It was okay. The story continued on with the aftermath of Karen learning about the results of her indiscretion with Kway. There were moments of treachery and betrayal, but all "loose ends" were tied up in a nice boy in the end.
I found myself skimming the inner monologues as they were repetitive. I was not as engaged with this installment as I was with book 1, but I am glad that I got to find out the resolutions to this reckless cast of characters. This is a 2.5 rolled to a 3 because the author did provide some education around HIV and dispelled a few myths.

Where Do We Go From Here?
As Karen continues to make a decision to head back to the clinic for the “stop counting” time. Meeka was still trying to get her to see Kway and Meeka was still trying to get Pop since he was glowed up in the streets. Meeka is a self centered big mouth gold digger and no matter how bad she was Pop would never respect her but he would use her to his advantage but who will really be using who? Jo runs into an old friend Priscilla who he had a major crush on back in high school but he will not act on it due to his love Kareem. Kway is being hunted by Pops after he finds out what he did to December. Rob and Daphne are now zeroing in on all the dopeboys and busting them left and right! Thanks to Meeka’s large mouth! The doors are closing in on Kway, Pop, Karen, Meeka and when the wind blows on these guys it’s going to be hell! December’s met someone but finds it hard to tell him her issues, Jo finds tragedy, Pop, Kway, Jo and the crews are battling it out and man it’s too much ! Prayers for the dying and for everyone who is trying to live a better. The bomb!

GREAT READ
This was a great series with so many twists and turns that would have you anxious to know what's going to happen next. My heart broke for Karen. I really wished she would've just been honest with Jo. Although he would've been disappointed and angry with her actions I felt they could've overcome anything together. I didn't like December at first but once I knew the real reasons behind her actions I understood why she acted the way she did. Lives were lost and betrayal become the reason for revenge but through it all, those still standing went on to have productive lives with a happy ending. Great story repping the streets of Jersey.

this book was amazing like just wow first i wanna say kway was a demon he deserved everything he got and more purposely giving out that house in virginia second karen i felt bad for her she was just fed up listening to her friend her mom talk bad about her significant other started to leave a bad taste in. her mouth for him clouding her judgment jo just deserved to be happy iam glad he was ok in the end he was one of the good guys.meka ran her damn mouth and resulted in her demise great read this book needs to made into a movie asap!!!

YESS! 🔥🔥🔥
I’ve been waiting forever for book 2, however, I had no problem refreshing my memory going back to reading book 1! People like Kway isn’t honest about their sexual status. This story was definitely a page turner. It had me on the edge of my seat! I love all the characters in this story. Pop is a stand up dude. I like that he owned up just to save his sister and his boy Jo, that’s real love right there! I think the ending turned out good for December and Jo they deserved it!

Awesome book
Omggggggg Ughhhhhhhh why did it have to enddddddddd I wish i had y’all number lol 😂 but this book was so touching I’m so so happy for My girl December ! Jo is happy Pop a real ass nigga. Ain’t to many of those I just loved the whole story And the characters we need a movie lol Y’all definitely did y’all thang when it came to this book Jessica Girl you never disappoints EVER EVER !!!!! I can’t wait to meet you one day I’m not to far from you I’m in Milwaukee lol Really a eye opener some men and women out here is really dirty . I Really can’t believe I let these 2 books sit in my library this long wow . Just my opinion
Reading the first book took a long time for me, because I wasn't sure where it was going. My first thought was how depressing no love ending for anyone. Then it started to move differently. Bottom line is this book was damn good! I wished for a better outcome for Shay. Got a new artist to listen to. I hope this was a inspiration to people as much as it was to me!

Absolutely loved the ending!
There were so many twists and turns in this series that it kept me on edge... Between both (books 1 & 2)....my emotions were all over the place. I felt so bad that Shay was the most innocent of all and she paid so dearly because Kway was such a scarred individual. However, Jessica & Tsu Surf wrote all the characters in way that even though I did not like some of their actions...I still ended up wanting to see them come out on top!

This book is outstanding!
The book gives a flash back so you can dive back into the story. December is still my favorite from book one and that doesn’t change! Justice is truly served while giving us the story and tea on all the characters. I would love a follow up for December with all that is going on!

Everyone got the beautiful ending they deserved and the snakes got what they deserved in the end too I just really wished that the annoying detective lady had died too lol but nonetheless this book was amazing and teaches real life lessons and to never give up hope or faith even when you’re at the lowest point in your life and btw I love me some POP!that’s my hubby😍👅😂

Beyond Awesome!!
I loved this series!! The story and it's message are everything!! The first book had me hooked. The story and it's characters were great and well developed. I was glad to see how Karma was served well giving the main characters their HEA. I've been a fan of Jessica's and have become a fan of Tsu's. Great collab guys!!!

Great Series
I enjoyed reading this series. I was afraid for Jo and December; yet I’m glad they both got exactly what they deserved. Priscilla and Quest were definitely God sent individuals. Pop will forever be the man of the hour, he has it in him through his thuggish behavior. Thank you both for sharing your talents.

This is by far one of the best two book series. From beginning to end. I'm glad that Jo Nd December got their happily ever after. I hate what happened to Shay. She was innocent in everything. But both books were worth it. Great Job to both author's on these great books!!!!

Meeka was to blame for everybody’s downfall, just as much as Kway. She was the one friend in Karen’s ear encouraging her to step out in Jo. Meeka was also knowingly messing with Rob, after finding out his occupation. Which led to majority of the chaos in the street. This was a good series 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Finale
I never would have imagined how the finale turned out. There was so much action and so many deaths. At some point I had to stop and remember who was alive. The recap of book 1 at the beginning was a nice touch!

As always, storyline is always on point and never disappoint me. I loved loved the end and was so happy for Jo and December they both definitely deserved their happily ever after.

I would have thought there lives was over, but they found love in the end !!! HIV could end lives of its not taken care of. I'm glad that nobody spread to other! These are some good learning books!!

Didn't want it to be over
This series was a great read. I didn't want it to be over. This story had a lot of betrayal, secrets and lies. Which is unfortunately part of the game when you are living that life.

Great series. After getting over the initial reallyyyyy factor of why the book was called House in Virginia I was able to enjoy the series. There were enough characters for me to equally hate and love them 🤣🤣. Pop was the real mvp of the series. Like he was a true ride or die friend and brother!
