The way of using a story to write a self-help book worked really well. There is a lot included in it and having read and enjoyed the story I will need to go back and 'study' it a bit more which I think I would recommend others to do. It is easy and enjoyable to read and there is a lot to take in but there are a lot of useful diagrams which will be easy to go back to. There is a lot which can be integrated with other 'therapy' and ideas and it will take a while to do this.
Whether you think you need self-help or not I would recommend reading this book as a way to reflect on your life.
Path is a wonderful story about a young man who has lost all that matters to him. On a trip in the California mountains the young man meets a young woman who is wise beyond her years.
The guide to life the woman explains to the man is told through lessons and teachings of history’s great thinkers and Buddhist philosophy.
A joy to read. This book would make a wonderful gift for all graduates or to anyone who seeks to find their way in our complicated world.
A beautiful book no matter your age of you current place on your own Path.
This simp!e little book should be read by everyone. It really does hold the key to Life. It had all the things I had studied for more than 40 years and told them in simple accessible words in a pleasant story. And even in my 80s I learned even more. What more could you ask of a book?
a gentle story for all of us who struggle to accept that on each and every path there are struggles.
i think this book was ok, to be very frank there wasn’t any line that stuck with me and that is kinda odd. the older i get the harder i find self-help books that are very good.
