Book: Café Indulge
Author: Praveer Kumar
Format: Kindle
Genre: Thriller, Mystery, Fiction

"Darkness may be the absence of light, but silence is by no means absence of thoughts." Cafe Indulge: the place where all the stories happen, and you can't help but be a part of it.

Book Synopsis:
Swayam, our protagonist, has just published his debut novel that circles around his muse, Sanaya. He always believed that people are like stories; examining them accurately, understanding more about them, inspired him to explore it further in his book. He meets Sanaya at Cafe Indulge and lets his writing grow. He can't help but be very optimistic about it since he has put his heart out into this book. However, life has other plans, and his book turns out to be a failure. Years go by before he decides to start penning his second novel. That's when he meets Natasha, at the very same Cafe Indulge, and as always tries to find a story in her. In the process of making a story out of her, he gets more involved in her life. She is no longer just his inspiration. The deeper he delves into Natasha, the more confused he gets. Why is her life so complicated? What is Natasha all about? Does Sanaya hold any secrets? The tale gets more intense as you keep reading.

My Review:
After debuting with his crime thriller novel, Mahira, Praveer Kumar's second thriller book, Cafe Indulge, has a great story plot. The twists and turns are beyond your expectations. Just when you think you have figured out the story, there, the author proves you wrong. And the ending just blows your mind away. The ideas in the book are very unique. Sometimes, there seems like a break in the flow of reading due to grammatical errors, present-past scenarios, and sentence structure. However, this can be attended to in the next edition. The first impression of the book over was that it was a good one; however, after reading it, I felt that an ambiguous book cover would be more appropriate.
The author, through his book, has tried to explain not just the various human sentiments but also displayed the mixed emotions that a novelist goes through. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a mystery. Grab your cuppa coffee/tea and INDULGE in the book's mysterious world. You surely won't realize when you have finished reading the book.
Overall, a highly riveting and intriguing read!

Intriguing story/mystery
Swayam is an author and unfortunately his first story did not sell well. Still undeterred he begins his second novel and that is when he begins to notice Natasha who comes to the same cafe as him. His study into Natasha’s life forms the basis for his second novel.
The story had a good premise and comes with intricate twists and turns. Enjoyed it.

Content - Swayam is a failed writer who tries to find real life stories. His first book Mahira was inspired from a girl named Sanaya who he met at a cafe name Cafe Indulge. But after the failure of the book, when Sanaya came to him to express her romantic feelings,Swayam rejected her saying he didn't have any feelings for her.
.
After a few months,at the same cafe, he met with Natasha and she became his inspiration for his next story. Now Natasha was suffering from PTSD after her fatal accident and also about to get divorced from his husband Ishaank, who now has another love relation with Prerna. Natasha just want to have her child back and sometimes is hallucinated about her son. Swayam agreed to help her and in this process met her ex-boyfriend Mayank. One day Prerna called Natasha to her house for some urgent matter but since then Natasha has not returned.
.
What happened to her? Why did Prerna call her? Where is her child? Read the book to know all these puzzle answers.
📖
📖
My Views - Cafe Indulge is a thriller mixed with romance. The plot and the narration is engaging amd will keep you glued to the book till the wnd. The ending was really surprising and full of twist but sometimes the plot is a bit slow paced. There were repetition of the same incidents various times which could have been avoided.
.
But other than that the storyline is really good. The language is simple and the characters are well developed.
.
A nice thrilling and gripping read.

This is an amazing book with unique story line. The story revolves around a failed writer Swayam, who had so much hope about his first book, his life turned grim after the failure of his first novel. The pace of his grim life becomes topsy turvy when a stranger Natasha enters his way. Natasha is an estranged woman and her life is a big mystery for Swayam. Nevertheless, they become good friends and Natasha also tells everything about her husband and family. The story of Natasha is enthralling with unexpected turns. She reveals about her husband, about his extra marital affair with a woman named Prerna and also about her lost son. One day, she is gone missing!!!

