some enjoyably nutty lore as well as genuinely useful info on the geography and various dynasties of ancient and medieval india. if it wasn't for the rampant sexism and casteism I'd give it 5 but as it is, its probably ***

I have only read this translation

Just phenomenal, all time great, translation is a little clunky at times, but the content makes up for this minor flaw a thousand fold
