No character development. Not even a main conflict in the story (just a lot of little problems), some of which I could figure out and others I had no clue. Little to no plot for how long it was……..

But hey in all fairness it helped me pass, so I can’t be too critical! Must have reading for prepping for the PE

It helped me pass the machine design exam but the book alone wasn't enough material. It doesn't cover certain specifications spelled out in the official NCEES exam specifications. Otherwise it covers most so it's still very useful to have.
