The Satan’s Devils MC series is not about a typical MC. Oh, the normal elements are there, hot alpha males who certainly aren’t shy in the bedroom, but as well as the usual adversaries, the bikers end up facing some of the social issues in today’s world.

Disability, sex trafficking, grooming of young girls, racism, and overcoming the grief of losing a partner form the various backgrounds that these bikers have to face in order to win the woman they want to ride with through life.
Each book has been written as a standalone, but the best experience is gained by reading the books in order.

Turning Wheels:
Turning Wheels is the introduction to the club, seen through the eyes of Sophie, a disabled Englishwoman who comes under their protection. Scared and nervous, still coming to terms with being wheelchair bound, she is forced into the world of an American MC, meeting the men and learning to trust them.
Wraith, the VP, is determined to show Sophie her disability doesn’t define her. To do so, he has to protect her from enemies both from outside the club and within, as well as help her overcome the demons in her past.

Drummer’s Beat
The president of the Satan’s Devils hasn’t yet found a woman strong enough to be his partner in life, until he meets Sam broken down by the side of the road. Drummer helps a fellow biker, though when he learns she’s claiming to be the daughter of one of his members, he doesn’t believe her. It’s well known Viper can’t have kids, so she must be lying.
He fights his attraction, only admitting he wants her after she’s taken by a sex trafficking ring. It’s a race against time for him to find her, and claim her.

Slick Running
Ella had performed a service for the club, but no one knew how much it had cost her. Slick had claimed her a few months back, only for her to inexplicably leave him. When she needs help, he refuses. You only fool Slick once.
But the club owes her, and as Slick learns what made her run from him, he becomes determined to fight to get her back. The Satan’s Devils are faced with breaking up a child grooming ring in order to rescue Ella’s young sister.

Targeting Dart
A confirmed bachelor, Dart fights his attraction to Alex, a curvy black girl. All he can offer is friendship to the woman who’s fighting for the life of her sick child.
But when her violent ex catches up with her. Dart has to face up to his feelings, and take on responsibilities he hadn’t expected, both in his personal life, and his role in the club.

Heart Broken
Destroyed by the death of his wife, Heart goes on a journey from which he has no intention of returning. But the voice on the phone keeps him going. The voice of a cop who, strangely, seems to understand the emotional journey he’s going through.
Months pass. When he gets the chance to join his wife, to his surprise, Heart wants to live. He owes that to the cop. But cops and outlaw bikers can’t possibly have a relationship.

About the author

Manda’s life's always seemed a bit weird, starting with a childhood that even today she’s still trying to make sense of, then losing her parents in the late teens. Going from the tragic to the bizarre, who else could be unlucky enough to have had two car accidents, neither her fault, one involving a nun, and another involving a police woman?

There isn’t enough space to list everything that’s happened to Manda, or what she’s learned from it. But by using the rich fabric of her personal life, psychology degree, varied work experiences, and amazing characters she’s met, Manda is able to populate her books with believable in-depth characters and enjoys pitting them against situations which challenge them. Her books are full of suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected.

Manda lives in the beautiful countryside of Essex in the UK, the area’s claim to fame being the Wilkin’s Jam Factory at nearby Tiptree. She can usually find jars of jam which remind her of home wherever she goes. As well as writing books and reading, Manda loves walking her dogs and keeping fit. She lives with her husband of over 30 years, who, along with her son, is her greatest fan and supporter.

Manda is thankful that one of the more unusual, and at the time unpleasant, turns her life took, now enables her to spend her time writing. Confirming, in her view, every cloud has a silver lining.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 by Manda Mellett filled with five-star reads. I have loved all of the stories I have read by Manda Mellett, she just brings the MC alive, I had read later stories in this series but somehow missed these, so it was a treasure to be able to go back and start from the beginning and get to know the characters I had fallen for even more, getting to see what made each of the tick. I adored each of the stories but I do have to admit that Turning Wheels was my favourite, I don’t know why maybe it was Sophie, or maybe it was Wraith as he just has this sense of protection that all of the Devils do, but his was so much deeper. But Heart Broken came a very close second, I nearly though that one broke me, I am woman enough to admit I cried a little at that one, but I am also woman enough to admit I cried a little at some of the others, as you get so emotionally invested in these stories, that’s why Manda Mellett has fast become an author I can’t ignore when her writing drops on my kindle.

This is definitely a book that should only be read by those over 18, as there is profanity, extremely graphic and explicit scenes throughout, and not just of the adult variety. If you have any trigger points, or PTSD, this may be a series for you to avoid, but these books are great if you like hard hitting books that are full of emotion. They can be read individually, however, I would recommend reading them in the order in which they were written.

The stories are written from two viewpoints, the MC member and a woman and while you read about their experiences happening, it brings you even closer to the characters within each story as they have to battle their own demons, as well as help others to overcome theirs, an exhilarating ride (in more ways than one) and leaves you wanting to know what the next challenge over the horizon will be.

An exceedingly well written set of stories that leave you breathless and for a taste of the adventures awaiting inside, keep on reading!

Book 1 - Turning Wheels.

The book starts with a girls night out with Sophie talking to her best friend about their sex lives and jobs, you then follow their Friday night get togethers for another few weeks, until they stop altogether when sophie's best friend meets someone and gradually stops meeting her. This is until her best friend turns up injured on her doorstep needing help getting away from her abusive boyfriend. Sophie helps her and then hears nothing for a while again.

We next see Sophie at home in bed, with someone banging on her door to get her attention. She decides between either her crutches or wheelchair to go answer, but chooses the crutches and ends up rushing and falling over. Upon hearing this, the person at the door kicks it in, thinking she is in trouble and after making sure she is, calls a friend to come repair her door.

While they are waiting, Sophie asks what is going on, her visitor introduces himself as Horse and tells her that he has been sent by her best friend and also tells her that she needs to leave her home, so that she is safe, she is admittedly shocked and doesn't understand why.

This conversation carries on until the man's friend arrives and starts to repair the door, Sophie then gets another visitor who comes to take her to see her best friend's ex. It is at this point and after this visit and sophie's demand for answers, he proceeds with an explanation of why he is there and she explains how she got injured in the first place. Sophie is asked to pack some items and after the confrontation between all three men and the conversation she has with Horse, the reality of her situation finally hits home.

She is whisked away and arrives with the Satan's Devils Motorcycle Club and this is where she embarks on the journey that will change her life forever. This is a story with twists, turns, shocks, disappointments, hard work, but also happiness, celebration and a lot of sex.

Book two - Drummer’s Beat.

The book starts with Sam running out of gas on a trip to the Satan's Devils Motorcycle Club, to confront one of its members. Drummer comes across her as she is considering what to do and starts to talk to her, she explains her situation and why she is heading to the club and decides to get her some gas and escort her there.

As she enters the compound, she is watched with eager eyes as she is a woman, but not one they know of with a vintage motorcycle that elicits questions and appreciation from the bikers.
Sam then goes to Drummers office, where she confronts the member she was searching for and explains her situation to him as well. This does not go to plan and she is not believed, she is then invited to spend the night at the club, as it is late, but that she has to leave the next morning.

When she wakes up, Sam is invited for breakfast and as she is preparing to leave, she finds the bikers crowded round her bike, only to find that it had lost all its oil and broken overnight. After a heated discussion, Sam is allowed two hours to fix it before another decision has to be made. Again, this does not go to plan and so Drummer decides to allow her to stay until the bike is fixed, much to the consternation of the other member.

This is where her story truly begins, as she fixes her bike, discovers that feelings she wanted to keep hidden come to the surface, there are fights, agreements, disagreements and sex. Boundaries are tested, broken and remade throughout the story as discoveries are made and life changes for all involved.

Book 3 - Slick Running.

This book starts with a link to "Turning Wheels'' and a confrontation with another MC where the Satan’s Devil’s brought in a woman, Ella, to help them deal with the situation. She ends up getting hurt and although claimed by Slick, she abruptly leaves without a word to anyone apart from Drummer. We find ourselves revisiting her after she contacts Slick again, as she needs some help. Slick ignores the calls she is making and denies her his help (without consulting the rest of the club) in a spiteful manner because he is still hurting from when she left. She happens to call when he is in a meeting with Drummer and so he demands to know what is going on Slick explains the situation and Drummer demands that he goes over to see her and sort the issue out, as they owe her a lot.

