Norbert is the sweetest little gnome! This book was so magical, both because of the illustrations and the empathetic content. This was my first holiday book for the season and I'm so happy it was. Norbert gave me such a warm feeling, despite the winter cold, as he showed respect and empathy - which is too lacking in this world - to his non-human friends. The whimsical illustrations will engage children and the writing will teach them reverence for all living beings.
