No matter how successful one is, no matter what the social status registers and no matter how many dollars one has, there’s always regret somewhere. Blaine, the captain of the Texas Tornadoes knows exactly where to throw the football to get it in the right hands, he can even run a QB sneak when necessary, but don’t expect him to be that confident, courageous guy off the field. Nope, looks can be deceiving. He has a past and that past has regrets and secrets that he intends to keep wrapped up and hidden.

Now we have Kenzi. Her past may be very different than Blaine’s but it’s every bit as painful. Things that happen in your youth usually don’t miraculously disappear in those adult years. So it is with Kenzi. Mental bullying and rejection isn’t easily overcome. Kenzi was the victim of embarrassing pranks, betrayal and rejection from fifth grade on up through high school. As an adult, her insecurities and self doubt reigned supreme. She always was second guessing herself.

The big difference between Kenzi and Blaine was how they each learned to cope and deal with their past. Kenzi turned to G_d. Blaine turned away. Reading Love on the Line will lead you down a path of healing … healing old wounds, healing family ties, healing false guilt and healing misplaced angst. It also will take you on a journey of love…. G_d’s love and how He helps two hurting people become whole and find real love, something they thought they never could have.

🤩 MY PETTY WISHES:

Would love, love, love to see ol' Brian, Tyson and Jeff now ... You know, He who laughs first, laughs last 😏

I received an advance copy of this book and freely am providing my thoughts and wishes.

ONE AWESOME WHIRLWIND!!!
Delightful! Lorana has delivered another winner, leaving me breathless and awed with this tantalizing spin, ratcheting up the determination and passion, laying it out with ingenuity, style, fervor, intellect and unique insight for detail, melding this gem together sleek, shiny and tight. Satisfaction rocks this jewel, bringing it home with such intensity and precision, riding full throttle, delivering one block busting delight. Cognizant of the instant realization and charged atmosphere, along with a slew of astonishing twists and thrilling turns, tests our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. Anarchy, escapades and havoc run amuck, kicking this jewel into a raging tempest, blasting it into a frenzy with a life-altering culmination. The dynamics and countenance in layer upon layer that you peel back with each page your drawn into this web so deep until everything else ceases to exist. Twixt, twinned and interwoven, exposing the heart pounding ups and gut wretching downs, grounding in it's strength and awe inspiring in it's depth. Intense attraction and chemistry sizzles, alluring and mesmerizing, binding them to one another beautifully. The characters are complex and authentic with depth and traits that blend and flow, transforming into genuinely relatable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and descriptions creating a colorful backdrop that makes the storyline pop. Remarkable job Lorana, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.

Football and Designer healing

Blaine Hollis is a natural leader of the football team, the Texas Tornados, but his private life is full of spiritual and mental turmoil due to a personal tragedy in his past. Most women view him as a player because of the string of women he dates. His life takes a major turn when he hires Kenzi Lanham to redesign his family’s lake cabin, not realizing that she will redesign far more than he planned.
Kenzi Lanham also has personal heartbreak in her past and faces her own demons of feeling unworthy and unsure of herself. But when the two meet at the children’s center, where they focus on putting the children’s needs first, and then Kenzi accepts the job of designing the family cabin that is a part of Blaine’s tragic past, they discover that two are better than one and help each other as they look to God for healing for their souls.
Love on the Line is the second book in Lorana Hoopes’ football series based on the Texas Tornados. I love this story series and can’t wait to read more about this team. The characters are real and Hoopes’ descriptions bring them alive as she weaves her story line.

A wonderful story about two characters that have deep hurts in their past but different ways of dealing with them. Kensi chose to let God help her overcome these hurts from childhood and surround herself with good friends and a positive attitude. Blaine turned away from God and chose to walk the path alone and stuff all his feelings down into the back of his mind, only leaving a facade of happiness on the surface. He's a very successful professional football quarterback - someone who is usually envied, but he knows the real truth. Kensi has had a crush on his for a long time but doesn't know the person he really is and he wont let her see that either. However, he is so drawn to her that he asks her to redecorate his lakeside cabin, but he wont spend extra time with her...will he? Kensi can see something is deeply troubling Blaine but he wont confide in her so should she push him? A very satisfying story about letting the past lie and stepping out into the future with people who will love you in the here and now. I love this story!