When Slick goes to see Ella with one of the club Prospects, she is being harassed by her housemates boyfriend and when Slick sees that he is claiming that Ella is his. all the old feelings are brought back and neither of them quite knows how to deal with it, so when Ella makes it clear that she is not with the guy and gets into an argument with him, Slick and the prospect escort him out and tell him that he is not allowed back to the house. After this, Ella tells Slick why she has called him and why she needs the club's help. Ella explains that she is worried about her younger sister because her behaviour has changed dramatically over the last few months, Slick agrees that he will ask the club if there is anything that they can do.

After this, Slick asks why she left him before and they both get angry and shout at each other, but she eventually gets to the point where she starts sobbing uncontrollably and the truth of her experience, that she has been hiding from everyone, comes out in all it’s foul reality. At this point she breaks down and Slick has to call Doc to come and see her. When Ella comes out of her faint, she finds that she is back at the club and doesn’t want to be there, in her mind, it is the last place that she wants to be. When the club find out exactly how much they owe Ella.

This is a story of revelations, revenge, protection, loyalty, trust being broken and remade, relationships being rebuilt and as always in this series, a lot of sex.

Book 4 - Targeting Dart.

This book starts with a sisters night out where we are introduced to Alex and Celine, they discuss their lives and what next steps that Alex needs to take, to become independent again and not to have to rely on her sister’s generosity for longer than she needs to. They notice and eye the two bikers entering the bar and start to discuss them and what they get up to, both professionally and personally. The older sister (Celine) tells her younger sister (Alex) about the club that they own and that they employ people as dancers and then Celine tries to convince Alex that it could be her perfect job as she is really good at it as a hobby and why not try! Alex takes a lot of convincing and muses on the suggestion while Celine goes to the bar. Alex then sees her talking to the two bikers and before she knows it, Celine has her set up with an audition at the club the next morning. Alex is shocked and appalled at the suggestion claiming that they won’t hire her because, for one, she is a woman of colour and two, not the typical body shape of what they would be looking for. In the end she agrees to the audition and goes to the club the next morning.

It is at the club that we meet Dart and another of the MC members who are going in to watch the audition as they have a spot that needs filling at the club. They know that they are expecting someone called Alex and what time she is turning up, but nothing about what she looks like, so they are shocked as well when Alex turns up bang on time. They take one look at her and do not approve of her looks, not her skin colour, but her body shape, so as Dart prepares to let her down easily, before they have even given her a chance, he goes over to talk to her. After inviting her to sit on a bar stool, her height issues come to the fore as she is unable to sit on it and after establishing that she is not a dwarf and that she is just short, Dart starts to discuss the position. During the conversation, Alex shows the fire within her when she is sure that they are going to dismiss her before even showing them what she can offer them, this show of attitude convinces the bikers to give her a shot on the pole and so she goes up and dances for them.

When she does this, Dart realises how good she is and what effect she has on him while she is dancing and it takes him by surprise, as it does the other members as well. This encourages him to make the decision to take her on, but when she says that she has conditions to attach to her employment, Dart starts wondering why she chooses the particular ones she does, he asks her to go into a bit more detail and when she does, he decides to take it back to the club to ask whether this is something that they may be able to help with.

As the story develops that Alex’s worries become reality, this is where she realises that she has to learn to trust, overcome and learn from the experiences she is going to have and Dart has to do the same. There are hurdles that must be crossed, decisions that have to be made and action that has to be taken. The MC has to decide whether to pull together and deal with hardship, friendship, relationships, sex and barriers to see whether their lives are going to change and what is going to come from it.

Book 5 - Heart Broken.

We start this time with Heart who we discover has been temporarily kicked out of the club after he was hospitalised by a motorcycle accident which killed his wife. Heart is out on a road trip which they had planned and is angry, grieving and lost in the feelings that this loss has left behind. He is just going through the motions, both physically and mentally, not really looking after himself and constantly berating himself for his wife’s untimely death. He is hurting deeply and cannot understand why he is doing what he is doing, apart from because it was the thing that they were going to be doing when she died.
He does not know what to do with himself and so, while he is trying to decide his future, he continues travelling until he can make that decision. There are things that he is remembering during this trip that remind him of his dead wife and he struggles to deal with it, all the while he is in contact with the police woman who has been dealing with the case from her side.

Marc (the detective) is struggling to convince her superiors that the report she has written about the case is valid and that she is certain of the facts that she has written in it. Unfortunately, her superior doesn’t want to hear any of it and maintains that her partner (who is, we find out, missing) is not involved in what she is stating in her report and that she is falsifying and twisting the truth to that end. She is put with another detective to work and sl;owly comes to the realization that he is just trying to keep her out of the way, so that she cannot work further on the case in question.

As Heart and Marc discuss the case over the phone and any developments within it, as they speak, they share some more personal details that they probably shouldn’t and so start to become more than just detectives and witness. This becomes apparent when Heart comes to a decision about his future and starts to plan how this will be realised. He receives a timely call from Marc who can sense what is going on and becomes someone who he realises has felt the same way as he is feeling now and their connection deepens because of this.

As this connection grows and becomes more complicated, life starts to get even harder for both of them and the reality of both their situations strike them in ways that they didn’t want or need in their lives. There is danger, sex, tenderness, beauty and hardship on the horizon and neither of them is prepared for it. As these issues arrive, loyalties are tested and reforged, life will never be the same for any of them, on both sides of the coin and deciding which side the coin lands on, depends on how the story will end.

Seeing Satan’s Devils MC Boxset (Books 1 - 5) had released, I knew I needed to re-read these stories. I have followed the Satan’s Devils through the entire series, as well as the new chapters, and second generation books, this got me remembering how I started this series on Book #6 so long ago and at that time how I quickly realised that this was one series I would want to follow closely and going back and grabbing the first 5 books to explore too- and how I have been avidly following along with each new release ever since.
I must admit that I am not a huge fan of MC romance- or should I say, I wasn’t until I read Ms. Mellett’s work. She brings just the right amount of emotion and vulnerability to her characters- whilst still delivering all the elements and characteristics you could expect from a well written and complex MC story/series. These first five books cover all kinds of topics, from disability, sex-trafficking, racism, dealing with grief, overcoming obstacles, and more. The stories are woven with plenty of emotion, danger, drama, suspense, some mystery, plenty of camaraderie, banter, and of course some sizzling romance.

Each book can be read as a standalone and not feel like you are ‘lost’ or missing out on anything. But after reading this one, you may find you have developed a taste for Ms. Mellett’s stories and will find yourself wanting to go back and read all the other books too.
I loved going back to the beginning of this series and remembering how it all began, seeing a lot of the characters we’ve come to love over the course of the series- and ‘re-connecting’ with them all over again.
If you love a really well written, riveting MC story- with complex, flawed, quirky, and endearing characters, and an original plot- then this is definitely the books/series for you.

This is a convenient and jam-packed box set of the first five books in the Satan’s Devils MC series from Manda Mellett. When it comes to MC series Manda Mellett is definitely a go to for me and I find myself needing to own these books to enjoy time and time again not just the one and one reads. I love box sets so much for gifting as well. What a perfect way to spread the love for an author and spoil your friends. I will give a snippet review for each of the following books below but you don’t have to wait to read them. I promise you will wanna have these stories floating around in your consciousness for a long time to come.

Turning Wheels ~

This one gives us the story of Sophie and I really enjoyed her character so much! She is a strong woman looking to be a great friend and help her escape her abusive man and the danger while unknowingly putting herself in danger as well. When the friend’s ex discovers it was Sophie who helped him, he will do whatever it takes to find her and get her to bring her friend back. When she is taken to the US to be kept safe we are then introduced to the Satan’s Devils MC. Personally, a favorite part for me! I loved meeting them and seeing how things are going to be set up for the future novels to come. I can’t wait to see who’s story we will get next and what adventures await. These novels are high speed and keep you on the edge of your seat as you read the whole time so prep yourself, find a good drink and curl up with some smexy MC boys and fabulous characters!

