Fascinante libro que retrata de maravilla el periodo entre 1670 y 1730. Horrible las corruptelas de los agustinos criollos, la sociedad que decide encerrar a sus mujeres en conventos para pagar mandas y quedar bien con la sociedad, el fanatismo religioso todo esto hace un libro difícil de dejar.
