Men's Experiences of Violence in Intimate Relationships
This open access book draws on a broad study on violence against men, from both male and female partners in Norway, to contribute to the research on intimate partner violence. It identifies similarities in men's experiences and backgrounds, including in their perceptions of their own victimisation. Marianne Inez Lien and Jørgen Lorentzen argue that the traditional gender power model should be modified and supplemented, and propose that we consider violence in terms of psychological supremacy, rather than in terms of femininity and masculinity. Men's Experiences of Violence in Intimate Relationships will appeal to students and scholars across a range of areas including criminology, sociology and family violence, and gender studies.

Standard Do-Gooder viewpoint.
MGTOW, military, boarding-schools, "correctional" treatments? Handling incapacitated humans (babies, children, brains inco pack rated etc) by treatment persons (carers, medical etc)? All these common events in the real world.
This standard book avoids the most inhuman physical violence done by educated power-crazed Do-Gooder adults.
Pre-violence is generated by psychological, sociological and architectural settings. Compulsory denial of peri-menstrual conditions can arouse strong psychology, brutal and cruel physical treatments. According to standard Do-Gooders, the initiator of the bad emotions cannot be seen in context, since the video sample is so short, the monochrome vision was so fuzzy and the audio sound was poor or non existent.
So the Judge-CorrectionsOfficer never was ever in any way, the creator of any kind of precursor to physical action. Physical action was caused when the perpetrator (baby, child, drunk, retarded, etc) acted physically.
All "evidence" is undisputed, since alphanumeric code from the educated and calm historian is always obviously infallible.
This pattern of the educated and "institutionally rational" reporters continues in this publication. History and "truth" is the propaganda of the currently fashionable "winner".
This book is similar to many, including those generated here in Australia. Congratulations to the authors for the stability of the status quo. Later instances of violence might be discovered, such as male-on-male, with boys "rough playing". Australian feminists we're so horrified to discover these mammalian facts. The rest of the world?