Drummer’s Beat ~

Yeah I am a sucker for the main character of this second novel in Mana Mellet’s Satan’s Devils MC Series, Drummer. I think this has to be one of my favorite MC novels that she has written yet. Drummer is a natural leader and meeting him and the other men he strives to protect and love is a whirlwind trip much like a MC ride in itself. I can’t say enough good things about this novel but I also can’t bring myself to give too much of the fabulous story away either. I can say this, you have to get your hands on this MC’s series. It is a wonderful read you won’t want to put down and I can guarantee you will want to read them all as soon as you get yourself addicted to Drummer!

Slick Running ~

Wow, another fabulous novel from Manda Mellett and her fabulous boys of the Satan’s Devils MC. I adore the way these book grab you from the get go and never let go! Slick Running does the same and when I say it grabs you, it chokes the emotions from the depths of your sould as you read the story behind Slick and the man that he is. I like the underlying story line that seemed to pop back up from book one, Turning Wheels. This is the third in the series so I would recommend starting there first so you don’t get lost here a bit. It was a nice twist and addition to the story that I never saw coming. Another fav from this noble has to be Ella. She really stole my heart and attention and I loved reading and discovering who she was right along with Slick. I found myself gripped to the edge of my seat and hanging on for the ride all the way to the end and I devoured this one fast. It was like I was thirsty for more and more and I couldn’t get myself hydrated enough until I reached the end. Of course the hangover from a great novel is only to be eased by the next one and I look forward so much to seeing what is in store for us in, Targeting Dart.

Targeting Dart ~

This book is one crazy wild ride that will have you hanging on for the end like its the last thing on earth. I have to say this is the fourth book of the Satan’s Devils MC series from Manda Mellett and you are definitely going to want to read these guys in order or you will find yourself lost. This MC is very much a family and constantly moving and growing and the stories flow from book to book in a beautiful way that can only be seen when reading them in order. I could not wait to get my hands on this one and boy was I right it was a doozy!

This book will take you on several journeys within the MC. Dart and Alex, and Heart all pull at the heartstrings and make you feel as if you can personally feel the emotions they have as you read. I will say these books do not shy from difficult topics and scenes so expect that, its an MC series and that makes sense. Manda Mellett has a way of writing them and making you digest them with a certain grace that keeps you whole even when you feel like falling apart for the characters. I can’t wait to see what the next book will bring us!

Heart Broken ~

With a title like Heart Broken one is going to expect an emotional read, and Manda Mellett does not disappoint with the fifth book of her Satan’s Devils MC series. Please read these books in order and get to know the MC in the way the author has written them out and order because you will find yourself lost a touch if you don’t and I can assure you that this a series you don’t want to miss a thing of. Heart Broken gives us so much of Heart, and wow he is a character that will make you ride the roller coaster of emotions for sure. I couldn’t decide if I loved or hated Heart in the last book and this one kept the same pattern for most. I keep finding myself wanting to cheer for him regardless of how he makes me feel though, a knack of Manda Mellett’s. I won’t give much more away but I can promise you he is one of those characters that once you meet him you will want to see his story play out. It does look like there is a bit more to come of him and I can’t say I am disappointed, I have some ideas of where that could go but we will see! For now go grab this one today if you have read the others and dive in head first.

Great stories

This is my first time reading this author and let me just say that she has a very creative and wicked imagination. Sophie was badly injured with her legs and actually one of them had to be amputated because she was trying to help her bestfriend Zoe from her evil husband, so he hit Sophie with his vehicle and then backed over her legs. Zoe got away after being badly abused herself and had a friend Horse check on Sophie. Horse comes to the States because he does awesome air brushing on motorcycles, so he decided the best way to hide Sophie was to bring her to the Satan's Devils MC and their she met Wraith and the rest of the club, but Peg is the one that helped her get out of her wheelchair and off crutches.
Now the next story is about Sam and Drummer which he is the President of the club. Sam found out that after her mom passed away, that her dad belonged to this club and he goes by the name of Viper. Viper was actually fourteen years old when Sam's mom had sex with him but he had told her that he was nineteen at the time, so she never told him that she was pregnant because of being scared of going to prison for having sex with a minor. Viper was really nasty to start with when Sam brought this news to him because he had a bad case of the mumps when he was younger and became sterile, so he and his wife Sandy couldn't have children. And Sam loves motorcycles and built her own from scratch. She wound up kidnapped and was going to be sold to a pervert because he thought she was a virgin, but she still wound up being touched and beaten by this evil person.
The next story is about Slick and Ella and she was actually good friends to one of the sweet butts from the club and she was leading a boring life, and Jill was telling her that if she wanted to become a sweet butt herself that she would have control over the men in the club and eventually become an ole' lady to one of them, so not true. The club needed someone to infiltrate another club and Ella volunteered, but sadly she was severely abused there and suffered from what they did to her that she had a hard time trusting anyone from a motorcycle club. When Slick found out what she had endured it just about killed him, because he never wanted her to suffer like that.
This next story is a definite heart breaking one especially because Tyler Alex's little boy has a sickle cell disease and her worthless piece of crap husband didn't tell her that he was a carrier and deliberately got her pregnant. The sad part is that her parents apparently paid the detective to marry her and also he kept receiving money from them and never shared with her. They did this because of their other daughter and didn't like the she lived, so thought the detective was respectful for there hoity toity life. Alex knew she needed money for her son to survive and lots of it, so she decided to try out dancing at the clubs strip club. She's short and top heavy and she didn't want to strip naked but that she could compromise, because she was a great pole dancer. Her husband found her and kidnapped her and took her to her parents cabin, and he did unimaginable things to her and left her for dead, but Dart and the club found her and rescued her. The club was also very creative and clever in how they got rid of the husband and turned out great because he had a very generous life insurance policy that helped with Tyler's transplant. Dart decided to move to the San Diego club since it was closer to the specialist for Tyler.
The final story in this box set is about Heart and Marcia/Marc. Heart and his wife Crystal were out riding his bike when they were hit by a truck and sadly Crystal died, and Heart had one of his legs badly injured. Once he got out of the hospital he was doing his therapy with Peg and eventually got better enough to at least ride his motorcycle, but was very sullen and had a bad temper. Heart decided after the club took his patches away from him and bestowed him as a Ronin for six months, that he was going to visit different places that Crystal always wanted to see but sadly was never able to. Detective Marcia Hannah was one of the detectives on their case trying to figure out who did the hit and run and while Heart was out on his journeys she contacted him via phone and at one point realized that Heart decided he was going to hopefully kill himself in the heat and die of dehydration or something, but with Marcia/Marc's phone calls and her telling him of her own losses, that they formed a strange bond. Once he was back and she was still doing her detective duties, she had her own issues from within her department, and wound up needing the clubs security. One thing lead to another and she and Heart had sex and then other things happened and she left the security of the club, but they still put a prospect on her to keep her protected. Let's just say that things turned in a great direction and she got what she never expected would happen. Happy reading.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satan's Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett

5 +++++++ Stars but deserves so many more!

Manda Mellett is a master storyteller and I can confidently say that yes I've read a lot of MC books, and have loved many, but these are absolutely my favorites.

Turning Wheels - Sophie has been through so much just trying to help a friend escape an abusive relationship, and it's not even over for her yet. Her friend managed to escape so the abuser is coming after Sophie for information and leverage. She is whisked away by an unlikely protector to the US and this is where we meet the Satan’s Devils MC. They have agreed to protect Sophie, which comes with many more issues she has to face.
Next to Drummer, Wraith, and Soph I think Peg was my favorite character in this whole book. I had some favorite scenes as well, the phone scene was AWESOME and I almost felt like I was there watching these guys fall out of their chairs. Now I must jump into Drummers book, the book I have probably looked forward to the most.

