Will this handsome veteran re-kindle the old flame that still holds his heart, all the while saving a hoarding mother from catastrophe?
Nestled in the hills of the Lake Michigan shoreline, the ranch overlooks open fields and rich oak, maple, and beech tree groves. It has been owned by the Katzen family for generations. Once a working ranch producing cattle and milking cows, it has now turned into a therapy ranch for a multitude of special populations.
Little Bend is excited to have one of their beloved veterans back in town after a harrowing military career serving our country. This strapping young man completed his mission in service but has found a new mission to win the heart of a matron in distress.
The amazing Belle of Living River Ranch is working her therapy magic with a mother dealing with a hoarding addiction. How might the veteran, the matron in distress, and the hoarder come to a place of peace and satisfaction? Easy. It comes through faith, love, and support of a wonderful community!
Living River Ranch stories make up one-half of the A Time For Everything Christian romance series. All books written in this series follow Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 “A Time For Everything.” If you enjoy a cleanly written romance series with fully developed characters that move through a progression of books, you will love the A Time For Everything Series. This is the tenth book in the series and the series just keeps getting better. The characters are wonderful and it is great reconnecting with them in each book. I loved Ezra and Hadley's second chance at love. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to write a review.
Ezra and Hadley were high school sweethearts, but they broke up, when Thomas, Hadley’s brother and Ezra’s best friend, died while they were in combat. When Ezra returns to Little Bend and joins the maintenance staff at the Living River Ranch, will this be the second chance they need? Grab your copy and see what happens.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Hadley had appeared in previous books and she was always sad and trying to help her mum who was suffering with acute depression. In this book it's really good to see all the improvements achieved by them with the help of the ranch and friends. It's a story that fills our hearts with hope and well being! I received a free copy of this book as a member of the author's ARC team in exchange for an honest review.
Hadley broke her engagement with Ezra after her brother dies during military action. She is putting all her efforts into taking care of her mother, Mindie. Mindie became a hoarder after her son died and is now reclusive.
Ezra has joined the Living River Ranch's maintenance staff after getting a medical discharge from the military.
It has been years since the couple parted ways. Can love's flames be rekindled?
Great story line and the characters are fantastic. Trying to change from old ways to new ways on a ranch are not easy. Specially if you are a girl. Reading this really made me cheer for the girl. Recommend this book exceptionally. I receive this book as a gift in exchange for an honest review.
A Time To Keep and A Time To Throw Away is yet another wonderful story of the living river rance. The characters are great and the story is a story of hope, love and connection. I can't stop reading. I got this book for free for an honest review
I have loved this series. Each one is delightful to read and I got a good feeling from every one of them. I think number 10 is my favorite. I wholeheartedly recommend A Time to Keep and A Time to Throw Away by Everlee Whitman.
This is Ezra and Hadley’s story. We meet him in the last book and he has returned home from the military. They get their second chance at love. Looking forward to reading the next book
When we met Ezra in book 9, I had hoped his story would be told soon! I love that he’s from Little Bend originally, and already knows a majority of the characters we’ve come to know so well. We hadn’t officially met Hadley, but she’s been working at the ranch the whole time, too. I do appreciate that we hadn’t been introduced, simply because that’s a lot of characters to keep up with. My favorite part was when they were talking about all the matchmaking that had been happening in Little Bend. One person suggested they write books about them, and another argued that it’d be too boring. I laughed out loud! I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
