Melody Calder is a multi-trope romance author with an addiction to chocolate, dill pickles, books, and swearing; not necessarily in that order. Her mind is always full of interesting characters and plot twists. She not so secretly loves cliffhangers and endings that are not the norm.

She hopes to survive the teenage years of her twins, which is worse than the terrible twos, and her puppy who lives up to his name - Dragon. Her hobbies include collecting elephant figurines, painting, and annoying her husband by forgetting to switch the laundry. Her family and friends will tell you that she needs reminders for everything, but they love her anyway.

Book 2 in this series brings more from Samantha, Jake, Stuart and Mario. The story overlaps what happens and continues from Book 1. It feels like this book covers more of the POV of guys perspective though. Which i like getting their sides of the story. In this book they're trying to work out how to have a relationship that involves all of them but outside influences are trying to stop that happening. Book 2 has certainly pumped up the steam level and i can say is damn its flaming hot in parts! Loved Book 1 and one is just as good if not better

This book was a fantastic addition to the story from the previous book because it is mostly the same timeline but narrated from the guys' points of view. It is a brilliant concept because the author did not just repeat all the scenes and events from the previous book, but goes further behind the scenes, answers all the unanswered questions and ties up all the loose ends, and goes further with the story. Brilliant!
What I loved most about this book is that it goes so much deeper into the characters and their relationships as well as group dynamics and the reader gets to observe all the developments from a different standpoints. It was beautifully done. And as an added bonus, this book is even hotter than the previous one, and the author focuses on the scenes we did not see previously.
There is an added unexpected plot twist, that starts building behind the scenes, which was absolutely mind blowing! As I said this was such a brilliant concept and so unusual, I enjoyed it immensely. And the author's writing is as beautiful and consistent as it was in the first book. Wonderfully done!
Books are best read in order: Secrets in Suburbia (Suburbia Book 1), Men in Suburbia (Suburbia Book 2), A Very Suburbia Christmas (Suburbia Book 3), and Escape to Suburbia (Suburbia Book 4 Prequel).

OMG Melody Calder you have done it again men in suburbia is book 2 and wow wow wow very hot and lots of steamy scenes. I just love Samantha and her men and there love for each other is amazing and they will do anything to protect Samantha. there is a blast from Marino’s pass that threaten to destroy there relationship and love for each other in the form of his ex wife. The guys keep the information about Mario wife from Samantha and she finds out the hard way that they have been keeping secrets from her but little do they no that Samantha has a secret to. I absolutely loved the storyline and love Samantha , Mario , jake and stu and there relationships can’t wait to see were the story goes next

Men in Suburbia- yes please

Men in Suburbia is Book 2 by Melody Calder and my oh my ..... it’s awesome - I just inhaled it. The characters are great, the storyline relatable and I love that it’s just normal adults. Secrets in Suburbia introduces us to Samantha, Jake, Stu and Mario but in Book 2 you really get to know them and they are super characters! Some people may have issues with the level of smut but I’m just that person who wants more and Ms Calder delivers, oh she delivers. Written extremely well, I’m hoping Ms Calder is already writing her next book. 5 stars every day of the week.

This book is a great follow-up to Secrets in Suburbia. In book one, the focus was not as much the romance but instead Samantha's journey and finding herself. In this book, we get a lot more details about Stu, Jake and Mario as well as relationship building. There were lots of gratifying steamy bits, a little intrigue and some drama. The only thing that I didn't like as much is the ending felt strange. Don't get me wrong, there aren't any plot threads left hanging but it still felt like it ended abruptly. I still love this book and recommend it!! I can't wait to read more from Melody Calder!!

This sequel was great. I really liked the fact that it was all from the men’s point of view. I loved the storyline with Mario’s ex and finally finding out more about his past. I did get a little confused with the timeline after the first few chapters but after certain events were mentioned I roughly knew where we were in comparison to the first book as most of it runs parallel. I was not expecting the surprise at the end at all, but I liked it.

Great continuation!

This book continues with the POV’s of the men in Samantha’s life, in addition to some others. I loved seeing things through the men’s eyes, and they did not hold back with their thoughts & feelings for the one woman they have all fallen in love with. It was scorching hot - these men definitely do what needs to be done to please their woman! Looking forward to see what this author comes up with next!

This was a great follow up book. It was so fun to get to see more into their lives and see their relationship grow. I loved seeing as they navigated their relationships and figured out how everything was going to work. This book definitely took up the steam level and oh buddy! Don't worry there is still drama and plot twists that make for a great read! I enjoyed this second book it was a great fun read and would definitely recommend it!

I really enjoyed this book! I read the first one and enjoyed all of the twists and turns that Melody weaves within the story, and this is no different! I was interested from beginning to end, and I thoroughly loved reading it. Really loved all the steam as well (are we surprised that I’m a perv? No.) hahaha

I definitely would recommend!

What an amazing follow up for Secrets in Suburbia. In this book, the story continues with the different POV's of Samantha's men. I love how we get the men's perspective, they really didn't hold anything back! We get to see what's in their thoughts, their passion for Samantha. The chemistry is so hot, it will melt you right in your spot! I can definitely see why Samantha fell in love with them. I can't wait to see what Melody brings next!

Oh My God! This book was absolutely wonderful. Sexy, hot, mysterious, and some humor thrown in. It was good to see what had happened in detail from the first book and to see the guys POV. I just hope it doesn't end the way it did and Melody gives us another look into the life living in suburbia.
