Logan and Ivy had a childhood friendship that turned into love when they were teens. After high school, they lost touch but never forgot each other. Now's their second chance, if only they can be honest about their past hurt and learn to forgive.
There is old family trauma for both characters, and Logan is a member of the wedding party for Marnie and James, while Ivy is the bartender at the resort and one of their high school classmates.
This novel mirrored the first two with two flawed people falling in love with a lot of drama and miscommunication along the way. As with the previous books, I didn't always love how the two spoke to each other, but I loved the dynamic between the friends.