Drummer’s Beat - This one was full of everything I love about Manda’s books but had that little touch of something extra. I can feel how strong this MC is growing. The strength, the brotherhood, the loyalty, and the family. It’s all because of Drum’s leadership and it blows me away.
Drummer and Sam’s book again, will always be a favorite! Dear Lord, if you have not opened the world of the Satan’s Devils, you must do so, I literally can’t imagine not having these stories in my life.

Slick Running - This one came right out of the shoot tearing at my emotions, and I'm not sure those emotions ever evened out while reading the rest. This one kinda sorta has two storylines, one started back in book #1 and I love the way that was all handled..took me a second and I was like whoa hold on this sounds familiar then I actually went back and paid attention to the times given to me at the beginning of the chapters.
Slick has absolutely positively won every ounce of respect I can muster up, I felt so bad for him because he didn't know the whole story about Ella and what she went through and acted rashly, as well as how Ella was dealing with it all. There are alot of moving parts to this whole book, and in some ways it's because I know what is to come down the road. This is now another of my favorites from all of these series and can not wait to jump into the next story which I will be doing as soon as i'm done typing this review.

Targeting Dart - Wow this book had a lot!!..So much going on through the whole story that there's no way I could sum it all up in this one review, Just know that these first 5 books of this series should absolutely be read in order..There are ongoing stories and issues being dealt with and Im afraid picking any of them up out of order will not give you what you need to fully appreciate everything.
Oh my goodness, Dart and Alex and this club, whew what a ride this was. Danger, heartbreak, fear, bylaw changes, betrayal, love, and a few scenes that totally blew me away and not in the best way. Then bring in Heart’s continued story and I'm literally emotionally wrecked! This author has no fear of tackling some tough scenes.Scenes that you just don't normally have pop up in books, and if they do there are usually saviors rushing in, but she plays these out and it floors me. She has like a million books in all of the Satan’s Devils spread out through a few different chapters and cities and I just can't figure out how she can have this many books and each one is so very different!

Heart Broken - I knew going in that this would be a tough book to read and oh how right I was.
I went from loving Heart, to hating Heart, to wanting to crawl through my kindle and smack Heart, then I wanted to Hug Heart, I was an emotional wreck while reading this. His story spans 3 books, well actually 4 if you count the novella that I'm buying today. Although there was again a whole lot going on in this story, this author found a way to tie up so many things and also somehow tie them all together even if just slightly.

I can't find the right word to sum up this Author’s talent and give her the justice she deserves but if I had to pick one or two they would be Brilliant Perfection!

Manda Mellett is a master storyteller and I can confidently say that yes I've read a lot of MC books, and have loved many, but these are absolutely my favorites.

Satan's Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satans Devils MC Series)

This is an amazing boxset of the first five books in a series that I found hard to put down. It includes alpha males whom are protective of their brothers in the MC club as well as those who they find an attraction to. I love MC club books and these five stories are a very good example of why. Start reading a series that is entertaining and addictive. I highly recommend them.

Turning Wheels:

I loved the first book in this boxset. It is the story of Sophie and Wraith. Sophie is a woman who believes that she is broken, that no one would want her. She is still trying to adapt to life now that she is in a wheelchair. She also has come under the protection of the Satan’s Devils MC club. Wraith is the VP of Satan’s Devils and an alpha male. He is determined to protect Sophie. Will Wraith be able to keep Sophie safe from threats both inside and outside the club? What does the future hold for Sophie and Wraith? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about what happens to Sophie and Wraith with each chapter that I read. This story is suspenseful and also has emotional moments. There are romantic scenes that are steamy and make the temperature in the room rise. This is a perfect storyline and beginning to the series.

Drummer’s Beat:

This is a wonderful second book in the series. It is the story of Drummer and Sam. Sam is a woman who is strong, independent, and looking for her father who she says is part of the Satan’s Devils club. Drummer is the president of the Satan’s Devils and finds himself trying to deny his attraction to Sam. Sam has been taken by a sex trafficking ring. Drummer will do anything to find her. What does the future hold for Drummer and Sam? Will Drummer find Sam? Read this book to find out. I loved the characters of Drummer and Sam. I found myself caring about what happens to them with each chapter that I read. This story is suspenseful, and it finds the club facing danger. The book also has some steamy romantic scenes as well. Awesome second story.

Slick Running:

This is the next wonderful story in an amazing series. It is the story of Ella and Slick. Ella helped the Satan’s Devils. Then she ran away from them and Slick. When she contacts him again, he is at first determined not to get fooled again. Then he learns the reason why he then is determined to not only help her but get her back as well. What does the future hold for Slick and Ella? Read this book to find out. This is a story that has dark moments as well as heartbreaking ones. One of the reasons why I love this series so much is that the Satan’s Devils club is one that has a code of brotherhood and to protect those who fall under their protection. While they may be misunderstood by many, they believe in bringing justice to those that they help. This story will have you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. The wonderful third book in the series.

Targeting Dart:

I loved reading the story of Dart and Alex. Dart believes that all he can offer is friendship. Then he finds that his feelings are deeper. Can he keep Alex safe when her ex catches up to her? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. I grew to care about what happens to Dart and Alex with every chapter that I read. I loved the care and devotion that they both showed to Alex’s child. The story has some moments that made me mad, heartbreaking moments, as well as ones that touched my heart. A wonderful fourth story in the series.

Heart Broken:

This story is one that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. It is Heart’s Story. Heart is angry, in pain, and haunted. He embarks on a journey he had no intention of returning from. Until a voice calls to him from his phone. The voice belongs to a cop. Cops and outlaw bikers can’t be in a relationship, right? Read this book for the whole story. This is a story that had me turning pages wondering what was going to happen next. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. A perfect fifth book in the series.

“Brothers protecting their own”
I absolutely loved this boxed set of Manda Mellett’s ‘Satan’s Devils’ MC series, it includes books 1-5, as the blurb says, “Start your exciting ride with the first five books of the Satan's Devils MC now available in a box set”. Although each book is a standalone story it is better to read the series in order as the characters crossover and past events are mentioned in future books. I loved having the box set as I could just ‘binge read’ them one after the other and having fallen in love with the characters I was desperate to know what was going to happen next.
The series follows the members of the ‘Satan’s Devils’ MC which includes “hot alpha males who certainly aren’t shy in the bedroom”, and their strong feisty women, “who they want to ride with through life”. Book one, Turning Wheels, introduces the club and its members seen through the eyes of a disabled English woman, Sophie who is under their protection. Sophie is still coming to terms with being in a wheelchair and is overwhelmed at suddenly being in the middle of an American MC. We meet Wraith, the VP, who shows Sophie that her disability doesn’t define her. Wraith try’s to fight his attraction but when he needs to protect her from enemies he can not deny their chemistry.
Book two, Drummer’s Beat, introduces MC President Drummer who has yet to find a women strong enough to be his ‘Old Lady’ until he meets Sam a fellow biker broken down at the side of the road. To make things complicated she claims to be another member, Vipers daughter. This storyline is a bit darker as it involves a sex trafficking ring and Drummer must find Sam before she’s lost to him forever.
In book three, Slick Running, Slick had claimed Ella but then she ran away so when she returns needing help Slick is wary. The Satan’s Devils find themselves having to break up a child grooming ring and rescue Ella’s young sister. In,Targeting Dart, confirmed bachelor Dart fights his attraction to curvy black girl Alex. However all he can offer her is friendship as she fights for the life of her sick child. Dart has to step up when her violent ex reappears in her life and then they can’t fight their feelings for one another. Book five is, Heart Broken and following the death of his wife Heart is depressed and goes on a road trip he does not intend on returning from. The voice of a cop on the end of his phone keeps him going though and she alone seems to understand the emotions he is feeling but he does not think that a cop and an outlaw biker can have a relationship, can they?
This series of books is full of amazing characters from officers, prospects and patched members of the Satan’s Devils and their Old Ladies to the club sweet butts. All the characters are well developed and have their own backstories which adds to the overall storylines. The books do deal with some dark themes, from disability, sex trafficking, grooming of young girls, racism, and overcoming the grief of losing a partner but this just adds depth to the books making this series so much more than, just another MC series.
Each story is full of drama, action, suspense and of course romance and plenty of steamy scenes as the chemistry between the various couples sizzle off the page. Each book also takes you on an emotional rollercoaster but you always feel as though you are among friends as you get to know the characters so well thanks to the authors wonderful descriptions of them. I felt completely immersed in the Satan’s Devils world and found Mellett to be a wonderful writer and storyteller. I look forward to future books in this series and others by the author.

