Back on the scene reclaiming their positions in all areas, Menace and Shottas are faced with more heat than ever before. With Menace having to grieve for the loss of his son, it has pushed an even bigger void between him and Kiyomi. The two seem as if they can’t catch a break but will they learn they fight better being on the same team? When lives are flipped upside down, will they even have a choice on their own future together? Shottas mistakes in the past are now out to haunt him. With his unjustifiable actions, Tonii can’t fathom the thought of carrying through on her dream wedding. He will have to come hard, or not at all. He makes his choice but will it be the right one in the end? Continue to dive in on what it means to be loved by a hood menace in this gripping finale.
Grown adults who can’t have a simple conversation without throwing tantrums! All the couples in this series shouldn’t be together…NONE! And why did the book drag this long??? Nothing happened in the third book. Lol and the mafia storyline??? Please!
These couples were taking me through it. I love these strong women. They talk back, but they had to show these men, they don’t just accept anything. These women matched their men energy. As much as I wanted Toni to just forgive shottah, nah sis, take him through it, any other situation, Toni’s behavior would have annoyed me, but if you take him back without him feeling you, he will keep acting up. Atleast if you taking the man back, don’t let it be easy. So I didn’t get annoyed. Also, they were still intimate through the breakup, so it was times I forgot they were even still broken up, because Toni would say it, but it didn’t feel much like a break up. Shottah messed up once, but it cost him also, Shottah was pretty much allowing her to act that way because he knew he was wrong. He wanted her to want him on her own. That’s something else i appreciate about this book. They weren’t the type of men that do wrong, then force their women to stay with them through verbal threats of killing anyone in their path like other urban romance. I love that Steppa and Yomi had a clean break up. (Besides being pregnant by her ex 😬)He realized he couldn’t compete with the love Yomi had for Menance and he left her! The author didn’t turn Steppa into that bitter guy who starts beefing with MC, then lose his life over this woman, and the reader is wondering why is he going so hard for a women he’s been dating for a short time! Yomi, baby, she didn’t play with Menace, lol. I’ve been looking for urban romance with strong female leads, most authors I’ve read, the women are weak and allowing their men to flip the script. If you are looking for strong women who give back what their men give. This series is the one. I would love to read more about Murda and Yatta!
I loved the first book mainly because of shotta and menace. As well as a couple of scenes that made me laugh out loud. The second book was ok but a little boring and nothing to catch my attention too long. By the third book I was over it! Got damn it the way tonii dragged everything out this whole book killed me. Once I got to 58 percent I skipped all the way to the epilogue. While shotta did need to learn his lesson the back and forth tonii was doing trying to see if she could shotta was damn near literally killing me. Like she is the reason I didn’t want to read more. They could have gotten their relationship back on track once the girl was dead and we found out shotta wasn’t the baby father. The miscommunication trope in all the books pissed me off honestly because most of the problems could have been solved if they sat down and talked and listen to each other. I do love how immediately shotta claimed true in the first book. The part with the random sisters popping up and that whole family sage I could have done without.
I couldn’t get with Toni. I’m sorry. I get Shottas did wrong(even though it was out of left field because I didn’t get that vibe from him the first two books) but they were broken up the whole damn book. He might as well had moved on as long as it took. Hitting him with that bottle and leaving his ass could’ve killed him and this whole time all it took was him planning a secret wedding and calling it off to get her back. That was stupid to me because in that case she should’ve been took him back. I was ready for him to move on because sis was on bs. Honestly I was just annoyed majority of this book. This series did not live up to what I thought it would be. Pretty disappointed. It was ok but the females kind of ruined it for me. Sorry not sorry.
This was my second time reading this book and actually finishing it . Toni was too much like i was hoping shotta moved on cause she dragged this out to the point she didn’t even deserve the man .. you knew he wore a condom so the possibility of him having that baby was slim on the contrary of how she treated Stefan , like gurrrrl get it together.. this book actually pissed me off 😂 i ain’t even gone lie now i gotta pray cause i don’t want this on my heart tonight .. great read but shotta should have gave her the same she gave him .. dragging this book out cause she wanna be petty . I’m sick of her but if it’s a spin off ima read and skip Toni parts for sure 😂
Another typical hood book, not a likeable or smart character in sight, the guys are supposed to be big time, super money having it men, the girls are the finest, yet, everybody moved sloppy and was so very immature and overly toxic. When all of a sudden sisters come out the blue wanting Yomi to take over the family legacy with them I was too done. Each book got more unbelievable and ridiculous. This is not it, very stereotypically typical and has been done a million times before like copy and paste, at least put a spin on it or something.
There were definitely a lot of twists and turns throughout this series. Ultimately, I like happy endings, so if the characters end the book happy, then I'm happy. Starting off the series, Tonni and Shottas were actually my favorite couple...BUT once Menace and Yomi got their s#*t together, they definitely became my favorite, hands down. I loved the family they built. I loved that Yomi connected with a family she never knew about at first, and everyone just came together and was just one big collective.
I was rooting for Tonii and Shottas to finally overcome their struggles as a couple, and though they stressed me through the process, it ended up working somehow, and that's all that matters. Tonii and Yomi's lives did a complete turnaround from the start of the series, and I loved that. I was intrigued up until the very end, so overall, this was a cool series.
This has been my favorite series that I read this year!!!
This series LITERALLY had me LOL from start to finish!
Watching the relationships develop gave me all the feels 🥰
Toni & Shottas were my favs!!! Shottas was so funny & serious at the same time! From the very first book he has me in tearsss laughing 😭😭 I loved watching grow from a street guy to a family man!! & how he loved baby True from day 1 was everythingggg!
