Intersting and not without humorous moments. Maybe it's just the general feeling non appreciation for many of things and places that Karl goes to, but I found the book left me flat quite often. Enjoyed enough to read through, but would be hard pushed to pick up another Karl Pilkington book unless it came with a glowing recommendation.

You have to love the dynamic between Ricky Gervais, Stephen Merchant, and Karl Pilkington to love this book. And I do. My only quibble is that on my e-reader, it's impossible to read the hand-drawn cartoons with thought bubbles that appear here and there and sometimes go on for a few pages. But it was a fun read with Karl's unique personality shining through at all times.

I can't believe the geniuses did it: they actually have a book with comedy in it on par with the show. A lot of jokes Karl has to tell in the Ricky Gervais show are on this book, and you just hear the Gervais laugh after every paragraph in your head. Amazing!
