Ellie the elephant loves to draw pictures, host tea parties, and nibble on delicious, buttery biscuits. What she does not love, however, is mud. In fact, the mere thought of mud gives her nightmares! Poor Ellie feels left out when all the other elephants go outside to play in the mud puddle. Sometimes, she feels so mad and so sad, it makes her cry. Anxious Ellie is a Children's Book written by the author Danielle Marie Price. It is the story of an elephant Ellie. She likes to draw pictures, host tea parties, help her mom in baking and her brother with his homework.

Whenever it rains, all the other elephants enjoy in the mud puddle but Ellie stays at home due to her fear of sinking in the mud puddle. This made Ellie feel sad and left out. Read the entire story yourself to know will Ellie get some way so she doesn't has to be alone on the rainy days.

The story is written well. Illustrations are bright and nice. Through this story author is giving a very wonderful message to kids. Everyone has fears and that's okay, but nobody ever has to be alone. Reading this story of Ellie was a fun experience for me. I recommend kids to add this book to their bookshelf

An adorable book with really cute characters and a fantastic message. About a young elephant who doesn’t feel comfortable jumping in the mud on rainy days with the rest of her family. Despite their reassurances she still isn’t into it, she’d rather stay indoors and color pictures or bake biscuits. One day when she’s baking biscuits with her she discovers that he too has a phobia, he doesn’t like hot things. So after she puts the biscuits in the oven for him, Ellie talks with Philip about it. They decide to help each other so on the rainy days he’ll come over and jump in the mud while she bakes the biscuits... this way he doesn’t need to be near the oven and he can tell her all about the mud so she doesn’t feel left out. 🐘love the problem solving in this one and the empathy they both have for each other, really sweet 😊

This is a beautifully written and illustrated children’s book that immediately makes you connect your own anxious worries with anxious Ellie’s. I love that the story is shared in a way that encourages kids to focus on what they are good at instead of being hard on themselves for what they struggle with.

This precious book creates the perfect way to talk to kids about anxious feelings and thoughts. It gives hope, and a creative way to think about how to not focus on our fears. Also helps to see opportunities to turn negativity around into something worthwhile and fun- like biscuits with friends <3
