It's a bit ironic calling 30-40 year old designs contemporary, they belong to an era before Northern European furniture was defined by Ikea. To use the phrase from a ways back, I'd call it Swedish Modern. Lovely pieces that are defined by the look of the wood surfaces and clean lines. It inspired me to play with clear Douglas Fir as a furniture wood, an underrated material. Nice plans and lovely photos.
