This collection of shorts was interesting as it showed singles and couples in various stages of love. Whether it was the hope of falling in or the pain of following out of love, the author gave us several different views. I will say that some were hard to follow because of the way they were written. I could not tell if these were shorts or the beginning of poetry as there were issues with formatting. It made it hard to decipher where one ended and another began.
I will say that the one that stood out for me the most was the first story. If nothing other than the messaging. While therapy didn't seem to really work for the protagonist of that story, there was a line that basically said that therapy can be medicine for the soul and I loved it. It's okay to take your medicine. The other line that stood out was the protagonist stating that love looks like a nightmare. It was also a reminder that our momentary actions can have long term effects on our lives. I think if the formatting is addressed as well as a few issues that could help make the document more concise and add clarity this could be a 5 star read across the board.

I love to read short stories, but the bonus of reading these short stories were they were about love. New love, rekindling love, finding love and just being in love. Every story written was a different aspect of relationships and what part love played in them. Each one of the stories made me laugh and smile and wanted love like this. My favorite was the first story, Even Rose's have Thorns. Samantha was in love with her boyfriend until she saw he was a cheat, but she ended up finding the man she wanted in a place she never thought she would.
These stories were great and this was my first book by this author and will not be my last!!! I love love and this author wrote about love in such a loving way!!! Great read!!!

Great read

This was definitely a great read such a great mixture of stories and writing styles that showed the authors depth in writing. I think I fell in love with the first story those characters definitely had me wanting more. This was my first time reading this author and I enjoyed it and I can’t wait to read more
