13 books into his Dan Coast series, Rodney Riesel shows no sign of slowing down, even giving us a glimpse of the plot for another that is yet to come. But who can get tired of Dan, Maxine, Bev, Red, Skip, and Mel? Not me, that's for sure.

I could recap the events of the book, but I think Riesel's own description in Amazon covers it perfectly. The only thing that I would add is that if you are a fan of Riesel's writing, you'll love this one. And if you aren't familiar with Riesel and Dan Coast, you've been missing out. But you have 13 great episodes to catch up on!

Best in the series!

Mel's interaction with everyone in this book made it hysterical. He needs as large a roll in the next one. The ending on this one was so unexpected and perfect. I've enjoyed the entire series, but for me it was beginning to lag, What He Doesn't Know, went beyond pulling it out of the slump for me. Great job!

Ho-ly crap

What a great “surprise ending” story. I never guessed that the “side” story, (which was a carry over from the last novel), would play such a big part. I am definitely looking forward to the next novel in the series.

Another stellar effort

The skill of this author keeps getting better and better. The humor is on track and the plots will hold your attention.

Dumb

Like the other Riesel books I’ve read, simplistic and overly cute. Easy with lots of gaps. Not to be taken seriously.

always the best

Rod kills it again. His way with words and suspenseful story telling never gets old. The humor fills in nicely too.
