This is a novel and innovative way to teach history in a way that will keep the student engaged in the material.
Although this subtitle says it’s a “Coloring Book for Everyone” I would suggest that is not the case. This book is really best for tweens or early teens, or even adults. Younger children would gain very little from this book.
It is a great idea for a history text. The overall story of World War II is shared in short one-page vignettes. These are historically accurate and are a fair representation of events. If the reader wants to make it a true historical challenge, they can research the appropriate coloration for the pictures.
If you are looking for an overview of World War II, this is a rather painless way to help your young person understand what happened. Or if you are older it might be a way for you to remember the stories you heard about the war.
Upon request, the publisher, with no preset conditions, sent me a copy of the book to review.
