I let down my walls with Patrick. I have feelings for him, to be honest, I have had feelings for him since that first Skype call. But I promised myself I wouldn’t do this again, fall for the handsome doctor who is just going to break my heart. His voice is deep and slightly scratchy, and I feel it deep in my core. I can’t let him get to me. I can’t be in this situation again. I know that he is not Greg, but that doesn’t mean that I am ready to give another man the power to break my heart. I was not going to fall for him; I didn’t think I could stand another heartbreak and come out the other side whole.

It isn’t for lack of female companionship, I have been on a few dates since I moved to town, but there hasn’t been any spark, I know that it is because none of them are Carrie. I know that she is just as attracted to me as I am to her, and she is trying hard to fight it. I am nothing like the doctor she is running from, and maybe one day she will give me the chance to prove it. I need to accept that Carrie doesn’t want a relationship with me, and even though we have feelings for each other and so much in common, she is not ready or willing to let herself feel those feelings.

Carrie has just had her heart broken by the doctor she was dating, worse she sees him every day and with the woman he replaced her for. She needs a fresh start and with her best friend living in Silver Springs it seems like the place to go especially as a new Doctors Surgery is about to open and in need of a nurse. The first time she sees Patrick Shaw she’s feeling things she hoped were dead and buried and she’s promise herself never to date another doctor, except after the night of passion they shared she pushed him away. She’s knows it’s a mistake to walk away but thinks that’s the only way to protect her heart. Can she let him in and if she decides to will he still even want her?
Patrick Shaw wants a new life with his brothers around him and decides he’s moving back to Silver Springs and opening a Doctirs surgery, so when interviews Carrie as a nurse it seems like everything is where it is meant to be especially after meeting Carrie he knows he is where he’s meant to be. But after an incredible night together after his brothers wedding he thinks that she’s on the same page as him only for her to tell him it was a mistake. He’s devastated and knows he needs to let go, she is the one for him. But when they are drawn together again it seems fate is on his side, will Carrie ever admit his she feels about him?
Short and sweet, trust me you want to shake Carrie and tell her to get a grip especially with the way Patrick keeps putting himself out there for her. Great read and I’m loving this series. 4.5 🌟 Read.

This is the third book in this fast fun series and we finally get the story of Patrick he is the Shaw brother who is a doctor and he has decided to leave the big city hospital behind and start a general practice in Silver Springs the home town of his brothers
Patrick is a paediatric surgeon but he has had enough of the big city hospital he works in and has decided to just work as a general practitioner The only thing is he needs a nurse to work in his new surgery He interviews Carrie over skype at the recommendation of his future SIL. Carrie needs to get away from the emergency department she works in her boyfriend Dr Greg has cheated on her and everyone in the hospital knows about it and is laughing at her or that is what she thinks. Patrick is attracted to Carrie even when he is interviewing her and once they are working together the attraction only grows but she will never trust another doctor as long as she lives even if she is attracted to him as well When a night of passion leads to consequences can he convince her that she is the one for him.

Brilliant
Another brilliant book of the series. Carrie has moved to silver springs for a new start she is going to be the nurse for a the new doctors practice the last thing she wants is another relationship with a Dr even though this one is hot doctor and she felt an immediate attraction to him. Once Patrick saw Carrie he knew she was the one but Carrie has a no dating doctor rule except at Vinny’s wedding but after their night together she said it was a mistake. Carrie sees Lexi at the surgery and after going through symptoms it looks like she is pregnant which makes her think about how she has been feeling. Later at home Carrie finds out she is also pregnant with Patrick’s baby now to tell him. Patrick wonders why Carrie wants to see him he thinks she is going t move away and puts his heart on the line to her only that she loves him too and sorry it has took her this long to tell him also she is pregnant with his child.

When one door closes, the next one swings open! Carrie, nurse at a big hospital is feeling the heat after her longtime boyfriend, Dr Greg cheats on her and everyone in the hospital knows it. Dr Patrick, pediatric surgeon, left the big city rat race, to settle in Silver Springs with the rest of the family. He interviewed Carrie and was immediately smitten. Carrie was glad she would be living in town with her friend, Vinny and get to meet her best friend, Lexi. Will all the ladies get along? Can Carrie put down her luggage? Id Patrick ready for Carrie? Nice story, good flow, quick and satisfying. I received an ARC from Booksprout adn am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another good book
