I like the idea of it, but there are two issues.
1. I think they should have made all of the words short vowel sounds. Better for an early reader.
2. On two or three of the pages it was confusing what the answer was supposed to be, and on some pages there could be multiple vehicles that start with the letter indicated.

I liked the doctor truck, even though they called it an ambulance.
