This book provides a good, easy read; a romp through many challenges that accompany our "living longer."Dr.Casciani makes the case for the impact on how well we do, how well we feel, as in large part derived from our attitude and outlook. It also reflects our ability to look ahead and not be unduly curtailed by our inability to tolerate uncertainty. The book is at its weakest in the sections reviewing clinical conditions. Dr. Casciani's voice and passion, drawn from extensive experience and a delightful sense of humor, enhance the pleasure of reading Living Longer is the New Normal.
Dr. Casciani has written a very ‘user friendly’ handbook to successfully aging. His book is a wonderful combination of interesting research on aging and a great roadmap to living longer - but, more importantly, living better into older age. I highly recommend Living Longer Is The New Normal!
Quick, informative read! I loved the way certain concepts were worded, and I plan to use some of the verbiage with clients. I do wish there was more detail in each section, though. It felt too broad for how powerful this book could be! **I realize it’s not a clinician’s guide
I like it a lot, but I'm biased. It's a quick, uplifting read with takeaways to use later on, and inspiration to help us strengthen our belief in our self.
