Bridging the Void

Rate this book
Gloria has found her ideal man. She has never met him, he’s in love with someone else, and he vanished one-hundred years ago.
Gloria Sims, an embittered thirty-three-year-old divorcée, moves to the tiny town of Squatter, North Carolina, for a fresh start. She gets more than she bargains for: a dilapidated old house, an ancient Cherokee legend, and a fling with the town’s womanizer. The discovery of a Victorian gentleman’s long-forgotten journals propels her into a fascination with their author. She becomes obsessed with solving the mystery of his disappearance.
After the arrival of a stranger that bears a striking resemblance to the object of her passion, Gloria is thrown into a mystery that has her questioning reality.

I just finished the book a little before 4 this morning. It was worth the lost sleep. A great old house, bit of time travel, a bit of Cherokee legend and a great dog. The characters were likable and the story moved right along, keeping my interest. I haven't read anything else by this author but I will watch for anything more from her. I definitely recommend the book and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Easy Read.
I enjoyed the characters and the journal entries. It's not your typical time travel. I would recommend this book.