Satan’s Devils MC Box Set – Books 1-5

What an amazing set of books! From the beginning of book 1 until the end of book 5 I was completely captivated! I absolutely adore this author – her MC books are by far the best I’ve ever read. They are always different and the characters have their own issues/troubles to overcome but they are always characters who you fall in love with! The 5 books included in this box set are Turning Wheels, Drummer’s Beat, Slick Running, Targeting Dart and Heart Broken.

Turning Wheels
I loved this book so much! Sophie and Wraith’s story was so heart-breaking at times. Wraith was everything I love in an alpha male! Hot, protective, demanding! Oohhh I loved him from the start! I really liked Sophie also, I thought that she was really selfless and I felt for her at times. The chemistry was definitely there between these two as well!! The story was really well written and had a great pace to it! Definitely 5 stars for this one!!

Drummer’s Beat
The second book in this series and it definitely did not disappoint! Drummer and Sam’s story is probably one of my favourites by this author! I was swept up in it straight away and I was really disappointed when it finished! I love the family feel of these MC stories – they are so important to each other and the bond they have is great! They really do protect each other and when you become a lady of an MC Brother you know you are theirs for life! Sam and Drummer may have had their troubles being together but in my opinion they were the perfect match!!

Slick Running
If I could I would totally insert the crying emoji first for this book! What a way to start the third book in this series! Talk about emotional!! Slick is one of those characters that when you start reading about him you really question him and his personality but he’s been hurt and I can kind of understand him but it really didn’t take long for me to fall in love with him just as I have with the other brothers in this MC. Once he realised what had happened to Ella that MC protectiveness took over! The story is really cleverly written as the storyline kind of begins in book 1 (so I highly recommend these are read in order) but the writing is so smooth and seamless that it’s really easy to read.

Targeting Dart
I’m going to be honest that although I absolutely give this 5 stars because the writing is great and the storyline it’s probably my least favourite of all the stories and I can’t really put my finger on why. Maybe I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I wanted or something I’m really not sure but what I do know is as usual the story is excellently written with a great pace and flow. The characters were a little harder to get to know but they were really well developed and I liked to see other characters from previous stories pop up as well. I did like the connection that Dart and Alex had – I just wish that Alex knew how special she was regardless of how she thought she looked!

Heart Broken
This book is aptly named – ‘heartbroken’ – this was definitely me at some point over this story! The story is so beautifully written that it has to be my favourite now! So much pain and grief in this story yet so much hope and love too. Heart and Marc, they shouldn’t even talk to each other let alone help each other out but the connection between them was undeniable! I could feel every emotion that Heart was feeling, the grief and the pain from losing his wife. This story was a real emotional rollercoaster and I absolutely loved it!

Satan's Devils MC Boxset 1 Books 1-5: Brothers protecting their own by Manda Mellett is an anthology of exciting and fast paced biker romance novels.

Turning Wheels tells the story of Wraith, the clubs VP, and Sophie, a young English lady under the protection of the MC. Sophie is the victim of a tragic incident where she is left with life changing injuries but when it seems that the orchestrator of this crime is after her again, Sophie is whisked away to Tucson and thrust into a brand new world. The Satan’s Devils MC takes crimes against women seriously and when another threat to Sophie comes knocking at the clubs door, they do all it takes to protect her at great cost to themselves. This is an excellent introduction into the world of the MC and I couldn’t wait to start the second one! Fans of Son’s of Anarchy will love this series.

Drummer’s Beat is the second book in this series and follows the Sam, a young woman who shows up at the club with a big announcement, and Drummer, the Clubs President. Initially hesitant to let Sam near the club the Prez changes his mind and then when a threat is made to her safety, they club have no choice but to take steps to protect one of their own, even if it means working with the enemy. These stories are quite hard hitting and although they show the bikers as strong, protective alphas the women in these books are also strong, determined and brave. I really enjoyed getting to know the characters more in this book.

Slick Running is Slick and Ella’s story. Ella was first introduced in book 1 when she done a massive favour to the club at great personal risk, she didn’t walk away unscathed which also meant leaving on bad terms with Slick. However, when Ella needs help with a family issue the club are more than willing to step up and help her. Especially when it turns out that there is a child grooming ring on their doorstep. The club have to fight to clean up their city while also dealing with a tragic situation happening on their own doorstep. This book was very emotional as you develop a bond with the characters over the first two books.

Targeting Dart is the tale of Dart, a confirmed bachelor and Alex, a young mum who is down on her luck and in need of a job. When Alex starts to dance at the clubs strip club no one thinks she will fit in however her talent and determination have the customers shouting for more. Unfortunately, Alex is in danger from her past and as much as Dart tries to fight it he can’t let her go. This story was slightly different from the others as a lot of the action takes place in a different chapter of the club, I am really looking forward to getting to know more about the San Diego MC.

Heart Broken is Heart and Marc’s story. Heart is devastated after the death of his wife Crystal, he cant stand to be around his brothers or his daughter, Amy. After an incident at Satan’s Angels, the strip bar owned by the club, Heart is given the option of leaving in bad standing or going Ronin, out on his own for 6 months with no affiliation with the club until her turns his life around. He choses the latter. During this time he gets to know the detective who has been investigating his wife’s death but he doesn’t expect to ever be able to have feelings for another woman again, especially a cop! The Satan’s Devils MC is a fantastic series. Each book gives you more insight into the dynamics of the club and I cannot wait to keep reading the rest of the books in this series.

Manda Mellett most definitely has a knack for writing the most powerful stories through each and every one of these books. These books stay true to the real world that you can hardly tell that you’re reading a book. They all grip your attention so much so that it should be a movie or few.
I love the way Manda Mellett writes because it offers different perspectives and opens your eyes to different outlooks on lives. Great work!
In “Turning Wheels,” we meet the guys of the MC and Sophie, a disabled Englishwoman battling inner insecurities and external forces to get her. Frightened, wheelchair bound, Sophie turns to the club to protect her from those out to get her. Wraith, the club’s vice president, is out to show Sophie she’s more than defined by her disability but other than protecting her, he has to help her overcome her past. This is a beautiful book.
In the second book, “Drummer’s Beat,” this action-packed book will keep you on the edge of your toes. President of Satan’s Devils, Drummer has been unlucky in love but that is until he meets Sam on the side of the road. He doesn’t believe Sam as she’s on a search to find her biological dad who happens to be a member of his very own club. It’s a race against time as Sam gets abducted into a sex trafficking ring to rescue the girl of his dreams. This one will keep you hooked as the romance is steamy and the action is packed.
In the third book, “Slick Running,” we find Ella who used to do favors for the club in her past, found love in the club with Slick but had to leave him behind. When Slick realizes he needs help, he refuses to help her because he’s not ready to forgive. The club owes her and is down to help even Slick who is eager to help as they’re all on a quest to rescue her baby sister from a child grooming ring. This book has it all and it will leave you praying and hoping for the best. I enjoy how Manda Mellett makes every story not only original but true to life.
In the fourth book, “Targeting Dart,” Dart wants to pursue a curvaceous black girl but as she’s preoccupied with her sick loved one of a kid, he can only offer his supporting friendship. Dart’s feelings are put to the test when her violent ex but Dart has to take on unexpected responsibilities with her and also within the club. This book tugs on your heart in a lot of ways as you feel for both characters. I enjoyed the tug of war it had on my emotions and was excited about this read!
In the final book, “Heart Broken,” we meet Heart who is devastated by his wife’s death as he contemplates ending his life to reunite with his wife. That is until one person reached out to save him by relating to his emotional plight but as months pass, Heart regains the strength to survive through this cop but their love is taboo as far as the club goes. This was a romantic book that makes you believe in life and love. Beautifully written.
In each and every book, Manda Mallatt manages to write with intent, such beautiful intent that she captivates her readers. I’ve enjoyed everything she’s written. Great writer! Brava!

