Cradling Time: Poems on Motherhood

Rate this book
There are some moments that we wish to cradle for all of time, especially the earliest ones of our children. Tracing a mother’s first year with her baby — from the promise of pregnancy to the growing pains of newborn life to the complicated delight of growing up — Cradling Time is a poetry collection that brings to life the joy, fretfulness, and prayers of a woman navigating motherhood. Like Kate Baer's WHAT KIND OF WOMAN meeting WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU'RE EXPECTING, this tender read exudes the visceral experiences of motherhood while carving out a space for introspection, gratitude and empowerment for moms of all ages.

What a beautiful collection of poems! Erika Lynn put into words many emotions I experienced during pregnancy and the first year of my children’s lives - even experiences I’d forgotten about. This book would make a great baby shower gift!
