I really loved that Amelia and Dan are getting married and the Pink Cupcake truck is growing, however I was really aggravated that Amelia took way too many stupid chances when investigating this latest murder and she was extremely lucky at the end of this one. Still, I look forward to reading the next book in this fun series.

I love this series but was sad that it seemed like Amelia wasn't into planning her own wedding. I worried that meant she was changing her mind so I'm glad she didn't.

A Death Before the Wedding earns 5/5 Wedding Cupcakes...Engaging Fun!

Harper Lin has penned another delightful bit of drama in her tenth Pink Cupcake Mystery series. Amelia Harley is feeling a bit overwhelmed and under-deserving of the perfect wedding with all the trimmings, especially as it is a second one and she’s a mother of two teens. But, her BFF Christine Mills disagrees and sets out to help with the planning. Wedding dresses may not be the best place to start [insert exasperating exhale] so, the two friends head over to The Old Barn, a beautiful venue popular with the rich, famous, and...dead! The owner of the facility staggers through the door, collapses, revealing the gardening shears sticking out of her back. Well, Amelia can’t have the wedding here... Using a third-person narrative, Harper Lin’s well-written drama challenged my inner Sherlock with a few twists and misdirections, but in the end? A surprising “why didn’t I see that?” ending. She also entertained with descriptions and dialogue to clearly depict the settings, characters, and personalities, ex-husband antics, soon-to-be husband support, mother work, chef work, and walking down the aisle excitement. To make the cozy experience complete, Harper adds two treats from the Pink Cupcake: Cornbread Cupcakes with Maple BACON (oh, yeees!) and Jalapeño Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting.

Disclosure: I received an ARC from the author. My review is voluntary with honest insights and comments.

It was similar to the previous books. I think Amelia is putting herself in danger way too much at this point, and Dan doesn't do enough. Also the deal with her ex-husband is getting out of control. I love Dan and the kids. I'm glad Amelia is expanding her business successfully.

This was book 10 in "The Pink Cupcake Mysteries" series. Bride-to-be Amelia Harley is dealing with a lot she is opening another truck and she has to plan a wedding. When she visits a wedding venue called The Old Barn Sandra Hope gets stabbed and left to die. Amelia is having a hard time getting into the wedding planning. In this book we get introduced to Detective Hobbs. Amelia is also dealing with her ex John who is a real piece of work and I was so glad that Dan told him off. As Amelia begins to investigate who murdered Sandra she gets stressed about all the things she got on her plate. I loved that Amelia and Dan are in love and getting married. I also liked that Lila took over planning the wedding. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Cute cozy

I have read all “The Pink Cupcake Mysteries”. It’s a pleasant and entertaining way to spend a few hours. The eclectic group of bakers has increased by one truck and one baker. It appears to be an additional detective who has joined the list of characters as well. I’m looking forward to the 11th book to see how things progress. Maybe there is a romance in store for Beatrice with the new baker. I’m on tenterhooks waiting for the next installment of this cozy series,

The Pink Cupcake Mysteries are FUN, quick reads that I could not get enough of.

Amelia Harley opens a Cupcake Truck in Food Truck Alley and becomes a successful baker by day, PI / Crime solver by night.. all the while dealing with her controlling ex husband and taking care of her two teenage kids.

Its difficult to not fall in love with Amelia, her family & friends! Not to mention the delicious cupcake recipes at the end of every book

So cozy up with a glass of wine, cup of tea and The Pink Cupcake Mysteries!

Yet another excellent instalment

So good and new twists can’t say too much as know I’d let some spoilers flip and I’m so not doing that you’ve gotta read it and see why I’m loving this series so much it rocks

I love this series and I hope it lasts a long time. This was a bit shorter than I like, but I loved it just the same.

I received an ARC in return for an honest review.
All of Harper Lin's series are great. In this one, Amelia is searching wedding venues for her upcoming wedding to Dan, who happens to be a police detective. While at The Barn with her BFF, the rep stumbles out of the house with a pair of planting shears in her back. Amelia seems to have a knack for being around murders and she can't help but stick her nose into them and try to solve them. In this case, she knows that 3 people were in the house with the rep. So, she begins to look for clues. While this is going on, she is also readying a new cupcake truck, looking for an additional baker and dealing with her idiot ex-husband. Oh and planning her wedding - and did I mention that she is mom to 2 teenagers? This is a book that I couldn't put down until I knew what had happened. If you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for?!

