Beautiful drawings of the animals, and fun but informative paragraphs about each one. I occasionally came across inaccuracies, like for example, the mention that Tasmanian devils follow thylacines around while they hunt. Thylacines were declared extinct over a decade before this book was published, so apparently the author missed the memo. The author was also quite blasé about many subjects that are (thankfully) taboo these days, such as fur poaching, circus animals, and animal testing. I'm very glad the mindset has changed about these things so they are no longer considered normal or commonplace!