Satan’s Devils MC Boxed Set Books 1-5, by Manda Mellett. These are the first 5 books in one of the BEST MC Series that I have read.

Turning Wheels
We first meet the MC when they take in Sophie who is on the run from a very dangerous man who caused her to lose part of her leg in a hit and run. Thinking that she isn’t a whole woman and no one would ever see her in a sexual manner, Wraith most definitely ends those thoughts. The entire MC comes through and makes her feel safe and protected. This story was full of emotion, suspense and hot, sexy alpha males. Definitely one of my favorites.

Drummer’s Beat
Finding a stranded motorcyclist on the road to the clubhouse, Drummer isn’t sure what to expect. Being the President of the club, he has to take all the precautions he can to protect his men and their families. Drummer doesn’t ever see himself settling down, then Sam comes to the club, looking for her father. Will he be able to protect her from the evil that is trying to take her from him? This book was definitely filled with emotions and suspense. Another amazing book!!!

Slick Running
Ella is asked to do something extremely dangerous for the club. She agrees because she thinks it will be her ”in” to be with Slick. While on her “mission” something happens and she not only runs from the club, she runs from Slick when she needs him the most. When she calls him because she needs help, he is most definitely not going to blind sided again. When he finds out exactly why Ella ran, he vows to make everything right between them. This book will have you flying through to see what happens next.

Targeting Dart
Alex is in Tucson, living with her sister, after fleeing an abusive husband. With no job and no way to make money, she auditions to be a dancer at Satan’s Angels, the strip club owned by the MC. She isn’t the typical type of woman that usually dances at the club. When Dart finds himself wanting and needing to help Alex out, he isn’t sure if he can be more then her friend. He knows he has feelings for her but he vowed to never settle down. When her ex finds her, Dart knows then that he can not and will not let anything happen to her or her son.

Heart Broken
Wow. This was definitely an extremely emotional one….. Heart has not only lost his wife but he lost his way. He isn’t sure what he wants anymore. He is mad, an emotional wreck and just needs to get away….. I don’t want to give much away but is it possible for an outlaw MC member and a law enforcement officer to come together and can they make it work??? Will they end up saving each other?

This entire series is one my ABSOLUTE favorites. My go to rereads!!!!!! I love Ms. Mellett and I look forward to much much more from her!!!!

Satan’s Devils MC Boxed Set Books 1-5

Just love this series by Manda, I have read a couple of books in this series and loved them and these five are just as good. It is quite impossible for me to pick a favorite. Each book I feel can be read as a standalone but I would suggest that you start at the beginning so you can get a feel of each of the characters and their story. So here we go with book one.

Turning Wheels:
Here we meet Sophie her life is in danger from a dangerous person. Sophie helped her friend escape from this abuser and now this man is after her. He was also the cause of Sophie being severely injured due to a hit and run. He sends his associate to Sophies place to make her say where her friend is. But what he does not count on is two of the MC boys are at her house. The MC decides Sophie needs their protection. This is such an emotional book you will love it.

Drummers Beat:
The president of the club Drummer makes sure he protects all that are near and dear to him. He is not the settling down type, but is he? He starts to have second thoughts when Sam enters their club house looking for her dad. This is another book that is full of emotions. What or who is the evil trying to get to Sam? Drummer knows he needs to work out how he is going to be able to protect Sam and keep her safe. Will he be able to keep her safe?

Slick Running:
This book is Ella and Slicks story. Ella is given a job to do for the club, Ella thinks this is her entry to the club and to Slicks heart. What she doesn’t count on is something going wrong. So, she decides she needs to run. But is this the thing she needs or should do? Ella needs Slick but is he going to be there for her when she calls him for help?

Targeting Dart:
Living with her sister, Alex has no money or job after escaping from her abusive husband. Alex decides to audition to be a dancer a strip club that is run by none other than the MC. Dart knows this lady isn’t the typical woman that dances at their club and finds himself wanting to help her. When her ex-husband finds her Dart knows he must protect her at all costs.

Heart Broken:
Just when you think this series so far could not get more emotional than it has in the previous books a long comes Broken Heart, just to tug on the heart strings just a little bit more. Poor Heart has lost his way big time since the loss of his wife. Not only is he lost but he is mad and that could not be good for anyone that gets in his way. I think out of the first five books this one affected me the most.
This is a must-read series. So, do yourself a favor and grab the boxset and enjoy like I have.

Manda Mellett has given us die hard MC lovers a gift – she has combined the first five books of her Satan’s Devils MC series into a Boxset! If you have not read any of her books before, I suggest that you grab the boxset and do not bother getting them one by one as I promise you that you will want to read every single one of them and then you will venture into the spin offs and once you merge from your binge reading you will look around and wonder how come that the world is still the same as you have been through sex trafficking, disability, racism, grief and so much more!
The first book - Turning Wheels - is Sophie and Wraith’s story. Sophie and Wraith, the clubs VP, meet when he shows up at her house to protect her from the man that put her in the wheelchair. She is having hard time to accept the fact that she will be in the wheelchair til the rest of her life. The more time they spend together the closer they get and the rest is history …

The second book is Drummer’s Beat and it gives us Sam and Drummer’s story. Drummer is the President of the MC and he is a lone island when it comes to women. He fights his attraction to Sam but when she is taken by a sex trafficking group, he has to face the reality and his need to claim her.

The third book is Slick Running and it is Ella and Slick’s story. In some ways it is the darkest story so far and it will break your heart. There is so much more than what meets the eye and Slick needs to face the fact why Ella ran from him and he has no choice but to go after her.

The fourth book of the series is Targeting Dart and it gives us Dart and Alex’s story. Dart does not do commitments and even though the curvy black girl who is fighting for the life her sick child, he thinks that he can only offer her friendship. Just wait until her violent ex enters the scene and all the bets are off!
The fifth book of the set is Heart Broken and it is a story of heart break, be prepared, this story pulls you deep. It is the story of Heart who leaves on a journey after the death of his wife and he is not planning to return … but not all is lost, there is a voice on the phone, a cop’s voice that keeps him tethered and his journey is not yet at end …
I welcome to the world of MC, the universe of Satan’s Devils! Once you enter, you will not want to leave and luckily for us, the writer is giving us one compelling story after another and there is a spin off and now, we also have the second generation!

This box set is the first MC series i´ve ever read and i was absolutely absorbed in every word! Each book tackles something different from disability, to sex trafficking, to the loss of a loved one. Each of these books are phenomenal, and i absolutely recommend reading this box set, which holds the first 5 books in the Satans Devils book series.


Turning Wheels:
An absolutely amazing opening to this series, and one of my favorites from this set! Following Sophie and Wraith, both great characters. I could very easily relate to Sophie, who insists to that she is broken and unwanted. I loved this book, and can say that its an amazing start to an amazing series! One hundred percent worth the read!


Drummer´s Beat:
This is the second book, and an excellent follow up to the first. This book follows Drummer, the leader of Satans Devils, and Sam, a strong willed independent woman looking for her father. When Sam gets caught in a trafficking ring, Drummer will stop at nothing to find her. I was curious of Drummer and his character in the first book, and was very excited to read this one! This book is just as amazing as the first, and I recommend it as well!


Slick Running:
The third book, and an excellent addition to the series! This one follows the story of Ella and Slick, Ella helps the Satan’s Devils and then she is gone. When she contacts Slick again, he is at first refuses, not wanting to get fooled again. Once he learns why, he then is determined to not only help her but get her back. As i said, an excellent addition to this series that i definitely recommend!


Targeting Dart:
This is the fourth book in this set, and my favorite. This one follows Dart and Alex. Alex was my favorite character out of this set, and I loved Her and Darts interactions more and more throughout the book! Another amazing read from this author! I definitely recommend this one, it will definitely keep you wanting to turn the page!