I received this book for an honest review that I am proud to give. This is my favorite series that Harper has written, I just love the feud between Amelia and John, and the fact that her kids are old enough to know which parent really has their best interests at heart. I love Amelia's love, Matt and so glad that they are getting married. Of course, it could not be a normal day without a murder. This one happens at a prospective wedding venue and it is funny how this all goes down. I think you will enjoy this, you could read it alone, but please, please read this whole series. These are great for a day at the beach, think binge read, or an afternoon where you can steal a few hours to yourself.

This was an ARC copy that I received to read and give an honest review for. Each time I read one of the books in this series I think it's my favorite. I loved this one so much that I've read some of it multiple times (I love Chapter 8). As Amelia and Dan are planning their wedding a murder occurs at one of the venues that Amelia was looking at. Amelia starts to investigate the mystery a little bit at a time to uncover what truly happened. There were some great LOL moments, some really tense moments, some heartwarming ones and some loving ones that make you cry. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out.

E-book edition review
In the latest Pink Cuocake Mystery, Business couldn't be better. A second food truck has been purchased, and is getting it's final paint job. Amelia is interviewing bakers for the new truck with Beatrice's help. Amelia is planning her wedding to Dan and ex-husband John is being his usual jerky self.
While scouting locations for her wedding, Amelia witnesses a murder, and she becomes consumed with getting justice for the dead woman.

Full of surprises, this book moves quickly to the perfect conclusion. Such an enjoyable addition to this deliciously fun series.

I love it! Amelia and Dan finally getting married. This is exciting. Amelia deserves happiness after the first time. Dan is the best thing to happen to her and the kids. And he loves her kids so much more than their father.
While Amelia us out looking at a venue when a murder happens. Then the next day there is no mention in the news paper. So naturally her interest peaked and she felt a need to investigate.
I truly love this series and the characters. The marriage between her and Dan makes it better.
I received this book in exchange for an honest review. The review is of my own opinion.

I really want her to stand up to her ex. He just makes me mad. What a bully. So it is time to plan the wedding to Dan. Amelia goes to check out a venue. While there someone dies. She feels draw into solving the murder. That woman feels no limits to following her instincts. She reacts to her gut reactions to find the killer or killers. Who will plan her wedding if she doesn't start planning. And who will be the baker in her new cupcake truck? So much going on makes for a good story. I liked it.

Amelia has her hands full in this book :)
Not only is she trying to get her wedding to Dan planned, but she's also trying to get a second cupcake truck bought, painted and in business. Add in a murder to solve, and her pain in the backside ex-husband, and it's a wonder she manages to finish anything. But, in typical Amelia fashion, she does manage to get everything sorted.
A wonderful book in the series that will have you trying to figure out who the killer is.

Amelia and Dan are getting married!!! Love Dan. So much happening in this book. There is one scene at the beginning that I loved - Amelia takes charge and does not back down. We got to see more of Dan from a family aspect than being a cop - really enjoyed that. Yes there was a murder mystery that of course Amelia had to get involved in but so much more. Great last chapter. I always look forward to the next book in the series.

These are short - maybe an hour to read, sweet (no pun intended) little cozy mysteries with a likeable heroine. Nothing bloody or gruesome, just a single mom, raising her kids, supporting herself and solving murders. Cupcake recipes, a nice cop boyfriend and a food truck; perfect escapist read during lunch. I've read them all more than once. They are on my phone Kindle and Nook apps, for when I caught somewhere without a book!

As wonderful as ever! The Pink Cupcake Truck is my favorite cozy mystery series because of the absolutely lovable characters and the fun hijinks Amelia gets into along the way of solving the case. And this time there's even more to love with Amelia and Dan's upcoming wedding! Anytime someone asks for a recommendation of something fun and heartwarming to read, this series is my go-to.

Amelia is getting married and getting a new Truck! As she and her best friend go check out One of her prospects the owner is killed and of course Amelia can't leave it alone as she investigates almost getting killing and thrown in jail in the process. I received this as an ARC and voluntarily choose to reveiw.

As always, I loved this installment in the Pink Cupcake series, and I really loved the wedding – it was perfect! I really like the characters, and I felt like I was visiting with friends rather than just reading a book.
