My secret is no longer a secret. My friends have shunned me. Archer and I are finished. Everything I was afraid of has happened. I need to get through my senior year and move on. My life might be in pieces, but I'm going to figure out a way to put it back together. Even if others don't want to see that. They're still targeting me. But that's a huge mistake. Because now I have nothing to lose. And that makes me dangerous. Eclipsed is the third and final book in The Del Sol High series. It contains mature themes, sexual content, and profanity. If you're not a fan of those things, this isn't the book for you. But if you like serious stuff mixed with lots of bad words and some sweaty sex, THIS IS THE BOOK FOR YOU.
It's literally the same book as the sunset series. A lying heroine with secrets, a weird hero who is loved, and somehow they find one another and say I love you without any build-up or anything else. She lies, begs for forgiveness, and accepts after ignoring her... like come on. No way can you do the same series, charge money, and just change a few character's names and schools?
I likes the first book but the second one annoyed me because she just kept lying. The third book was even worse for me. Her friends literally ditched her for months and then just decided okay let's be friends again. Her boyfriend who supposedly loved her instantly drops her (again for months) with no contact and they just get back together in the end like nothing. I'm sorry I would have preferred them not get back together at all. The time line for her birth makes no sense how she could possibly be related to her friend that's in the same grade as her and is two months older then her(that one i had to go back and read a few times and it still doesn't add up for me) and the ended just left me with so many questions .like that's it???? What happens with her dad and the shit with Heath. Too many frustrating points for me to enjoy this. I basically just read it to finish the series.
Nola is left alone in the wake of her secret, anyone that she thought was her friend have deserted her. But this girl is tough she stands up for herself and stays strong. But I found myself admiring this girl. I’m not going into too much detail for a reason this is a book you really need to read and see how the story plays out.
I had a few little issues with it though it needed an epilogue the ending was just that an ending so I’m kind of hoping an epilogue is released at some point. A worthwhile series although maybe a little disappointing. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book. 4 🌟Read.
Great series ending, although I would love to see an epilogue to show where Nola and Archer take their relationship and how Nola and her dad's relationship develops. Nola and Ricky's retaliation against Reese was too nice, but I'm more of a "stick a knife to them" revenge person anyway, lol. I was glad when the girls made up and was a little excited at what the relationship might have been with Mercy. I love reading your books and can't wait til your next series!

I've read the 3 books in this series. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters for the most part. The issues I have deal with length and time period. This series is a 1 book read, not 3. It seems to be a thing now that authors do. They shorten the book by making the reader read 3 instead of one. Maybe they make more money this way but it's not cool to have a book under 200 pages and charge regular price. The 2 major plot points that I didn't care for was (spoiler alert) Nola and Archer got together during the Homecoming dance in August and the book one ends. Then she started book 2 5/6 months later in Feb close to the Winter Formal. Why? We missed seeing the relationship unfold and the chance to get to know the characters better in order to root for them as they grow. The whole first book was told in 1 months time and boom book 2 starts much later. Why did McKayla feel the need to skip the beginning of their actual relationship? We really didn't get to read how they fell in love and why. The next issue I had was when they broke up a week later at the winter formal ending book 2. Then once again book 3 starts 3 months later in time for Prom. We didn't get to see her deal with the problems of losing her boyfriend and friends over a stupid 'lie' that wasn't really a lie but it should have taught her to fess up to the fact her mother had a sexual relationship with a teen age boy then caused his death by drunk driving and was serving a 15 year sentence. Well, no shit she didn't tell anyone. Who would? It didn't only affect her but her grandpatents as well. They lived in that town for years, did they want anyone to know how their daughter turned out? No, of course not. Nowadays moving and moving in with grandparents is not that big of deal as Reece made it out to be. The dad thing was kind of bs. It's so common today the kids have no idea who their dad is, which is sad but a fact. No one in today's world would have cared or been hurt because she kept that tidbit to herself. I've lived it and know this for a fact. The mom issue was way bigger and yes I personally would not have been willing to let that fact out of the bag especially knowing it would affect my grandparents lives as well. The ending bothered me too. We didn't get to see how the situation with Heath ended and how it affected their dad. We could have spent much more time reading about these relationships than the time spent on Nola's so called lies. I would have loved the author to dig in deeper. Then Nola and Archer get back together at Prom and boom again the book ends. We didn't really get to read much about their relationship as we did with them being broken up. I wanted more of that I guess. Anyway, I'm glad I read them. although it didn't take much time. I liked the covers of the books. She actually looks like a high schooler unlike a lot of covers. I like to visualize what the characters look like, so that to me was good.
This is my review for book 2, titled Burned, as well as this book. I chose to do them together because there really wasn’t much going on in book 2. Nola and Archer started the book together and the summary of what followed was group gathers at the beach, Nola and her friends have lunch in the quad, and Nola continues to struggle with the lies she has told her friends and Archer. Rinse and repeat. It was pretty easy to figure out what was going to happen at the Winter Ball. I will say, I loved the way that part of the story was told.
Book 3 picks up a couple months later. Nola is alone and is trying to come to terms with all that has happened when information starts to come out about the identity of her father. Much of the book is spent trying to find him and that revelation is one I wasn’t prepared for. I loved that Reese got what’s coming to her and overall, I enjoyed the series.

