almost instructional, v detailed and interesting. not a lot of thorough descriptions of cultural community surrounding spiritism especially when it came to religious connections but the few anecdotes were pretty fun lol. also the brief arab "guardian" spirit mentions were v compelling and i wish there had been more discussion there too although i actually was taken in by my belief and the contents of this book would not necessarily be islamically false (even if the acts of mediumship themselves would haram) - would love to attend a reading if it were permitted islamically or even just meet someone like this if it were possible

Amazing book!
