As a teen it manifested itself under the guise of Dungeons and Dragons adventures. In college it culminated with a Master's thesis on Missouri geography—an extremely boring kind of story. Three decades and several careers later he realized that siren song never stopped, so he began to author books. A life-long enthusiast of apocalyptic fiction, writing about zombies was his passion. Future titles in science fiction and fantasy are in the hopper. He lives in the St. Louis, Missouri area, where his series of zombie books takes place.

This continues to be a fast-paced and intriguing series. Some parts stalled a bit in St Charles, apparently to add a new character to our cast. Grace continues her occasional, puzzling lapse with understanding the changes in the world to worry about whether she abandoned her post in Yellowstone. I also question the group's judgment, knowing TKM had previously sent an assassin to kill them, observed the heavy security in Denver, but decide they will just show up to talk to the company head? I am very curious now about what is going on with Dorothy and hope we gain more insight in the next book.

Entertaining
Ezra and Butch have their rifles confiscated in St Charles as they are hunting for supplies for their boat. Grace, Asher, Shawn and Logan confront the honcho of TKM, the greedy sob killing innocents. Quite an exciting series of events for both parties as they travel through devastated areas caused by TKM mishandling of asteroid that broke apart and hit North America.
Interesting characters in a very intriguing storyline.

RIDgewood can spin a great story
The saga continues in the post apocalyptic world. Pieces of space garbage ( meteor pieces that were blown apart by a nuclear bomb) and spread over multiple cities and states are being hunted down by the company who launched them . Where does it end? Why did they blow it up?

Amazing
I spent the majority of this book trying to remove my heart from my throat. There's so much going on in this book, Ezra and Grace are still trying to meet in the middle, Logan and Shawn still want to get to DC, and Asher still wants to find his sister. The twists and turns in this book kept me reading until the small hours. Bring on the next one.

Still great series
As always, this author puts out an exciting and intriguing story. I never of a mind to skip parts of the book because it’s much too exciting to miss a moment. Looking forward to the next book!

Oh my!
This episode of the series was extra scary. I really wasn't sure any one was going to survive. This series is costing me a lot of sleep.

After the beginning of the book my interest picked up. The mix of former and new characters brought the tension back. Brings across the possible abuse of 'martial law.'

Excellent fourth installment in Impact series! It’s filled with action, adventure and danger! I highly recommend it. I’m ready to begin reading book 5, hurray!
