Knowing different languages can help us in many ways. You know the Hindi language you can easily learn the Urdu language. Through this book the author makes us learn the Urdu language in a very simple way. This book you can read, write, and can understand what's the following sentence in Urdu means.

Learning Urdu in just two hours is a very refreshing way to learn Urdu as a language . Urdu has a been a intergal part of Indian culture but in the recent decades , the language is getting lost as less and less people are learning it due to the religious and anti national stigma attached to it .But it is not true , Urdu is a beautiful language and alot of Indian literature is written in this language.
This book is very easy to learn Urdu. The book is written in both Hindi and English . The alphabet are well explained. If notes are made from the book than a person can Urdu by referring them in less than a day.

Urdu is one of the most famous language out there. Whenever we thought of language diversities Urdu assuredly comes to our minds. This happens because urdu is a very popular language and is spoken in several countries. Many people including me desire to learn the language because of its vogue.
I got the opportunity to read this book during the ongoing lockdown. Firstly I was fascinated with the title of the book. I was really curious to find out how much I can learn from this book in just 2 hours. I'm not lying this book did not dissapoint me.
In this book there are 8 lessons in which the author has described well how can we read, write and understand the language. Beginning lessons deals with alphabets and dots.
The two golden rules of Urdu are also described in the initial chapters.
First one is about it's style of reading and writing from opposite side that is from the right side, and the second rule teaches how it's alphabets change their shapes while joining with other alphabets. Later, it has been described in the book how Hindi alphabets are used to make urdu alphabets. In the ending lessons it has been explained how can we read and speak the sentences and poetry in Urdu.
It would be partially wrong to say that we can learn Urdu in just 2 hours but this book assuredly carries value. We can't become scholar of this language in just 2 hours but atleast we can learn basics of it in a very easy and fun way through the medium of this book.
I highly recommend this book to those who ever had any curiosity about learning this language.

Before i begin talking about the book, i want to mention that this is my second book by Dr. Vinay Bansal and i really really love his work. Both the books i've read so far are so reader-friendly, interesting and informative!
Coming to the book, i ENJOYED this book too much. Learning a new language is always fun and the fun is doubled when the teacher uses innovative methods to teach.
Right at the beginning of the book , the author has listed some points that state why you must learn to read/write Urdu.
>>The first reason, a quite official one : Urdu is the 4th most popular language in the world
>> Secondly, (and this one resonates completely with me) Urdu literature (which includes poetry) is so so rich and it'd be a delight to read them untranslated!
>> Thirdly , (and most importantly)you can always use it to pass secret messages 🤭
Reasons enough to get yourself this book?
Also, the timespan needed is a really short one compared to official courses. The only requirement is, you need to know how to read/write in Hindi to be able to follow this book. The author has adeptly explained through the use of Hindi words, how to read/write the Urdu alphabet and form words and so on. The book is divided into 8 lessons , the first one teaching you how to string alphabets into words and by the time you reach the last chapter, congratulations, you can now read an Urdu newspaper!!!😎🤝 A really interesting and innovative way to learn a new language that leaves you with childlike joy at having acquired yet another new skill!

Whenever we learn any new language it helps us in self development too and this book does the same for me. It helps us to learn the Urdu language in simple way also at the end every reader surely read following sentences in urdu also. If you are a hindi speaker and wanted to learn urdu then this book is surely for u guys...
The book devided into 8 lessons which basically teaches us that how to read, write and understand urdu. Every lessons helps us to learn urdu from basic to the level of understand the sentences in urdu.
Author starts it all with describing the alphabet and later on through the journey we started reading the basic concepts of the urdu and afterwards we will be able to read sentences too.
As the title of this book says "Learn urdu in 2 hours" practically it's impossible to learn any language in just 2 hrs but this book surely gives us the glimpse of the basic theories of Urdu and also the way author describes it all it will surely made by the great efforts of author. I appreciate him for that.
But if u really want to learn any language read the basics as this book gives you and then keep practicing also the same thing written into the book at the end.....
The way how author described every concept of basic urdu is magnificent work by him and before reading this book i don't even know anything about urdu language it helps me a lot to learn a new language.

This quarantine has taught me how to stay alive in a pandemic by staying at home, how to be happy without going out anywhere, how to keep busy yourself to maintain sanity and how to utilize your time to make a better version of you.
I always wanted to learn Urdu because it seemed unique to me. I know Bengali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit and Marathi. All these languages reflect the differences in cultures and aura.
Learn Urdu in Just two hours by Dr. Vinay Bansal is a basic book to learn the language.
A language is not meant to be memorized blindly. Learning a new language is just like learning everything about the place, people and their culture from where it belongs to.
Similarly, I don't agree that you'll be able to learn it in two hours exact.
But yes, you'll learn something which you'll cherish after the lesson.
This book doesn't take much time to read and the author has used good examples and processes to teach the reader as easily as anyone could.

From the very beginning urdu fascinates me and the words used in urdu language is more of a pale softer in sense and that's what I loved about the language..this book looked like a window to the fulfillment of wish to learn the language urdu..there are several digital platforms which will provide you will other languages but urdu i.e. proper urdu knowledge is hard to find... that's where the book came into my arsenal..the book focuses on the basic learning process that is comparative learning that means it compares hindi with urdu to make things more understandable and lucid..the description is good enough to learn it.. although it is not totally right word to word that you can learn it in 2 hours but it is true in its sense ..if you know how to read Hindi properly and you can utmost wish to learn this language then go for this book...this book is for you in this quarantine for helpful language learning..I can recommend this book to all those who are very comfortable in hindi language...it's a great book for learning the language..go for it..

Learning new language is always helpful in our life and Urdu is one of the languages that is spoken worldwide with majority of people . It's way of speaking and the essence are so attractive and respectfull too. The way of writing is a lot different from other languages , it is always written from the right side of the page till the left . The book learning Urdu in 2 hours of course do not make us the master of language in just 2 hours but it surely clears our ways of learning the basics of this language . A person who will go through this book and will understand its principles and ways , will surely get the basics of Urdu language . This book has been much helpful for me . The author has done a very good work throughout the 8 chapters of this book . The author has also given some good and easy ways for practicing Urdu and it is a good book for the beginners . Overall a good book and easy to understand as well . I recommend to others as well.

This book helps you to understand the Urdu Alphabets with dots with the help of examples and charts. Book could have been better if there were some more pages. But overall its very gud, if someone want to learn urdu and has no idea where to start dand why he should learn urdu. I’ll recommend this one for sure.

May 29, 2020Practically, you can't learn a language completely in 2 hours, but to understand the basics it is helpful. The book not only teaches the basic but provides various helpful and handy tips and tricks to get a hand on Urdu. There are visual descriptions of Hindi and Urdu words that help in easy translation and learning.
The author has tried his level best to make the readers feel at ease with the new language and understand the rules and mnemonics pretty well. I'd recommend it to people who are just beginning with Urdu and looking forward to having strong roots before they climb high on the tree.

It is an ideal book to learn urdu quickly. Although at some places, it was confusing. But overall a nice book and must give it a try if you are linguistic as me!
