When I was given knitting needles and skeins of yarn for Christmas, I was a woman POSSESSED, and ready to knit!! Sadly, the 99 cent "learn to knit NOW!" accompanying the gift was not clear on how to do anything other than make big long rectangles of stockinette stitch. This book served as my first REAL how-to of knitting. I have made several of the patterns and they have come out beautifully! The instructions are clear and easy to understand, and the book itself serves as an easel to help with hands-free direction-consulting. A must for any beginner knitter!
