A wonderfully entertaining book that challenges our perceptions of reality. The reader will especially enjoy the rich tableau of irony, satire, wit, nuance, colorful characters, and spell-binding plot. Never a dull moment, Shadowdancer casts a spotlight of scrutiny on social issues that are, perhaps, more pertinent today than they were decades ago. The book is written with an authenticity of voice that could only come from someone who was up-close-and-personal with the razor-sharp, fast-paced action. A must read for anyone liking seductive writing without the slightest hint of drudgery. Make no mistake, Shadowdancer is at once refreshing as it is thought provoking. Southwestern Gothic at its finest!
