When the body of a brutally murdered girl washes ashore, Detective Inspector Burgess of Bermuda’s Criminal Investigations Department has his hands full. However, this murder is only the first in an epidemic of suspicious deaths that sorely tests the resources of the Bermuda Police – and the patience of the government. Parallel deaths in Florida find the Bermuda and Dade County Police working together to unravel the hierarchy of a major drug trafficking ring. Burgess and his Florida counterparts soon find that nothing is quite what it seems. Throw into the mix a professional assassin, a charismatic television evangelist and a mysterious Bermudian drug baron and you have all the ingredients for a lethal cocktail of crime.

Well I don't think Dame Agatha has anything to worry about. Although Bermuda Tourism might just have a word to say about it. But then this is looking at the underbelly of Bermuda not the soft sandy beaches of holiday brochures etc. Didn't do much for me but then I like the puzzle kind of mystery fiction not 'police' fiction, sorry. Still want to go.
