I was here for all the drama!

I was hooked from the very beginning. Chile the drama & the mess that this book brings is about to have me instantly dive into book 2.

I was rooting for Felisha the entire book. She stood her ground and didn't let the things going on around her compromise her education.

Julian is like the typical human, can’t see a good thing until they're gone. Despite its immaturity, I found the portrayal of Julian and Felisha's relationship relatable for some, reflecting the typical drama of college and young adulthood. Both characters have much growing and maturing to do, especially for the sake of their son.

Cion did a good job of keeping me invested in the characters. I usually don’t like this, but I also liked the format of the book starting off in the present and then flashing back to the past to provide the backstory for how the couple's relationship reached the point it is at in the present. This was my first book by this author, and I am definitely looking forward to reading more.

Wow!!!! That ending!

Once again another banger by the author! She writes the hell out of these books with toxic relationships and I be here for every minute of it. I love that Falisha gives Julian that exact same energy he brings to her. Jane is a bird and just happy taking whatever scraps Julian throws her way. Gabby is sneaky and her true colors are showing bit by bit. I can't wait for part 2! Kudos to Cion another well written book with a fire of.

DAAAYYUMMMM!!!

So he gone kidnap ha?!?

I was here for all ratchetness 😂🤣😂

Julian got two girl’s pregnant at the same time…I’m still feeling like he low key trapped Felisha because he knew she would walk away when she found out that Janae was pregnant.

This whole family and the whole series is SUPER FUN and Sooooooo GOOD! I love EVERYTHING about these characters.

I haven’t read a book like this since high school, and that’s about 16 years ago. I was hooked from the very beginning. I could not put this book down. The drama had me hooked. I didn’t know what was going to happen next. Just when I thought things were good, it was turned upside. I was rooting for Felisha the whole time. I was so in my feelings that I was taking Julian’s behavior personal. Like he did everything to me. I love love love Felisha!! She stood her own and didn’t let her situation compromise her education. Yes, she was petty at times. lol. No one is perfect. I felt like Julian is a lot of men today, can see a good thing until they’re walking out the door. This was my first book by this author and I am definitely looking forward to reading more.

⭐️⭐️⭐️

The author’s note at the beginning was absolutely correct. But oddly enough out of the couple’s I’ve read so far- they are the least toxic.

Now the levels of toxicity is high, I’m just saying… compared to Jigga. Baby bro Julian was less toxic.

He fully played Felisha and put her in a position that was pretty f-ed up. Especially considering she was cut off for a few months, leaving her alone from her own family.

Can’t wait to see how they pull together.

My one gripe with the whole series so far, is the lack of change from the guys. The women always end up just adjusting to their bs.

Drama x2

Love how Felisha grew into her independence, and wouldn’t let her love forJulian sway her. Loved the support of their families, especially Julian’s. Even Julian’s decision to go pro early was admirable. That been said, I was never a fan of high school nor college romance…too juvenile, but I’m fast becoming a fan of this author. That ending though was not expected, hope Felisha’s remember her mace.Typically do not like series novels but I’m enjoying this. 5 ⭐️ for sure and the price was worth it.

Oh the drama!

Felisha went to college with the intent of turning up but meeting Julian the star basketball player turned into so much more! What I thought was crazy was the Ex Janae turning up pregnant right along with Felisha! This was a lot and then Saint tripping over Felisha so bad that he literally pulled up on her and they're not even in a
a relationship! That ending though, what the heck! I need to know what happens next! Many grammatical errors but a great drama filled read!

Fire and desire

This book was so detailed and drama filled. With all the madness you can still feel the love between Felisha and Julian. Love how we see the flashbacks versus the present day. I love me some baby Juelz, he stole the story with his charm. So adorable . I respect a man who loves to be a father and holds it down like Julian. My girl Felisha, I just loved her . That was dope. I’m so ready for part 2!!!! That ending, never saw that coming.