Love on the Line is a well-written, clean, sports romance. I'm not into sports at all, but I loved this book. Blaine and Kenzi are likable characters, and I really wanted their romance to work out. Blaine has a deep-seated issue from his childhood that keeps him from connecting with people. Kenzi is lacking self-confidence in her new career as an interior designer. Reading how they helped the other, and how their faith impacted them was a joy. I was delighted to see that the football team is still involved in the community center for the kids. There are some very tender moments, some heart-breaking ones, and some scorching hot kisses in the book. The story finishes up with an epilogue and a fantastic HEA. I would recommend this book to readers of clean/wholesome romance, to Christian fiction readers, and to sports romance readers. I definitely plan to read more of this series and more of this author's other works. I received a complimentary copy. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this sweet romance.

What a sweet clean story. Sometimes our past haunts us for a long time even from childhood into adulthood. This book shows how it can affect a person and their relationships.
Blaine is the captain of the Texas Tornadoes. He has inherited his family cabin but due to something in his past he does not want to keep it. Seems he can't keep a girlfriend either.
Kenzi has been helping Shelby for a few years now but finally convinced to go back to school and become a designer. Her first job is to redo Blaine's cabin. They see each other at the center that Shelby runs where Blaine and the team volunteers each one day a month. Can they have a working relationship with all they have in them from their past. Can they let go and let God take care of it?

You never know the intricacies of someone's life. It can appear they have the perfect life, yet behind the mask can lie painful secrets. Lorana Hoopes gives us a heartfelt story featuring Blaine Hollis. He is a quarterback for the Texas Tornadoes and seems to have it all. Good looks, great job, what could possibly be the matter with him? He meets Kenzi at the center and immediately is taken by her. Asking her to decorate his cabin is a way to keep contact, but with his secret, he knows they can never be together. Or can they? This story is so realistic, it hurts your heart and heals it back. I love the messages Hoopes puts in her books, each one letting us know with faith, things can work out. Blaine is hurting and Kenzi could be the balm to help him heal. Add in cameos from Tucker and Shelby from the first book in this series, and we are getting the sense of community and home. I am loving this! Loranna Hoopes enhances her own story with a fabulous narration, letting us feel the story as she has written it. It is one you do not want to miss!

Ms. Hoopes is known for her clean, sweet, and inspirational romances, and I am always excited to read something by her. I am not too interested in sports, but that did nothing to tamper the enjoyment I got from this book. This books shows how the past can affect a person's outlook on their present and their relationships. We all have things in our past we'd like to forget, but those past events are what make us stronger. Ms. Hoopes has written a beautiful story full of emotion and inspiration. This book will certainly pull at your heartstrings and you will become invested in Blaine and Kenzy's HEA. This is an awesome series and I highly recommend you give it a try! You will be missing out if you don't!

I was give a complimentary advanced reader's copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

This was such a touching story. We all having things in our past that we carry but the Lord said we are to cast our burdens upon Him. I won't give it away, but Blaine carries past guilt that causes him relationship problems. He had to face that guilt and with the help of the Lord, he was able to. This is a sweet story of redemption and how Jesus can help us to forgive ourselves and be whole again. Once we have done this, we can move forward with our lives and find the happiness that He wants for us and this book reflects that Blaine and Kenzie were able to do just that. A sweet, clean, Christian read that I believe anyone could read and relate to. I have enjoyed this series so much.

I received a free ARC of this book and have hereby left my honest review.

Even though this book was slow for me at first, it was definitely worth the time. I didn't love how much time the author devoted on the back story compared to the development of the relationship. I did enjoy the characters and the author made me invested in the characters and their story. However, I would have loved a little more relationship development, once the characters let go of what was holding them back. I enjoyed how there was a religious element without being overly preachy. It was the perfect amount and added well to the story. I would have loved more dialogue and back and forth once the relationship started developing. Overall, it was a good story and I loved the service and big brother element.