Who is the intruder? While the readers get so many ideas about the story line...the author surprises you with eventual part. To reveal the twist, you should definitely read this amazing book!

Swayam is a failed writer. He sees Natasha in café indulge and he is so curious about the story of her. They eventually become friends as Natasha stays in the same apartment. He thinks he knows Natasha, but whenever he thinks like that, a new part of Natasha's past is unfolded. Natasha is becoming more of a mystery to him. Most of the times, the answers he got from Natasha was a lie and he knew that too. But he couldn't find anything. One night she goes missing. Swayam badly want to find her. He starts to dig into the lives of her husband, his extra marital affair and her ex boyfriend. Every revelation is shocking to him. But he too was suffering from the loss of Sanaya, whom he met at Café indulge. She became the character of his first book. Where is Natasha? What happened to her? Where is Sanaya? Do they know each other? Why did Natasha lie to Swayam? What was their relationship? Right from page one, this book has a mysterious vibe. The character of Natasha is written really well, also that of Swayam. The life of Natasha is totally unpredictable. Every chapter offered a new part of her, which came as a shock to Swayam, who thought he knew everything about Natasha and for me too. I badly wanted to know about Natasha just like Swayam. I couldn't stop reading this book. The best part about this book is that it kept me guessing, but none of them happened. The twist at the end, I didn't expect that at all. But the plot could've been better, especially in the beginning it was quite confusing. I would highly recommend this book. Mysterious and unpredictable!

Café Indulge is a murder mystery thriller by author Praveer kumar.
As the book says, "It all started at Café Indulge"

The protagonist, Swayam Shrivastava, a struggling writer trying to find the *aha moment* to write his first book. That's when he meets Sanaya, a beautiful girl oozing so much confidence and her ever charming smile greets swayam into her life who finds his "muse" and a new ray of hope for his first novel 'Mahira' which eventually fails.

Then there's Natasha, a perturbed soul suffering from Post traumatic stress disorder due to an unfateful incident that ransacked her whole world.

Swayam finds a new friend in Natasha after losing a significant part of his life. The mystery enclosing her bewitches Swayam to know more. What is it? What is she hiding? Are these three lives connected? Will it change everything? Are the questions to be asked.

The book started with rather a slow note but gained pace as the conundrum begain to unfold itself. I am a sucker for psychological thriller and mysteries and this book right here provided me one.

𝗠𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝘀

I completely enjoyed reading this book. The twists and the main suspense are the only things that maintain the inquisitiveness of the reader. The author surely did complete justice to this genre. This book is fast-paced and it held me until the end. Not to mention that I am pretty shocked by the climax of this book. However, I felt that The story jumped from past to present without any caution and I was a little confused. I also think that the plotline could have been developed into much better and much much greater with such characters and outstanding climax.

𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲

Narrated in the first person, the writing style is simple and lucid. I really loved the way the author chose to write, by using natural language parallelly maintaining the characteristic of not omitting the essence. Though at some points the writing loses its pace and one can get lost but the author maintained the overall pace effortlessly.

𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀

This book has the characters that you will unquestionably care about. Each of the characters is written and brought to life skillfully. Across the book, the characters are developed effortlessly. Through the characters, the author addressed issues like mental health and identity crisis. The most fascinating part is that one of the female characters is portrayed as an utterly smart, independent and strong woman.

𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

Finally, I'd like to top this review up with recommendations.

You would pick this book if

1️⃣ You are a sucker for thrillers.

2️⃣ You are looking for a light yet gripping read (probably to come out of one of those reading slumps).

3️⃣ You want to start off with the reading habit. Because this book is not only a short and gripping read but also has a good language.

And you'll obviously not pick this if you do not like thrillers(well, that's too obvious. Isn't it?). But I'd suggest you pick it and experience all of that rushing and nail-biting sort of emotions.

What can you do to become successful? To what limits one can or one should go to taste sweet success?

