Self-Help Guide Draws From Author’s Story
At this point in the game, probably most of us have considered or do work from home, whether or not we make the money talked about in the title (or whether we work for ourselves or remotely for a company—though this book is about the former). The economy feels like it has shifted, or at least the world's approach to work has. To make a sustainable income, starting your own business (or two or three) seems to be the way to go.
This book will help you get there, or at least consider whether this step is right for you. Drawing on her vast and deep history of entrepreneurship, the author shares most of her story and draws parallels that she hopes will help you on your own path. Sometimes the book is philosophical while at other times, it gets down to the nitty-gritty about how to make this happen. Many ideas she discusses are not necessarily new ones, but seeing them all together in one volume helps you to understand how they interrelate. The writing is approachable and eminently readable. In fact, it was a delightfully pleasant read in terms of writing style and kept me turning the pages. I thought at times that there was perhaps a little too much emphasis on the author's story and not enough action steps for readers. But all in all, I thought this was an excellent guide if you want to make that transition from “work at a job” to “work at home,” or from side hustle to full-time income.

Just What I Needed
Michelle's guidance in this short publication was exactly what I needed. She shared her insights on going from the corporate world to working from home doing what she loves. I love reading stories like hers and even more that she shared her failures along the way. We tend to look at the pretty end product and never know all of the trials that happened before the end product is realized. I also appreciated Michelle's take on reinvention. The world is rapidly changing and competition is stiff but we all still have something to offer...we just can't succumb to the "dip"! Thanks, Michelle, for giving me your proven tips at making 6 figures! I can't wait to start this journey!!!