I have to confess that I have come to enjoy this clean, sweet and romance filled series.
This time the story belongs to the captain of the Texas Tornados football team, Blaine Hollis, and designer Kenzi Lanham.
Sparks fly between the two but each has a past they keep close to their hearts. For Blaine, it’s one that can destroy the fragile relationship.
Will Kenzi see the man beyond that past? Will she be able to overcome her own past?
The story is also a reminder that what happens in our childhood and/or youth, will in fact affect our present and our future. Can one move forward, or will that keep one always in the past.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

This book is a quick read but it is long enough for you to be able to get a full story. Kenzi has had hurts in her life that have damaged her self confidence. Blaine has also gone through a very difficult situation that totally changed his life and he lives with guilt every time he remembers what he did. As these two get to know each other the past keeps getting in the way of a friendship let alone anything else. I enjoyed this book and found that it had a lesson in it for me as well. We need to remember to see ourselves as God does and let our mistakes go.
I received a free download of this book, this review is my own honest opinion.

Kenzie and Blane were both hurt in the past, she by bullying in school and a self-centered ex and he by the loss of his brother when they were kids. Blaine feels responsible for his brother’s death and doesn’t feel like he deserves love. He hires her to decorate the cabin he inherited. But she does so much more by helping him find his faith again and healing his heart. This was a sweet Christian romance with plenty of funny, romantic, and sad moments. It was great to catch up with Shelby and Tucker from the last book, but it’s not necessary to read that story to follow this one. I’m looking forward to reading more books about their Texas Tornadoes teammates.

An amazing story of rising above and beyond your past to face a wonderful future. Blaine Hollis is a football player and captain of the Texas Tornadoes. He has had a hard past and would love to settle down like his friends. Kenzie Lanham has had a lot of bulling in her life and can't seem to forget. She is going to school to be a imteratior designer. They meet at Tucker Jackson and Shelby's engagement . He asks her to decorate his house after seeing what she does for Shelby's engagement. With God's help they become stronger. I received an ARC of this book and I highly recommend reading. It is a clean well written story and purely delightful.

It is the first time, I am reading and reviewing a book of Lorana Hoopes but it won’t be the last one, I fell in love 😍 with the sweet romance storyline, I felt part of the story, laughing and crying when Blaine thinks he doesn’t deserve happiness with Kenzy, he has his emotions hidden so deeply, his walls are so high and tightly guarded. But God has another plan for him and sweet Kenzy who is filled with doubts about herself and Blaine. With her faith in God, Kenzy will turn Blaines life upside down.
If you like a book filled with a bit of drama, lots of emotions, first love and letting go of a sad past, you are in for a great reading. I can’t wait to read the next book in this serie.

Another winner by Lorana Hoopes!
I enjoyed this as much as book 1 in this series, even though you can read this without the first one, but I enjoyed the continuing story.
Blaine is the QB of the TX Tornadoes and has been volunteering at the Community Center with Tucker. He asked Kenzi to redecorate his cabin and started to fall for her even though he didn't ever get close to anyone because of something from his past.
I enjoyed how Kenzi helped Blaine work through his past and allowed him to have many types of relationships. It was a beautiful story and I can't wait for the next book to hear about Mason's story! I highly recommend this book!

Love on the Line: Sweet, Christian Football Romance: (A Texas Tornados Single Author Sports Romance Book 3)

Jude 💜s books.

LOVE on the LINE, conquers the past.

Lorana has written another really lovely, clean Christian based love story. This book was sad, delightful, had me teared up, and cheering them on.

Kenzie and Blane, both have deep scars from their pasts.
How can they resolved so that they can grow, and become the people, that they should be.
When things look impossible to resolve,
Love conquers all.

Please read the authors introduction blurb, for more information about the book.

This is one of Lorana Hoopes best books IMO. She has developed characters with such depth that your heart aches for some of their past troubles. Lexi and Blaine are the main characters in this book and their pasts will probably resonate with more than a few of us. However, who they have become will grab your interest and keep you reading through the final page. A very good and well written story Lorana Hoopes.