Ready For Part Two🔥🔥🔥

This was so good. I loved the relationship that developed between Felisha and Julian, they were so good together. I liked how everything flowed together. Not feeling Janae or Gabby, don’t really see home and Gabby being together for to much longer. Oh and I love Jenesha she kept me laughing. Saint just needs to keep it pushing also. That ending though😲 I definitely wasn’t expecting that. Hopefully nothing bad happens. So ready for part two. Don’t make us wait to long.

Beware this is a Part I

I really liked this book. The story was well written and flowed nicely. The writing puts you in mind of Nicole Jackson or her prodigy Cee. The story flips back and forth from the past to the present which I usually don’t care for but this author made it work and it wasn’t so bad. I would have given this book 5 stars if the author made aware this book was going to end on a cliffhanger and conclude with a part II.

I don't usually give 5 stars for books with this type of cliffhanger, but this book was too gppd!
I absolutely love how the women in these books don't take no mess! It's very liberating thinking that there are young women that aren't afraid to stand up to anybody that tried to do them wrong. In real life I would hope it didn't lead to violence, but in the fictional world, I'll allow it.
I'm obsessed with Cion Lee and that's all I have to say.

Pure Madness

This book is full of toxicity and I couldn’t put it down. Everyone needs therapy of some sort. Julian simply wants all the attention and when Felisha comes along. He realizes he’s never been rejected and does everything to keep her in his life.

Felisha is young, dumb and head over heels. Something about Julian she can’t break away. Will they get it together? We’ll find out on the next episode of That’s All Me.

❤️‍🔥 🏀Toxic Love 🏀❤️‍🔥

Now that cliffhanger I was not expecting. Julian and Felisha got a lot going on with them. If it ain’t one thing it’s another chile. I’m glad Felisha got a backbone tho cause hunnyyy she was just accepting $#!t. Julian is like the rest of the men in the family… Spoiled and entitled. He’s not the worse tho. Ok now I’m going on to part two.

Young Luv 🥰🥰🥰

Oh my goodness this book is so good I love this family. These two young people I'll find in their way it's interesting to see the changes that they go through. Felisha and Julian are a young couple in love but circumstances you can drive them apart and they have to work their way back together. I should have waited for part 2 to come out 🤣🤣.

Part 1

Part 1 was intriguing and entertaining. Being a fly in the wall and witnessing this young love develop and waver had me reminiscing my college days. Felisha and Julian wild out on a whole nother level. 1 thing is for sure, although the maturity isn’t here yet, his love for her is apparent. On to part 2 now!

A definite must read

My only gripe, sis, the numerous grammatical errors was killing me!! Throughout the whole book too?!? 4.5 because of that

But I emplore those who love a lil drama (actually a lot) that you’d enjoy

Nice Twist

Cion never ceases to amaze me. She has bukoo books about this large Martelle family and she still comes with the good storylines. I love how this book went back and forth from the past to the present. It kept things interesting. I can't wait for Felisha and Julian to get their happy ending. And love little Junie and JuJu.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love all of Cion books, I also love how she intertwine all of her characters. Julian really loved Felisha and I wanted them both to get it together. Unfortunately the ending left me with so many doubts that they would be able to get back together.

I enjoyed this series. It was different but what happens when love steps in. Julian was a mess and Felisha wasn’t playing. She wanted the relationship but Julian wasn’t ready. Then the other baby momma was a whole mess. On to part 2.

Messy

Julian is a whole mess but I’m still hopeful that he will get his whole life together. I love him and Felisha even though they are very toxic. I don’t care for Gabby at all. Don’t post my child ever

Drama! But, it reflected the typical college, young 20s, living wild and carefree, think they know it all and haven’t experienced wisdom in certain areas yet type of drama that happens in real life. Although very immature, I liked Julian for Felisha and vice versa. They have growing pains to maneuver through and they both have a lot of maturing they need to do, especially for the sake of Jules, but that comes with time and life experiences. The author did a good job of making me get fully invested in the characters and caring what happens to most of them. I also like the format of the book starting off in the present and then flashing back to the past to provide the backstory for how the couple’s relationship reached the point it is at in the present. It had a nice flow, with the exception of some grammatical errors peppered throughout the book.