Menace & Yomi & their love hate relationship made my head hurt 😭 the walls they both had up & the secrets they held from each other were insane!!! They kept me on my toes throughout the entire series!!!
This is a must read series!!! I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish!!! The series had 3 books & I dreaded finishing them because it was so good!! Definitely getting into more from this author! 🥰
“You doing too fucking much, Tonii! To hide all this shit and for what,” he spazzed. “We've been down this road before! Yo ass always wanna switch up occupations and shit. What’s next? Yo ass wanna be a fucking firefighter, like c’mon G,” Shottas went off. I had to stop myself because I
Good: I enjoyed this last piece to this book series... I truly loved how we saw a different side to Men in this book, he bossed all the way up and loved Yomi the right way...even with sister business he was really into helping her...they really made this book and i love the addition of the sisters. Tonii and Shot...uhmm kind of let down, i get that she thought him a lesson and good job at not giving in but they really got on my nerves then in the end it was all okay..ugh i just wanted more from them because i loved them in book 1. All in all a really good series and will be reading more from Ms Coco.
Just glad it’s finally over. Okay there were entirely too many didn’t storylines. It’s like when one would end another would start over. I hated the repetitive scenes between Toni and Shottas. It got on my nerves. Menace and Yomi were okay I guess. I found it laughable when all of sudden she was suppose to one of the heads of a mafia family. I’m sorry like what? So all of sudden her and Toni were QueenPins and gangsta? Umm ok. This book also needs some editor which knocked my rating of it down. I would have mentioned Murda and Yattas storyline but honestly it was pointless. At this point I’m just glad it’s over.
Great Read This series was so good from the first book to the very end. So enjoyed the storyline and these characters and I couldn't put it down. Definitely going to miss Shottas. Really glad that the couple's finally got it together and got their happy ending. Can't wait for the spin-off to read more about the sisters, plus Murda and Yatta. Highly recommend this series. Job well done Coco Shawnde
Beautiful from beginning to the very end...Very well written..Very entertaining and definitely interesting!! Character's development was a plus on most..Ending wonderful and lovely!! The fellas was a mess in the whole series😂😂 Definitely would like to hear more from Mudda and Yatta I have hopes for them😉😉Another wonderful series!!Great Job CoCo🙌🙌🙌
This series started out sooooo good, & I loved it until the ladies got in the drug game smh. Once Keoki & Ladaonna came into the story stuff stopped mkn sense/flowing. Then they got introduced to Yomi & the story really started feeling like it was all over the place. Either way, def read it because it’s a completed series, & who doesn’t want to know how a story ends
This was a really good series. I understood Toni not giving in to Shoota so easily. If it was easy for you to cheat and without protection the first time you can do it again. I hate it took 3 books for them to get it together. We had a chance to at least see Kiyomi and Menace love grow. Menance was the man and didn’t mind telling Shoota when he was wrong. Overall, good series.
The way Shottas and Menace love Toni and Yomi is just *chefs kiss*.
They were so serious and diligent about correcting their mistakes and showing their ladies that they loved them and that they were worth the work.
Toni and Yomi both had to also open up and communicate better. They had to meet the guys in the middle. It just was such a good love story with growth and also some get back!
This was a great series! Just what I loved. Men crashing out, women making them by doing crazy, outrageous, ghetto boss women mess! Loved it! I say Tonii and Yomi found themselves and their men protected them through everything even though they got on their nerves lol Shottas and Menace are Bae
I was so happy that everyone got their happily ever after, but babyyyyy, Tonii stressed me out!!!… She was on her way to talk herself out of a WHOLE MAN!!!… Menace showed the most growth over this series and I was here for it!!!… I thoroughly enjoyed this book and love seeing how the family started to grow and or wasn’t by blood!!!…
I love Shotta. How do he put up with Tonii I didn't like her. And how Yomi and Tonii trying to be hard. Shotta and Menace had it. Overall All Three Series we good. Thank you CoCo Shawnde
I loved this series from the very beginning. I’m so glad the guys and girls got it together. This is definitely a must read series. I can’t wait to read the spin-off because I hated to see this end. Coco you did a great job as usual with this series...
This book was everything and I’m glad that I enjoyed reading them. I’m glad that my girl Tonii got married and was now pregnant. I was happy that Yomi got to have sisters that loved her because her twin treated her so wrong.
I loved the whole trilogy! I can appreciate an author that makes each character an individual. Menace & shotta something else and they kept me laughing while on my toes. You did that! Will be reading more books from you.
Ok I need me a Menace or a Shottas! It doesn't matter which one! Both are crazy! The series was really long but there was alot going on! It was not hard to keep up with the storyline or the characters! If you like drama then these books are for you!
I loved this series but I read laci and quando books first but it doesn’t matter cause they both were bangers I loved how they all came together in the end thanks again for giving us another banger keep them coming until next time on to the book see u soon
Tonii really got on my nerves. I honestly didn’t think she loved Shottas at all and felt like they should have never got a happy ending. But this was a good series and I’m glad I discovered this author, because I love her writing style.
I didn’t like how it took Toni so long to forgive Shottas. That was crazy to me. The baby wasn’t even his. Menace and Yomi relationship seemed to work out after his bm miscarried. This was a good series. This was a series that flowed nicely.
It was a good story. I almost gave up and book 2 because of what happened but You can’t end on a cliffhanger and not know or wonder what happened. Good spice.🌶️🌶️🌶️ and drama HEA!
