This is Book 5 in the True Colors Series. What a great ending to an awesome series. This had a really twisted ending that is the beginning of her new series so that was a big surprise. If you enjoy paranormal, you will love this one. When Book 4 ended, Kirby had gone back in time with Sandi and her daughter, Norrie. When they came back to the 21st century, Norrie had stayed back in the 18th century and Margaret had come back with them. Now they had to figure out how to get them swapped before time ran out. This was so good. It will keep you wondering what’s going to happen and then why. I highly recommend you getting all 5 books because they are all so good. But I am going to miss them! You will become a part of their family.

The Pearl Watch kicks up a notch with time travel adventures.

True Color Series ends with Child of Time: The Pearl Watch. I love how the author uses an alternating POV’s to intertwine the characters from her previous books into the last one. The Child of Time is a stand-alone, but the reader will get a fuller narrative reading the entire series. Allie Marie crafts an in-depth story melding history, genealogies, mystery and time travel with elements of romance. The Pearl Watch kicks up a notch with time travel adventures which I love reading. I highly recommend if you enjoy time travel fiction. I can’t wait to see what the author does with her new spin-off series, The True Spirits Trilogy releasing in 2020.

Well worth waiting for!

I love this book! Allie Marie did a bit of magic with this combination of history, romance, mystery and time travel. It is a stand alone book but also a perfect companion to the other four in the True Color Series. Being set in the Tidewater Virginia area with its rich history is a bonus. Did I say I love this book!
