Eternal Love

Rate this book
Two lonely hearts, destined to be together. But only one of them is still beating…

Rebekah Jennings doesn’t believe she deserves everlasting peace and happiness. Since her death in 1762, she’s spent the last two hundred and fifty empty years people-watching in historic Williamsburg and drowning in sorrow and regret. She cannot help falling in love with the tourist town’s carpenter, Gregory, whose woodworking skill rivals the men from her own time. Adoring him from afar, she never planned on revealing herself to him. But when his life is in danger she shows herself to save him.

Gregory longs for a family of his own, but he can’t bear another broken marriage. So when a gorgeous colonial spirit saves his life, he thinks she’s just an out-of-reach beautiful vision. And although he adores her company, he believes the greatest gift he can offer is to help her move on to the next realm.

Though she’s grateful for his kindness, Rebekah knows she can never atone for the dark secret she carries. And as each day passes, Gregory falls harder for a woman he can’t touch.

Will the two unfortunate souls find a way to entwine at last?
Eternal Love is the first book in the heartfelt Williamsburg Ghost paranormal romance series, a follow-up to the Gettysburg Ghost series. If you like sweet storytelling, passion that spans the ages, and historically reverent settings, you’ll adore Linda Fausnet’s inspirational happily-ever-after.

Really loved this ghostly romance!

I'm usually not into romance stories, but this was
definitely up my alley. Not your run of the mill
romance, but it has one of my favorite ingredients ---
ghosts. This was a fantastic story line and kept me
glued to every page right up to the end. The characters
were great! I'm really looking forward to reading the
next book in this series. The description I've read
about it has definitely grabbed my attention!

Another fantastic series from Linda Fausnet. Again she does an absolutely fabulous job of bringing you to Williamsburg and bringing that time period to life while being in the modern world. The love story was heartbreaking and from the first page you are rooting for the MC's to be together. This series and her Gettysburg series is one I will be fore ever rereading.

Very Good Book

Romance between a man and a ghost is very enticing. I have read the Gettysburg series and enjoyed them a great deal. This book now takes place in Williamsburg and the ghost this time is a woman. Very enjoyable read and I look forward to more in this series.

I liked the book, but I did not like it as much as I liked the Gettysburg Ghost series. I felt like Somebody’s Darling being the first book in the Gettysburg Ghost series had more character development than Eternal Love(first in the Williamsburg Ghost series).

Wonderful

It's a keep you up all night page Turner. The story doesn't have any negative impact only positive things about what you can do.

It was a good story but I didn't connect with the characters as much as her previous trilogy set in Gettysburg. I still enjoyed the premise and will read the rest of this trilogy.

Vivid descriptions of Williamsburg and loads of historical details provide a rich background for Rebekah and Gregory to meet and fall in love. A sweet story of how two people find peace with their past and hope for the future with each other.

Such a brilliant book!
Of course an HEA - gotta get that right out there!
Poignant, heartrending, slow burn, delicious & tasteful lovemaking, lots of laughs, plenty of tears.

This is so well done with the history and modern times blending perfectly. I love Linda's way of writing how ghosts pass through the veil to Heaven. How she was able to make this an HEA is fantastic. Also well done is the sensitivity to slavery. It was viewed differently at that time in the past. Just as I'm sure in the future some will be looking back and wondering how we could ever do half of what we do with a clear conscience.
And so sweet how she gave a secondary character his HEA.
Very well written, and edited. Just all around wonderful.
