A comprehensive firearm training manual for the new shooter, older shooter and firearm trainer from a former Special Operations and Law Enforcement Trainer. The author, Paul Howe, spent 20 years in the U.S. Army and participated in numerous combat operations, bringing those lessons learned to the forefront of the training industry through his school, CSAT-Combat Shooting and Tactics for over 20 years. Training has encompassed Federal, State and Local Law Enforcement to include American Citizens, Teachers and Church Security Teams.
Excellent knowledge transfer by Paul Howe. I read this as a student, not a prospective instructor. However, I enjoyed the insight and will no doubt be able to use that info during future classes to gauge instructor credibility. I look forward to training at Valor Ridge and CSAT. I also look forward to reading this book again and again.
This book is geared towards someone who has an interest in taking the instructor route when it comes to shooting. It offers advice on drills, expectations, student/instructor relationship and gear. I would recommend reading this before taking a CSAT course.
