What a great book for a cat lover or cat owner (or wanna be)! I had a lot of fun reading it, as I have owned 8 cats in my lifetime, which includes my own cat.
Everything in this book related to her (Valiyah) in some way or another, and it was just funny to know she is a very typical cat. Since I am retired I have come to know her very well, and love her to pieces. The book is broken into many different sections, with quotes and stories from people around the world, including veterinarians. Sections like, "The Mind of a Cat", "The Language of Cats", "Cat and...Dog", "The Mischievous Cat", "Superstitions", "Cat Naps", and so many others.
For example, Ernest Hemingway shared his home with more than 30 cats; Mark Twain kept 11 cats.

"Cats can do things that are very human. I don't make a great distinction between human and cat intelligence-it seems to be a question of degree rather than of kind" Jean Holtzworth, D.V.M.
"A cat is there when you call her-if she doesn't have something better to do." Bill Adler
"Q: What about the way cats claw the upholstery?"
"A: Learn to like fringe." Missy Dizick

There are so many great things about cat in this book. It was a fun read!