I did receive an ARC copy of this book. This is my voluntary and completely honest review.

I received an ARC to review: the second in the Texas Tornados series, but enjoyable as a stand-alone story, Love on the Line is a feel-good love story that extends deeper than just the surface. Blaine and Kenzi face some real issues that would have continued to hinder their relationships had they not opened these deep wounds to God and allowed Him to heal and restore. A delightful inspirational romance, with a touch of football and interior design thrown in - worth reading for the nourishment of both mind and soul.

A wonderful story of forgiveness, healing and love. Being able to forgive yourself for a past mistake and realize God was right there all along to heal the hurt and begin restoration. Could Blake get over his past letting go to move on and trust himself to actually have a relationship? Could Kenzi get past her past relationship failures and trust again enough to give someone else a chance? Read this enjoyable story and find out. I highly recommend this book by Lorana Hoopes.

I received a copy from the author at no cost to me and this is my honest opinion.

Meet Blaine and Kenzie. He's a successful football quarterback. She's an up and coming interior designer. How can these two worlds ever collide? Introducing Tucker, a member of Blaine's team who wants to help underprivileged children as he falls in love with the struggling boys and girls club organizer. Tucker invites his team members to help with children's clinics and a Christmas party. Can Kenzie and Blaine help eachother? What about romance? Does happily ever after really happen? Find out in this fantastic book:) I highly recommend it! Happy Reading!

Blaine and Kenzie's story was a quick, sweet read. He's a professional football QB, and she finds her passion in interior design. It was heart-warming watching them fall in love, even as they learn secrets from the past. I love how the author portrays Blaine as a strong man, struggling with, though eventually resolving his faith. This book has both Blaine and Kenzie doing community outreach with under-served children, which also provides sweet moments. It had all the warm fuzzies I love in a book.

God heals broken hearts

I would recommend this story to am to anyone who likes romance and will at least concede there is a God.
Blaine and Kenai are attracted to each other from the beginning, however, they both have situations in their lives that prevent them from committing to a serious relationship. It is amazing what God can do if we'll give Him a chance. I was given this book for an honest review. I hope you'll open your heart, Lorana knows how to latch onto your heartstrings.

Loved it! I really enjoyed reading Blaine and Kenzi's story. Kenzi had self-confidence issues because of bullies in her teen years. Blaine was dealing with the fear to love. They both found a closer walk with God and each other, helped them be who they were meant to be. I read this in a day. If you like clean inspiring stories, I highly recommend 'Love on the Line'. I received this book from the publisher. The thoughts and comments are my own.

God has gorgiven you, so why don't you forgive yourself?
Such a common occurrence, no matter hpw big or small the mistake might be, almost everyone has something thst they can't or won't forgive themselves for.
Lorana has dealt with this in such a heartbreaking yet beautiful story in Love on the Line.
There is both Biblical beauty and sweet romance to be gotten out of this book.
It's definitely worth reading.

This is a great book of Blaine and Kenzie's relationship. Kenzie meets Blaine at a charity event at the community center she works at. Blaine is a pro football player. Blaine has a heavy burden he carries from the past and effects his life. Kenzie feels that Blaine can heal from the past with God's help.

A sweet romance that shows how wonderful and what the impact on your life can be with God's help!

Faith, interior design, sports and of course-love! And I absolutely loved it! This is a charming story about Blaine and Kenzi who are struggling to find something to grasp in life. Afraid of commitment and how it could all end for them they struggle to admit their attraction towards one another. But then they discover that there could be a future instead of an end and we find a beautiful connection. This is a story of healing, acceptance and love and I highly recommend you read it!

When Kenzi accepts a job to decorate an old cabin, she doesn’t realize what it will lead to. The hurts that come with the job are a little hard to bear. When she gets fired from the job, she ponders on her next job – if there is one. Apologies come and she finishes what she started.
Hurts from the past involving a younger brother need to heal. Can they work through this? Can she help heal Blaine’s heart?
Another good one by Lorana Hoopes.
