In this hilarious and thought provoking drama, the ladies will learn the true definition of live, laugh and love.

Both women made mistakes that a lot of us make like falling in love with the unattainable partners or hanging on to what used to be or someone's potential and forgetting our value. While Ruth Ann finally wakes up to her situation, San is forced out of hers. The author touches on domestic violence, infidelity, friendship, love, and second chances in this feel-good story. There were a few issues for me in regards to transitions bet, a missing word here and there and odd word/phrase usage
𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬: Ruth Ann Sumner and San Winters are best friends that work together at Smiddy's Dry Cleaners. Unhappy with their jobs and relationships both women have dreams of living better lives. When a set of unforeseen events take place, each woman is faced with decisions that can ultimately change their lives forever.
𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬: 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹 is a well crafted novel that kept my interest from beginning to end. The story tackles serious issues women often face in life and love such as domestic violence, infidelity and baby mama drama. Although the topics are deep, the mood of the book is not heavy.
What I like most about this story is the bond between San and Ruth Ann. They go hard for each other. I found their sisterhood rather touching. And although they didn’t always make the best decisions, I was still rooting for both women to win. I thought they deserved it, and relished in the idea that true friendship would conquer all.
There were a few unexpected twists in the plot that I did not see coming. These unexpected turns made for great reading. The story moved at a good pace. Never a dull moment. No unnecessary scenes, or unnecessary words. The plot was precise.
The book is narrated by Black Mermaid. I didn’t find her voice fitting for this particular book. She sounded a little too old to me.
Aside from that I enjoyed this book. It is a well written novel that affirms the eternal importance of friendship.
Have you ever gone to work and thought "I know there is something better out there for me, this can't be my life!" That is the sentiment of many who get up to go to work every day. It only becomes your passion when you are doing something that you love. Something that you can see change and the benefit in being there. Something that brings you joy! If and when we finally get to that point it is like you are living a whole new world. The sun shines brighter, the food smells better and life is all sparkles and giggles. But what happens when you are blocked from achieving your desired joy? Do you continue to pursue your dreams, or do you just continue to live the life you have been dealt?
San and Ruth Ann have worked at Smiddy’s Dry Cleaners together for a couple of years and they were as close as sisters despite their age difference. While they enjoyed working together, they both had bigger plans than working at Smiddy’s. San was a hairstylist with big dreams of opening her own salon, but her boyfriend Morris had different views on the situation. Ruth Ann on the other hand enjoyed working at the dry cleaners apart from working for Smiddy. Smiddy is the worst type of boss to have and both women were wondering how much longer they could work there under those conditions. The only thing they both knew was they were both going to have a happier future, they just did not know how long it was going to take.
All Things Work Out Well is a book that gives you hope. Both women are strong and determined but there is a man in the way of their progress. They lean on each other for support and encourage each other’s dreams. This book is emotional due to the situations that these women are going through but it makes you feel good in the end. This is not my first read from K. Reshay, and it will not be my last.
All Things Work Out Well is about two women, who are very good friends, that share similar issues regarding finding love, overcoming trials/damaging relationships, and supporting one another with their dreams.
I LOVED San and Ruth Ann’s sisterhood and friendship. They work at the same dead end job at a cleaner’s, and they smile together through it all. You gotta love to see it — genuine love and support between women just trying to make it, even through their mistakes and hardship. San’s situation with her “fiancé” Morris had me HOT! I was a little disappointed with San’s decision making in regards to him throughout the story too, but that’s the point — I felt the author sought to show sometimes how women choose everything above themselves, and how unhealthy that can be. Morris really was an asshat, and that wasn’t San’s fault. But the signs were there with him before she could get too deep.
Speaking of Morris... just UGH! That’s all I can say. UGH.
Ruth Ann’s decisions weren’t much better, but at least she came to her senses about it, even though she knew she was wrong to do what she did, even if Ralph (her “entanglement” 😂) was dishonest. One thing I did appreciate was her reflection about the decisions she made in the past and allowed herself to move on from them as she realized she deserved better. This is definitely a major theme in this book, and a lesson worth taking.
This novel highlights very real situations with how women can get caught up with shit that hurts them more than makes their lives better. Between domestic abuse, taking risks for the better, being a supportive friend, and knowing your own worth, this easy flowing read is one you can pick up if you’re looking to relax and wind down on a weekend.
Awesome read! This Author K Reshay created writing ✍️ of fiction is amazing! What I find so amazing about her writing ✍️ is how it feel and seems to always touch your heart or it has u looking around yourself and self checking because although her books are fiction it feel real with reality of real today life! U might not never know what is in store and designed for u in life but this fictional story gives u the tragedy and hope that all things work out well! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars! IJS RealtalkHelene!
This book was fantastic!!! I loved how it highlights just what we see in the world today amongst women. We as women sometimes put our hopes and dreams on the back burner for men who barely even notice our presence. Two women who are true friends and are supportive of each other in every way possible is what we need more of! Mistreatment and lies told by men they thought they couldn’t live without, ha, all worked out well in the end! Great read! Loved it. Most times what we desire is right before us and we are too busy chasing Mr. Wrong and can’t see it! Showing care to older persons during their time of need is only God keeping you grounded and still makes it rewarding for doing so!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book in my monthly book club. The way that the author vividly described each character based off their alignment with the story was remarkable. You will cry, laugh and probably throw some things while reading this book. It is truly an emotional roller coaster that ends perfectly.
This is my first book by Reshay and I so enjoyed it. Her storytelling style was natural, and the dialogue between the friends was funny and realistic. The plot was revealed in a steady fashion, and her character development had my attention from the beginning.
Black Mermaid, also new to me, did a good job with narration.
Love Love Love! It’s been a while since I stayed up all night to finish a book. The bond between Ruthie and San is so relatable, yet inspiring. We all have dreams...and if we are honest with ourselves, it’s often times fear, excuses, and distractions that keeps us from taking the first step towards them. This is definitely one that you could read over and over!
