It does not appear that this book was ever edited or proofread. The first 3 chapters are completely redundant. The same sentences and thoughts appear over and over without any explanation. Chapter 1 tells us twice that Hygge is a Danish practice. Chapter 2 is entitled the Origin of Hygge. Then, the third paragraph of Chapter 3 starts by telling the reader that “Hygge is a Danish method of living”, in case you didn’t remember that from Chapters 1 and 2.
The redundancy might not be as aggravating if the book wasn’t filled with typos and grammatical errors. However, the combination of typos and redundancy make the book almost unreadable.
