The way we live now: designs for interiors 1950 to the present day

Catalogue published to accompany an exhibition of the same name at the Victoria & Albert Museum, 7 November 1978 - 4 March 1979. The exhibition showed designs of the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s with a selection of three-dimensional objects, either depicted in the deisgns, or similar to them. Interior designs also provided a context to the object designs. The catalogue chronicles and analyses contemporary taste, highlighting significant British and European deisgners and manufacturers.