I was suggested this book by shree_reads_books. I started reading this book and till few chapters nothing was making sense to be very honest. The book might be little slow in starting and one might find it incoherent.Better aditing skills could have been employed. But that is not the time to put down the book, No. You keep reading, you wait and boom!!! You will not be able to stop reading till the book is finished, I promise.

A very well thought out and written mystery thriller by Author Praveer, Cafe Indulge is the book you should pick up for a dose of thriller. The intensity of each character is very much in alignment with the thrill. I bet you will not be able to reach any assumption regarding who is right, who is wrong, who is victim and who is the real predator. Isn't that what a mystery thrill is all bout?

Character Snippet

Cafe Indulge is a story of such a writer named Swayam who finds characters of his story in real persons. His quest for a perfect muse leads him to such a point in life from where turning back is impossible. What might have happened? He is finding a story that will make him a successful writer and the story walks right into his life through doors of Cafe Indulge.

Natasha is a vulnerable woman, abandoned by the love of her life-her husband and in search for her lost son. If that was not enough she is a patient of PTSD and that is making her life even more difficult. Will she ever find happiness?

Sayana is an innocent girl who just loved Swayam with whole of her heart only to be abandoned by him.Why Swayam dumped Sayana? Was it her fault that she loved him with pure heart?

What Swayam wants in his life? Real love or a perfect story? Why the choice is so hard for him?

Does marriage mean end of love? Was that love true if it vanished so easily because life choices of two people in love were little bit different?
What should be the cost of money and success, Family? Own son? An innocent person or someone's life?

These and so many questions will arise in your head while reading this book and only you can find answers at the end.

My ratings: 4 Stars.

Few days back I came across this amazing book." I realised happiness is nothing which could come with so called success. It was hidden in the smallest of moments of love and care". It's a book with unique story line.

Cafe Indulge is a tale revolving around two girls, the protagonist crosses paths with. Sometimes the little things matter the most and this is clearly visible in the role of Swayam. Natasha is a fellow neighbor and
eventually becomes a friend of Swayam. The story shows a fail writer Swayam, who had so much about his first book, his life turned down after the failure of his first novel. But the story unfolds in a rather unexpected way till the time Swayam is a character in it himself. It is full of complications but it will surely teach you a thing or two through the characters.

Nevertheless Swayam and Natasha becomes good friends and shares stories about her family and husband. The story of natasha is enthralling with unexpected turns.
Cafe Indulge is somewhat romantic and has a
suspense aspect as well. While reading this one you'll be glued to the screen for sure. Some parts of it are a little predictable and some twists will make you read as
fast as you can. It comes with a catchy beginning which makes you want to know more about the story. The way of writing is quite inspiring. Plenty of great phrases
have been used which suit the moment well. The efforts put in by the author are clearly visible in the book.

Who is the intruder?while the readers get ideas about the story line, the author surprises you with eventual part. To reveal the twist ,you should definitely grab this amazing book.

Café Indulge is a Romantic thriller. I rarely read romance this year. After a lot of crime thrillers, this book was refreshing. Quoting Neil Gaiman, “A book is a dream that you hold in your hands” I would say that this book captured the essence of a writer’s life. The title and the cover are apt for the storyline.
Swayam Shrivastava is a failed writer working on his new book. His first book was inspired by Sanaya, a beautiful girl, but the book actually fails. He meets Natasha who looks promising as a muse for his second book at the café called Café Indulge. The depth of the characters is developed so well with each chapter. Swayam meets different people to keep writing his novel. He comes to know of Natasha’s husband and daughter. Natasha’s story gets interesting with every chapter. The ending for these characters is a delight to read.
The story was medium paced and I liked that the author focused on giving depth to the characters rather than the pace of the story. The writing is lucid and you can feel the struggles of the protagonist Swayam. The unexpected twists make it interesting. The surprising end is the cherry on top. My favorite part was the lessons that you can take away from this book. One such beautiful thought was there is no coin in the world that does not have a second side. It is up to people who are in possession of that coin how they look at the two faces. There are many more to indulge in this book. I would rate it 4/5. If you are looking for some romantic fiction mixed with suspense, please go for this one. It was worth reading it.

