The Rescue: is the final book in this series
A thriller is something that makes us uncomfortable, nervous in fact, but for some deep-seated reason we can't stop thinking about it. The thrill comes when we can't put it down and our favorite characters survive against all odds, rewarding our subconscious for sticking with the story despite our nerves. And man, do these characters survive - against so many different threats. In a story that will have your nerves pushing you to the edge of your seat




Skye, Dylan, Wade, and Jesse are back, but the big question will remain in your mind all the way through this book. Who will survive? Who will, Make it back to Cole’s Mountain? … course there will be few more questions as you start this final journey. But no worries. All of your questions will be answered. well, pretty much all of them will, of course. Like any good author, they will leave you with a bit of tiny opportunity for a spinoff.

After being left with such a. Cliffhanger in the last book (The Trial) God how. Grateful I felt knowing that I didn’t have wait one dang minute to pick up the last and final book in this series

Trust me when I say that I truly tried my very best to take my time with his book, since I knew that there was nothing to follow it


So, we might not have Calvin and his equally evil crew in this book, but the author gave us so many other people to loath and hate

There are traitors on Cole’s Mountain and they are working against the community
There were the sick men and women that kidnaped them, and there were the low life men that traded them to mad scientist. Who had performed Unspeakable things to human beings! All for the purpose for science. All for the so call cure that already existed! Then there are the guards who enjoyed dishing out pain for their own amusement

The group goes their own separate ways for a while. In the beginning of this book. Which each will learn their own harsh reality.

Wade had learned the harsh reality when he went to The Containment Center- There was no mistaking what this was. It’s where the Infected and Sick went to die.

Jesse will be forced to choose between his new parents’ safety ….. whose life will come 1st …
Skye and Kelsey had already learned nothing in the outside world was as it seemed.

Well, more like Skye had to learn how Dylan and Wade sheltered her from the worst of it—from as many of these ruthless, uncaring men as possible. Skye didn’t see the world for what it is… but by the end of this story she will have her eyes wide open

Doctor Devon Shade was the worse of the bunch, he is a mad scientist living in his own sick world -This man—this monster—created the disease that killed almost everyone on earth?

How many times will Dylan and Wade sacrificed everything to save Skye? You might ask yourself this question if you have read this whole series! You’ll also ask yourself if Dylan and Wade can reach Skye in time? The only thing I can say is- only time will tell

I didn’t read these two books Seabound: The Beginning Prequel 1-Seabound: The Atlantis Cure Prequel 2, cuz I read the blur didn’t feel like it was necessary. It kind of felt like. It wasn’t in the Atmosphere. But once I got further into the last stretch of the book, I seen that I was completely wrong about not reading Ian and Sonora’s back story

I really enjoyed this book although I think it would be better if I had read the whole series. In this book there are few people left on the earth as they have been killed by the Agflu a disease that had spread through the land with no cure. The main characters in this book came from a place in West Virginia called Cole's mountain. Evil is prevalent in this new world with no police, military etc. to fight the crime. Especially at a weird place where an evil Dr. says he is working on a cure for the Agflu. How he goes about this is terrible and he has lots of rough characters travelling around kidnapping people to use in his experiments. This story has a little bit of everything in it, romance, suspense, adventure you name it. I don't think you need to read the whole series to enjoy it but it probably would be a little better.

Remember TO breathe

I really had to remember to take a breath!! This one is a page turner. The scenes are so crispy and clear you would believe you were there watching from a hill!! The character in each scene would appear in front of your eyes. Emotions you couldn't deny will rise in your throat begging for freedom. How I wish this one would become a movie! A truly beautiful book!

The Rescue: Sanctuary's Aggression 5 by Maira Dawn is a fantastic story to read. This is book number five in this fantastic series that I have been so hooked on. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about thrillers and soft science fiction.

It's Over, oh the feels of this series ... I took a while to read because i knew it was the last book and because all got so dire... I loved this series and their characters... I am usually that person that reads the first book and moves on... I couldnt do that here... This Series has been one exciting journey after another.

I have enjoyed reading this Series very much. The mountain men, the city people and the ocean people are all enjoyable. All except the bad people. I recommend this Series to all who enjoy reading apocalyptic books.

High quality for YA apocalyptic fiction

The Rescue, along with the rest of the Sanctuary's Aggression, is surprisingly enjoyable for YA friendly apocalyptic fiction. The character's change and grow throughout the series, and especially in The Rescue. I can confidently recommend the series for youth and adults as an enjoyable read, and might be an especially good choice for reading-reluctant youths!

Atlantis??

Books 1-4 were good. For the most part, realistic. Then this? People from Atlantis? Why ruin the series with this ending? Very disappointing.
