2 horrible hero stars ⭐️⭐️
So I don’t know where to start. The fact that the hero was a complete asshole and not the kind I end up loving or that the heroine wasn’t any better. She seemed really stupid and without a back bone. She let him treat her any way he wanted.
The plot and the cover hooked me into reading this in the first place. I hated how the hero ranted the whole time how his brother was a really bad person who did not deserve the girl all the while not treating her any better. His moods gave me whiplash. The plot didn’t seemed to go anywhere. It was so fucking rushed. One minute they were there, the next somewhere else. He claimed to love her but his actions spoke otherwise. I have never wanted to hit someone so bad.
The reason I even gave it 2 stars was because the sex scenes were somewhat decent. That was the only good thing in this book honestly.
If all you’re looking for is smut, then it worth looking at but still I wouldn’t recommend it.

I might have actually liked this one a little more than the first because of how jealous he was. 🤡 I just wish we’d gotten a little more plot and had some more info about his dead brother and his relationship with the h. Also… what was the H doing during (sexually) all that time he was secretly in love the with h while she was married to his brother? 🤔

3.5/5 Definitely a guilty pleasure of mine, this author. I liked it. If you a looking for a story with a lot of depth, this isn't it. If you want something with just a lot of smut, this is for you.

Well this book wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't good. I will say the sex was hot but besides that; I really didn't care. Story line seemed rushed, what there was of it. Characters were not fleshed out enough. Never felt a connection between the characters.

If somebody is reading Jordan's Silver books, she/he knows what kind of books the author writes.
I don't like the hate comments at all. So yes it's a guilt pleasure to read them and we still like them.
It's a wicked short story about Gavin and Amber, and as the most stories Mrs Silver writes, he is a crazy over-possessive alpha male.

Loved this Wicked read!! Jordan just keeps giving us all the obsessive, possessive alphas. Gavin is no different, he knew that Amber was interested in him and he knew that she was meant to be his, but he had to wait for the perfect time. Now with the husband out of the picture it was finally time for him to claim Amber and give them both the life that they had deserved. Great read!! Can’t wait for the next release!!

Gavin's a fucking lunatic. A complete asshole pimple bleeder. Complete donkey shit disease. But... it fit him nicely.
The dialogue though... I've run into this shit so frequently, and I can't take it seriously. Every time there's an exclamation point after one of Gavin's lines... yeah, I can't. The exclamation point is only acceptable to me when yelling something like, "I'm home!" or "Fuck you!" Some shit like that when people should/would be yelling... not the way Gavin would. I cannot take his lines seriously.

I find during this quarantine, that I like a nice, dirty story to take my mind off of what the world is going through! Thank you Jordan Silver for delivering a quick escape. Yes, it is full of sex, but that was what I was looking for! Gavin and Amber have a very unconventional relationship, but boy is it fun to read about. Too bad I don’t have a “Gavin” in my life - guess I’ll just have to read about him for now 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is getting 3 stars for being too short. Had a great storyline and would have made a great book, but I read it in less than an hour. Why is this author writing such short stories now? We gets bits of a story line in between bouts and bouts of sex. I like sex as much as the next person, but I also love a good story to go with it. This short little story had so much potential! It would have made a great full length book. What a shame.

What the he_l? What a selfish arrogant jerk. He decides that his dead brothers wife will be his? Regardless what she wants? The story is all about one man hating his older brother and wanting his sister in law. If she talks about her dead husband, he purposely hurts her sexually and claims her. He's despicable and vile. He made sure she couldn't get pregnant while her husband was still alive? Seriously a horrible person. If I could give less then 1 star I would!

Amber needs to grow a backbone and stand up for herself. But maybe she wants to be treated that way? I hardly got any of her POV so it was hard to tell.

Good read. Gavin does most of the talking but his brothers widow also speaks on her own accord. Amber is gentle and explains her thoughts. She does not see herself the way Gavin does. She’s detached from that part of herself.

I love Jordan silver and have read most of her books and I liked this one until the end smh ummm not sure how hat happened but it’s like it ended right in the middle of a scene. Hope it was a error and a new edition is put out!!!!

Gavin and Amber story was so good. I loved that she was finally able to get her happy ending she so deserved it especially after the horror show her first husband did to her. They both deserved all the happiness and I'm glad they finally got it.

This was too short.
I couldn't really tell if they liked each other or not. Had a great storyline and would have made a great book but the end not sure how that happened but it’s like it ended right in the middle of a scene. Kinda leaves you hanging.