I really enjoyed this series, I honestly had tears for Nola at the start - it really moved me. It was great to see how Nola dealt with the bomb that was dropped in the last book. This book had Nola trying to get her mother to tell the truth and investigating who her father is. I know this is the last book and it tied majority of the loose end up but I would of liked to see what relationship she decided to have with her father once she found him - unfortunately the ending didn’t include this.
Once again. Nola standing her ground, even though she lost all the people she considered friends she remained strong. I love how the writer kept her that way. Not taking any bs. I do wish though the book didn't end the way it did. I felt like there was alot of things unanswered. Like what happened after prom? Was it really confirmed who the father was. Did she go to college. What happened with archer or her friends. In all though really good book.
First of all, what kind of friends walk away from you for all that time and then suddenly like you again? Weird. Most teens love the drama stuff, they would have been all over her. What boyfriend doesn't support his girl then all is well. Nola kept apologizing all over the place, jeez, she had nothing to feel bad for, suck it up people, . Wishy washy characters suck!
LAME. Don't even waste a minute on this series. Sunset Beach High was awesome but this one is terrible. The only 'good' thing was Nola trying to find her dad. Everything else was depressing. And GOD!!!! The last chapter, with Heath trapping Nola on the pier? I just wanted to die because I still got hope, but this last chapter killed me.
so after nola secret is out , what comes next is just to go on with the rest of her semester and learn from her mistakes. This was a good book an I highly enjoys and wanted more. nola finds out the hard way who is her true friends.

I liked this series almost as much as the winter series but I didn’t like the ending as I felt it ended abruptly and there could have been more said or an epilogue for a few years later. I don’t know I guess I just needed more at the end.
this was the last book in this series and i really liked it! she lost everything. her boyfriend and friends . now she has nothing to lose so nothing can hurt her or can it? read to find out what happens.
The conclusion of this series was so much better. Reese got the humiliation she clearly deserved. Plain out this series is a much bigger need of being read.
I loved the books but I wish the ending was better liked to know more about her dad and their ship and also would like to know about Marcy Brooke and Dylan
Wasnt sure if I was going to enjoy this series but I'm glad to admit I was wrong and loved it, it was so warm and filled with action on every page, even a bit of mystery. Loved it thank you
It's a good line : secrets held and everyone at school finds out. I would have liked it more if the secret would have been more devious. Good very light read.
Not my favourite series, but I liked the ending. My opinion on this whole series of books would be similar to the one I made about the Sunset Beach High series -- this being just another drama filled book that will keep you entertained.
