I bought this book for the cover and another as a gift for my rescue dog's godmother. The white dog with pointy ears on the cover looks like a white German shepherd who's dieted. It is co-written by an author I know and admire, Deborah Shlian, author of Silent Surviver. All proceeds go to benefit rescues.
It's a cute story and it involved rescued dogs, their family and friends in the dog park and out -- and zoo animals. It's a Hollywood story and fast and fun to read. Malibu, California, is the locale.
Buy it for your 2020 election party centerpiece and give it to a child or a parent who will read it to a child.
You will love Desi, and the ants, and their goofy friends. It's a feel good story, all 'round and the third book in a series. Get all three and help rescues and read them in secret before you give them away. You will feel better.
