I think this speech is one of the greatest speeches I've ever listen to. My teacher always taught me how the transition from hook to bridge, thesis to evidence, and how each part is important. To be honest, I was not clear about how can I make those transitions and bridge smooth to impress the audience. But after hearing the speech from him, Akihiro Nishino, his speech made me realized how those each part and texture is important and how can I use them in my speech. He started his speech by introducing himself and his life and dream. And then how his friends are unique and funny. Suddenly, he turns serious and talking about his main message, "we can change the past but not the future". I was impressed that what he talked about before, about his friend, it connects to his big message. The transition was very smooth. Also, I've never heard people saying that "we can change the past". I've been saying that the past is pasted so we have to work hard to change the future. He said the completely opposite things. I'm moved.