Personally, I finished the book in two sittings as it was pretty hard to take a break because of the sudden plot twists. It's worth all the time spent and of course, perfect to say goodbye to boredom in this quarantine.

Happy Reading!

Cafe Indulge is a psychological thriller narrated by Swayam, a failed writer, who wishes to fulfill his dream of making it big through his writings.
His debut novel 'Mahira' was not received well by the audiences, throwing him into a pit of self-agony and doubt.

The story revolves around Swayam and the muses for his books, Sanaya and Natasha, two different women, but very similar in what they experience in life.
The stories of Sanaya and Natasha are like two parallel tracks which Swayam trods on, to seek a story and character inspiration for his next book.

But this track has a different destination for him.

It takes Swayam through a mysterious turn of events, some of which are tragic, some shocking and some unbelievable!

The author has seamlessly covered inhumane aspects of human behaviour and shown how the surplus of any emotion can lead to destroy lives and make everything worse.

The language of the book is lucid, with vivid characters and a unique story line. There are some points where you might feel lost, but the due course of story will definitely resolve the numerous questions that rise in your heart. The book totally serves its purpose of keeping you curious to know what-happens-next ?

This is a gripping read with vibes of suspense throughout.
It is a thriller and I'd like to recommend this as a beginner friendly read for all.
Trigger Warning: The book contains death and PTSD instances.

Cafe Indulge
This is the second book of the author, although I haven't read the first one yet, after reading this one I am really interested in reading it too. As I always say in my review of thrillers it is kind of difficult to write a review without giving away the spoilers, but I will try my best without giving any hint. Also to everyone who picks up this book stay till the end don't leave it in between, because you won't regret the twist in end. The best part I liked about the book was I couldn't see that ending coming, it was different I couldn't actually find out that why this was happening all the endings that were being framed in my mind couldn't reach to what the conclusion in reality was. Truly speaking I was expecting some kind of romantic triangle or something alike but what was put in front of me did not disappoint me at all rather made my reading enjoyable even more
If you are someone who likes to read such kind of unexpected endings this book is totally for you and totally worth your time. The story is written in easy English so anyone can pick it up and now high-end words are used making it an easy read for almost age group, also as there is no such content it is age-appropriate too.

Here goes the review for Cafe Indulge. Looking at the title, I thought this is story is about romance, tragedy, light-hearted novel. When i started reading it, I felt victorious because it did seem like a romantic novel. as, and when I turned the pages, I could only ask one question, " what would have happened next?"

This story is about an author Swayam who thinks he has failed as an author and lets it take a toll on his life. Trust is the key to every relationship; when broken, the ripple effect can render one helpless.

All in all, a good read over a coffee :) I could imagine a Bollywood sequence in my mind while reading it. There is improvement

Uniqueness
I would not say the story is unique but definitely catches your attention.
Predictability
Definitely not predictable. You will keep guessing the next plot.
Writing style
The writing style is straightforward, which makes for an easy read.
Entertaining
Since the writing style is effortless, it made the reading experience remarkably, and the story kept me entertained.
Verdict
Good storyline, unpredictable plot, but needs a bit more proofreading as I could see some missing words and felt some lines were missing at the end.

Café indulge by Praveer Kumar is a story of two women and the protagonist, who helps to bind their stories together.

The protagonist, Swayam has published his first book,Mahira. About two years, he worked hard and tried to contact the best publishers but it didn't really work well. On the other hand, Natasha, his neighbour is going through a rough mental condition. And at, Café Indulge, it's all started to bloom.

An amazing storyline is the asset of this book. Adding a pinch of thrill with romance had made the story intriguing. I can't really say that "I was sticked to this but" at few places the story is predictable and but in some places I have to chase the story!

I have to admire author's work on the character development. The characters are raw and completely inspired from real life.

As I give importance to the writing style, I want to say that I like this writing of the author. It seems like author loves to play with words, and he has penned it down here nicely.

