The writing was extremely repetitive and didn't have a good flow to it. The writing quality was about that of an average high school senior. The book was heavily focused of management for hunting purposes, which isn't surprising, but I was still disappointed by it. Proper scientific terms were also not used when explaining things, such as the nutrition needs of deer at different times of the year.

This one is better for hunters maintaining a woodlot for optimizing hunting opportunities. Not for me. It looks to be thorough and we'll laid out though.

Lots of good information on requirements for different wildlife types and ways to achieve that but too much dependence on chemical fertilizer and herbicides.