Heart Broken:


The fifth and final book in this set is just as good as the others, and even more emotional moments. Heart struggles with the loss of wife, taking us on one final emotional dollar coaster. I definitely related emotionally with this the most, and it kept me reading late into the night, wanting more! This boxset of the first five books in this series is definitely a must read! I genuinely enjoyed this series and will definitely be reading more!

Book 1 Turning Wheels
Horse is a great character and very likely at first I thought he was forceful but realise during this book why he acted as he did. Sarah is been caught up in this world through association with another. At first I found it hard to keep up with all the Saint Devils members until I got further into the well written story. Peg is detriment to help Sophie as well he's stubborn but helpful. Drummer, Viper, Wraith all the men are not what you expect.
This book has me laughing out loud and blushing at the brashness but also loving it so much I feel immersed into this world I forget the time and jsit read. This is a book you aren't going to forget anytime soon.

Book 2 Drummers Beat
Back on the amazing world of the Santan Devils. Drummer playing with fire at the moment how is Viper going to take this. There someone new in town but who are they really. Santan Devils are mixing into a new teterrioty and again out of there heads of what going on. You want drama, romance, emotion and some dark reality this is the book for you. Drummer and Sam's love and chemistry is amazing.

Book 3 Slicks Running

Santan Devils back i have jumped into this book. I need to know what's going on next in this amazing series. We are meeting different chapters of the Devils. This book has you crying your eyes out. Slick and Ella are a different sort and I've enjoyed reading there story. What an ending. I loved meeting the other Chapters on the Santan Devils.


Book 4 Targeting Dart

Back to Santan Devils here I come. Dart is part of the Arizona Aantan Devils the main foucs in this book and I have enjoyed getting to know him. This book deals with some real horrible issue in real life and does it very well and in light of them shows and empowers those. Emotions run high in this book and I mean yours.

Book 5 Heart broken
Heart has fallen apart he's not himself anymore. I feel for heart in this book he has had a massive change that has impacted his life. Its heartbreaking reading through Hearts journey.

This entire set had me hooked from page one. I will be reading more of Manda Mellett and I implore you dive into this world you won't be disappointed. 5 out of 5 for all.

Satan's Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 by Manda Mellett is a great 5 star read.
To get all five of these stories in one book is great, you can finish and move right on to the next one. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. We get so many different topics that all of these bikers face, my emotions were all over the place.

Turning Wheels: This is Sophie and Wraith’s story. Sophie is having a hard time accepting that she is in a wheelchair and feels really down. When Wraith show’s up at her house to protect her from the man that put her in the wheelchair. The more time they spend together the closer they get. We do get some steamy scenes as well.

Drummer’s Beat: This is Sam and Drummer’s story. Drummer tries to fight his attraction to Sam. When Sam ends up being taken by a sex trafficking group, Drummer is determined to find her. Will he finally give in to his feelings?

Slick Running: This is Ella and Slick’s story. I will warn you that there are some dark scenes with this story. Ella ends up leaving, when she contacts the club Slick is standoffish at first. When the truth comes out on why Ella left he is determined to get her back. My emotions were all over the place with this one for sure.

Targeting Dart: This is Dart and Alex’s story. Dart isn’t one for commitments, he keeps women at arms length. However, there is something different about Alex. When Alex’s ex shows up things get even more interesting.

Heart Broken: This is Hearts story and the title fits. I was a wreck reading this story. Heart is recovering from the loss of his wife. When he gets a call from a policy officer things take a twist. Can a biker and a police officer be together?

This is a must read series.If you like MC books this series is for you. I highly suggest 1-clicking and getting started today.

Satan's Devils MC Boxset 1 Books 1-5: Brothers protecting their own is a box set containing 5 full length novels by Manda Mellett. I discovered Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils books at the end of this series, reading books 10-11 and have also read the Colorado Chapter books and have been desperately wanting to read the rest of the books, so was ecstatic when she released the box sets.
In particular, I was excited to read Wraith and Sophie’s story and Drummer and Sam’s. I have to say that I was not disappointed in the slightest. I find it difficult to put Manda Mellett’s books down and this box set was no different to the other of her books that I’ve read. I think that Wraith and Sophie’s story has to be my favourite from this box set. I was always intrigued as to how this English lady in a wheelchair came to be part of this club.
I absolutely adored Sophie in her book and in the others when she’s throwing around some very British sayings. I particularly like the ass versus arse (excuse the language) conversation.
As with all of Manda Mellett’s book I love the camaraderie between the men and how they are one big family. I also love how they treat their woman (not the sweet butts). They worship their women and would do absolutely anything for them.
Although these books are romance novels, all are filled with drama, intrigue and danger. Manda Mellett sure knows how to write a fantastic story that will have you on the edge of your seat and also drag you through every emotion possible. One minute you are laughing your head off and the next, you have tears streaming down your face.
I have the next 2 box sets, containing the rest of this series on my kindle and I can’t wait to read the rest of this series.

Turning Wheels 4 Stars

What happens when you throw a disabled British woman into an American MC?

Well, you get the jealous vindictive sweet butt who causes all kinds of trouble, the one club member who is bad and a whole lot of culture shock. I found myself getting pretty blood thirsty on a number of occasions.

I liked Wraith from the start and despite knowing Sophie was in a funk because of her “accident” it took awhile for me to connect with her.

It flowed well, plenty of action and steamy as all get out.


Book 2
Drummer’s Beat 5 Stars

H/h were great, flowed well, storyline had a great mix of action and steamy scenes. The secondary characters added to the story and made an impression that supported the story and enhanced the storyline.


Book 3
Slick Running 4.5 Stars

I was really pissed at Slick in Drummer’s book when he went off on Ella without finding out what happened.

At the open we find Ella in a really bad place and Slick and company reeling from the loss of Crystal. As Ella opens up about what happened with the Rock Demons you know why she ran; and Slick gets a wake up call.

What follows is a high octane ride involving trafficking, dirty cops, a drugged up granny and a lot of healing for two broken women.

While well written I just couldn’t get into it; can’t honestly say why or what was off.

Heart Broken

Grief that doesn’t let go, grief that consumes a person to the point of having a death wish and the grief that has you leaving all you know behind.

This book is a stark look at grief and how it affects people in different ways.

This series was pretty awesome. If you've read enough MC books, you get the main components and how they work. plenty of drama, angst, and danger.
Turning Wheels is the first book in the set. you have Sophie, who after an accident, feels like she isn't whole. She's left trying to adapt to being in a wheelchair. She has a friend who ends up in danger and the friend sends Horse to help protect Sophie where be brings her to the Us and she meets Wraith, the VP of Satan's Devils. In his sheer determination to protect Sophie, he develops feelings. you'll have to read to find out what happens.
Drummers Beat is next. This is Drummer and Sam's story. Drummer is president. Sam is part of a sex trafficking ring. Drummer does his best to deny his attraction. Fantastic mix of action and drama! A great addition to this series!
Slick Running is the next in the series. This is Ella and Slick's story. Ella helped the Satan's Devil's and then ran. Slick is determined to help her. Their story is dark. It's emotional . This one kept me nail biting!!! A homrun for Manda for sure!
Targeting Dart is next in the Series and one I looked forward to! Dart doesn't think he can offer Alex anymore than friendship. But he tries to keep her safe from her ex. The love and devotion he shows in this book make it super emotional. And a favorite of mine! This series truly gets better and better!
Heart Broken is Heart's story. he is hurting. he is angry. he doesn't see anyone or anything else because of the grief. This one is one I related most to. the feelings conveyed are so real and heartbreaking.
This series was a masterpiece from beginning to end! Well done!

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satan's Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett had so much to offer! I loved the variety of the stories and enjoyed the individual growth. Having all five books in one box set was great! I jumped right into the next one when I finished.

Turning Wheels
Turning Wheels was the first book in the series. I loved Sophie and my heart hurt for her. Seeing her go from depressed to strong and confident was empowering. There were so many emotions I came back to this book multiple times. I loved the story and kept coming back until it was all done.

