Under The Midnight Sun: The Adventures Of Dalton Laird Book Two

Rate this book
When the U.S. Marshal's office summoned me to track down the murderer of three miners in the wilderness of Alaska, I became wracked with self-doubts about my tracking ability. With no time to say good by to my new bride, Corrine, I and my partner, Yukon Jack find ourselves on the trail of a killer--A killer whose tracks haunt me. Why are the tracks so familiar? And why does the sight of them bring back memories I would just as soon forget? Could they belong to the killer I tracked, and lost ten years ago?

Russell M. Chace

7 books1 follower
Award-winning author Russell M. Chace is the author of the Alaska historical fiction novels From Out Of The Loneliness, Under The Midnight Sun, The Sundogs of Winter, and Blessed are the Peacemakers. As a teenager and young adult, he learned much of what he writes, along the traplines and rivers he traveled by snowshoe, dog team, and snow machine in Alaska. During those years he wrote multiple articles for Alaska Magazine, Fishing and Hunting News, Voice of the Trapper, and the Alaska Trapper.
After moving to Colorado with his wife and two boys, Russell earned a degree in Criminal Justice and worked for the Colorado Department of Corrections for over twenty-two years. During that time, he was a member of the Emergency Response and Escape Team, tracking escaped inmates in urban and suburban environments.
Russell is now retired and working hard on his newest Alaska historical fiction novel. When not writing, he can be found fly-fishing, hunting, or prospecting the Arkansas River in the Rocky Mountains.