If you are someone who loves short but good enough books to make your quarantine days better , go for this one.

It is an interesting story with a great fog of mystery surrounding it.
It's the story of a failed writer Swayam, who meets a girl who might have his next story within her grasp. Searching for story, building a character Swayam gets really close to Natasha. But beneath the play of friendship there's something more or is there? Uncertain of his feelings for Natasha, Swayam is constantly reminded of Sanaya, his muse for his first book Mahira. His obsession with that book and it's failure resulted in something which Swayam wishes he could change.

Before he can even get a hold of his feelings for Natasha everything comes crashing down. Turns out Natasha wasn't an open book and when faced with questions about her life, he wonders if he ever knew her at all.

What is Natasha's past? Who can be trusted? Why is Natasha such a mystery? What trouble has his new friend landed in?
This book has a surprise reserved for you at every corner.

Searching for a story when Swayam becomes a part of it, his whole life turns upside down.
A wonderful read for mystery lovers with a fitting yet unimaginable end. A novel that exceeded my expectations.

Swayam protagonist of the story, is very ambitious and aspires to become a great writer. But there's a glitch. After the failure of his first novel 'Mahira', he becomes frustrated. He yearns for success badly, so much so that he's constantly looking for a muse in the lives of those surrounding him. This is where Natasha and Sanaya come into the picture. Natasha's past incidents continue to haunt her in the present and Sanaya, beautiful and charming, is like a glimmer of hope in the midst of agony in Swayam's life. Their lives are entangled to one another. What will happen now?

It's a combination of revenge and mystery and it's full of twists and turns. The language is simple and the story is fast paced seen from the eyes of Swayam.

Did Swayam become successful in his life or not? Or did his imagination fail him with a new hero next door? Let's see how the tables turn.

If you're a sucker for thriller, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS. It's one of those novels which makes you all hyped up, perplexed and intrigues us to find the answers. It's amazing. Crazy good. I was awed. Good read. Worth it!

Café Indulge by Praveer Kumar is a magnificent book in psychological romantic thriller genre. There are so many twists and turns in this story and kept me hooked till the end. Swayam is an aspiring writer, he feels so much depressed because of the failure of his first book namely, Mahira. Swayam has a neighbor namely, Natasha, who has a terrible past. Swayam has conscience that there is a mystery behind Natasha. Swayam manages to find truth of Natasha and he discovers several new things related to her. This decision of Swayam changed his life forever. There's one more character in the story, Sanaya Kriti, she loved Swayam but he rejected her by saying that she was just a muse to him. The book is fast paced and is impeccable from all the aspects. The author has put wonderful efforts to pen this mesmirizing book down. I enjoyed reading the book throughout. I look forward to read more books by author. Overall, this is a nice book which is worth a read. If you want to know more about Swayam, Natasha and Sanaya, you should just go for this book without any hesitation. The Book is definitely a page turner which won't let you down till the very last page.

I'll be honest, I didn't really like this book when I first started reading it. It was very difficult to take interest in the unusual story but thing picked up after a few chapters and it became so gripping that I read continuously till the very end.
The storyline is amazing and you don't really see what is coming until it's nearly the end. It's full of plot twists and keeps an air of suspense right from the start.
The author's writing style is good except for a few grammatical errors. He has tried playing with a vast range of vocabulary which I liked. Also, the writing had kind of a binding effect on me even when I was finding it hard to keep reading.
This is a story of a writer who considers himself a failure and two girls, Natasha and Sanaya. It starts in Cafe Indulge and sometime later in the book something happens which unfolds a lot of unexpected events. Read the book to know what happened to Natasha, Sanaya, and the writer.
I'll recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers, mysteries, and books which keep you turning the pages continuously.