Drummer's Beat
Drummer's Beat was an intense read! So much action and steam! I loved Sam's strength and confidence. She is a woman on a mission. This is definitely a heavy read and did also take me some time to get through but like Turning Wheels was definitely a book I enjoyed going back to.

Slick Running
Slick Running had me in tears! So much heaviness and tough subject matter. This was the heaviest and hardest read. I love the writing and the plot, Ella and Slick go through the ringer.

Targeting Dart
Targeting Dart was a great read! I loved Alex, curvy and sassy. She was one of my favorite read in the set. There was still a lot of heavy subject matter. There was a lot of steamy parts while reading. I loved all the twists and turns and details.

Heart Broken
Heart Broken was another emotional read. So much heaviness and emotions to work through. I struggled with Heart but I think he changed enough and grew on me. I loved the writing and the plot.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset Books 1-5 (Satans Devils MC Series) by Manda Mellett. I LOVED this series. I loved every single book. Its stories about members of the Satan's Devils Motorcycle Club and their lives. Its about brotherhood, love lives and bonds that are unbreakable! The first book is Turning Wheels: its about Sophie & Wraith who is VP of the Satan's Devils and Sophia believes she is broken and no one would want her but Wraith is determined to protect her and make her his. Drummer's Beat is the second book and its the story of Drummer & Sam. Sam gets taken by a sex traffic ring and Drummer is determined to find her. Slick Running is the 3rd book and its the story of Slick & Ella. Ella helps out the Satan's Devils and then runs away from them. Slick is determined to bring her back. In the 4th book Targeting Dart, the story of Alex and Dart is told. Dart thinks all he can offer is friendship but when her ex finds her Dart is determined to help her. Alex has a child so this is made all the more complicated. The fifth and final book is Heart Broken and its Heart's story. He is hurt, angry and mad at the world. When he receive's a phone call from a cop he's confused. Cops and Biker's can't be friendly can they? Or even more than friends?? This is the best series and I loved every book! Read this amazing series, you will love it

Satan's Devils MC Boxset 1 Books 1-5: Brothers protecting their own by Manda Mellett is where it all started for the MC. I didn’t find Manda until I reviewed the sixth book in the series, but it cemented my obsession. I am glad that I went straight back to the beginning and fell in love and the rest as they say is history.

Book 1 - Turning the Wheel (Satan’s Devils MC) - Sophie and Wraith’s story
Book 2 - Drummer’s Beat (Satan’s Devils MC) - Sam and Drummer’s story
Book 3 - Slick Running (Satan’s Devils MC) - Ella and Slick’s story
Book 4 - Targeting Dart (Satan’s Devils MC) - Dart and Alex’s story
Book 5 - Heart Broken (Satan’s Devils MC) - Heart’s story

Each book is about a member of the MC and enemies and the women who have come into their lives. Each one is an alpha male and sexy and each woman has been broken but come out strong. With each woman comes major problems to the club but they always band together as brothers and make sure no one will hurt them again. Lives will be lost, hearts broken, violence is a given, danger is bound, and love is powerful. There are many laughs and lots of tears along each journey.

It is no surprise when I say that I absolutely love this series and the offshoot series. I am addicted.

What a delicious set MC books! The Satan’s Devils MC Box Set Books 1-5 by Manda Mellett is a great series! 5 men who learn what love is and 5 women who learn how to deserve the men in their lives. First up we have Wraith and Sophie. Sophie needed protection because someone was after her in England and she needed a place to hide out so she came to the Satan’s Devils after her legs had been run over. Then there is Drummer and Sam. Drummer is the President of the Satan’s Devils. Sam comes to the club with a secret and with stalker. Next comes Slick and Ella. Ella is trying to stop her sister from getting caught up in a child trafficking ring and Slick is right there to help. Alex is a dark girl that Dart tries to hide his attraction for. However when, her ex come back to hurt her, Dart knows what he has to do. And finally, we have Heart. Heart is a bit of a tragic story as his beloved wife dies. And the only person that helps him cope is a cop. How do they make that work? This was such a great series that I might just read it again! There was so much emotion and so many twists and turns that you wouldn’t expect. The sexy scenes were oh so steamy! I would definitely recommend this series to anyone! Even those who don’t necessarily read MC books.

Satan’s Devils MC Boxset 1 Books 1-5: Brothers protecting their own is a wonderfully written MC series by Manda Mellett. Like other MC books, these stories are full of the sexy, hot, dominant men that deal with day to day club tasks. What I really like about this series is that each story deals with deeper issues, some that wouldn’t expect alpha males to deal with. Another great thing about this series is that each story can be read on their own but they are the best when reading one after the other.

My favorite story out of box set is Drummer’s Beat. Drummer is the president of the Satan’s Devils MC. He hasn’t been able to find an old lady...until Sam. Same broke down on the side of the road and Drummer helped her. Sam claims she is the daughter of Viper, but they all know he can’t have kids so Drummer is skeptical. When Sam is taken by sex trafficking ring, Drummer is determined to find her and claim her before it’s too late. One of the reasons I enjoyed this book the most is because of how the author deals with such a real life issue, sex trafficking. The chemistry between Drummer and Sam is another reason why I loved this story.

I was so excited to get my hands on this box set!! I have read a lot of the MC books by Manda Mellet but I had not read these five until now. I enjoyed every single one of these stories, I don't think I could pick a favorite because each of them are special in their own unique way. I was most excited to read about Sophie and Wraith's story, and Drummer and Sam's but I did fall in love with every story. Of course each of these books has hot biker guys but they also have so much more. Each story took me on an emotional rollercoaster with its action, danger, suspense, drama, friendship, and love. Manda Mellett has become one of my favorite authors because of her extraordinary gift in telling a wonderful and intriguing story, as soon as you start reading one of her books you won't be able to put it down. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this entire box set. I highly recommend this box set.

This is a great set of books! You really get what you pay for. Each one is an individual story usually with a background story that takes off in the next book. I loved getting to know these characters better. This is the first time I have read books 1-5. Each one impressed me more and more. My favorite might be Dart’s, Slick’s or Wraiths...wait I should add Drum’s because that one is filled with deep feelings and surprises. I have never felt a connection to Slick or Dart while reading the rest of this series. So now it’s funny that those are a couple of my favs now. (Rock Bottom is still my all time fav). I enjoyed the writing style and imagination of this author. These characters seems so *real I almost wish they were. These books are filled with highs and some very lows as well as a few surprises of two. I laughed, cried and hoped along with Them all.

I highly recommend this box set….heck the whole series! You won’t regret it!

Manda Mellett is a woman after my own heart. I absolutely love MC stories .She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I love everything from the hot alpha male/bad boy image to the drama that comes along with a MC . With that being said this is the first five books in the Satan’s Devils series, each book follows a different couple and can be read as standalone but I will tell you that once you start reading you won’t want to put it down. Each of them have their own set of issues they have to figure out and their end goal is to get the girl. Get ready to be taken on quite the ride. I can promise you won’t be disappointed with this set of books. As always I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

I'm a massive fan of Manda Mellett's books. She always brings something different to the table with every story she writes. This boxset is the first 5 books in her Satan's Devil's MC series and I couldn't put it down. These men are definitely alpha and the chemistry between them and their love completely sizzled the pages. When I was first introduced to this author's books, it was with stories that come later on in the series so it was so nice to go back and read about characters that I've already been introduced to and read about their HEA. Manda Mellett has a way of sucking you into her stories to the point you get completely invested in these characters lives. She is definitely my go-to one-click author!

Who needs sleep? These books will make you forget everything you need to do so warn your family that you're unavailable. Every single book in this box set is amazing. You can see and read the growth of the author as she gets more in depth with each character as we go.
Each book follows a different couple but you do get to see the others in each book. I loved getting to read about the ins and outs of the club and the members.
Love all the bikers and how they vow to never get an old lady and then fall head over feet for the most perfect woman for them.

I laughed, I cried, and I swooned with each and every book. Great series, and I will own each of these in paperback one day.
