Because the author did not have to prop up the story with lewd language and sex, this is a great book to recommend to family and friends.” (Emphasis added)Reader’s Five Star “I wasn't sure what to expect from an author I wasn't familiar with. I was more than impressed. The characters were well developed, the story did not get bogged down with too much detail but flowed very smoothly. But mostly it kept me guessing and wanting to keep reading. I am really looking forward to his next book."

"Throw in a time traveling attorney, add his mother's 30-year-old unsolved murder, then mix well with one serial killer. It's a recipe for disaster.”

An old book he buys at a yard sale, takes Michael places he could never have imagined. Even back 30 years, to the year his mother was murdered. A serial killer, becoming aware of the old book, forces Michael to push the boundaries of his law books.
The serial killer has no boundaries!

Michael has an opportunity he has hoped for his entire life: experience closure and find justice. The serial killer has opportunities to end Michael's life in both the past and the present.

The question is, will Michael survive?

The probabilities are not promising!

If you like gripping stories that engage your imagination, mix in humor and love, and are outstanding crime mysteries with twists, you will love Debts Unsettled, the first book in Hollis Oliver’s "Mysteries Across Time series."

Excellent mystery and a heartwarming story of a family dealing with a murder although it was 30 years ago.
The antagonist seems very difficult to fight as he (a wealthy psychopath) is finally out of prison and wants retribution for the time he had to spend there.
The characters are fully fleshed. The plot is easy to follow and grabs the reader at the beginning and keeps him/her entranced until the joyful tears at the end.

While the story was good, the book was seriously in need of an editor. There were so many grammatical errors that they were a distraction.