REVIEW-
.
1. Pace - Fast.
2. Plot - Unique.
3. Writing - Simple and to point.
4. Characters - Were good but could be more developed.
5. Climax - It was Really Good.
6. Themes - Death, Grief, Depression were touched.
.
.
ADDITIONAL POINTS-
.
1. The Themes used were great but they should have been justified more.
2. The Plot Twist was only seen in the ending.. But I expect a thriller book to be a thrill ride throughout the book and not just in the end.
3. I loved how the author connected the stories, and also how he used the Cafè to write the plot.
4. I loved the Endings. (And that is not a spell mistake)
.
.
RECOMMENDING -
.
1. All who want to try thrillers, also old thriller lovers.
2. People who love simple Language.
3. Every Reader and every soon to be reader should read this book.

Enjoy Reading...!!!

Swayam is an aspiring writer and due to the failure of his book 'Mahira', he is quite depressed. His neighbor, Natasha, is his good friend. Natasha owns a terrible past and she suffers from post traumatic stress disorder due to a catastrophic car accident which turned her whole life upside down. Sooner, Swayam realizes that there is something mysterious about Natasha which he must find out. The rest of the story deals with how Swayam manages to solve the mystery about Natasha and how this decision changes his life forever.
The book Cafe indulge is a psychological thriller. The story started off in a wonderful and interesting note. After reading the first chapter itself, I became anxious to know what is going to happen in the next chapters. Even though it was intriguing, it was slow paced at certain places. The writing was simple and Lucid. All the characters were well developed. Overall it was a good read.

Engaging and gripping. Tossed with men emotions
___________________________

This for the 1st time I read a novel by the author. I must say this has been a pleasing experience. The main characters are three men whose emotions revolves around Natasha. The author himself is the protagonist! Or is he? You must go through the whole book to find out that. I'll keep the review spoiler free. The initial part is more of an emotional journey. Still it never lacks the pace. Also the author was able to create a gripping storyline out of this also. As the story progressed, it became more of a thriller but never losses the emotional core. The character Natasha will seem a bit complex. But you need to reach the last line of the story to understand the characters fully. And also the story digs into the emotional vulnerabilities of the mens named Swayam, Ishank and Maanav. The characters have been crafted really well. This story is definitely recommend from me.

In Book: In this book, there are various chapters and few characters. There was a couple, they had a love marriage and life was going good. Later they had a child. And there where the tables got-turn. There was a man who was a writer and was in a dilemma for not getting his book success. And other characters came as the story had its way.
__
What I feel: Book had a hidden message. Which I found out. That it is very important to balance married life and parenting life. It often happens after marriage couples more focus on their child rather than making their bond more strong. And eventually, they are getting little untouched, and the gap is filled by someone else. This is the thing I feel I must mention to you people.
__
About Book: Book is good to read. I must say it’s one time read book.
__
Writing Style: Very well narrated and much descriptive in manner.
__
To whom I recommend: Book can be read by children, and all ages. And fiction lovers too.

Thrilling read

Cafe indulge is written by praveer kumar. This was a mind blowing psychological thriller.
.
The narrator and the male protagonist is Swayam, a failed writer and a loser to himself, who in search of a story meets Natasha. Natasha is a beautiful but broken woman 💔, who is in search of her own identity. Being neighbours, they became good friends. But Swayam's life changed after the fateful day he met Natasha. Will he ever get the answer of his questions?
.
It was quite an amazing book and would keep you glued to your seat until you complete it. The the climax was literally shocking, you just can't imagine what would happen. The language of the book was simple and the plot had perfect twists. The author has written thr whole thing in such a way that you can't just see the end of it.

It was an amazing experience to go through this article. As I always prefer hard cover books, 'Cafe Indulge' is my first kindle read. Undoubtedly I have no regrets and loved reading the book. Getting back to the story, it can be called as Murder mystery, a revenge story or A story of a man who has been trying to become a successful writer! The book keeps us stick around as detective part of it makes us wonder whilst end of every chapter. But end shooked me to the extent. All I learned after reading this book, is we must value the person at the right time. Once the person is gone we are none to even feel guilty about it. We must value friendship, relations and do not take it for granted. No matter how much hard we are struggling in our professional life, we must be there for each other when in need. Will be looking forward another good reads from the author.
